Came here walk in and never get an appointment because of due to rush project car and J help me out to do the fitments and everything. Im so happy he help me.

Took our 2001 LS 430 and they did a really good job shaving and rolling our fenders. The workers were very professional and explained everything that’s being done to the car very well. I recommend coming to this shop for fender work and suspension work.

James and his crew helped me roll my fenders and it came out super clean! Will definitely come back to install my coilovers or bags if I have the money!

Don’t believe the reviews. I tried to forget about the Mikey mouse work they did to my fenders but several months later I still am upset about paying these guys burning my hard earned money away. I went in last summer to roll my fenders all the way around on my new Honda CR-​Z after i just bought some wheels for it. At the time I was just on some swift springs with stretched tires so it didn’t rub at the time, but I was in the market for some coilovers and had plans to go lower which is what I told them. That’s why I wanted all four rolled. I even told them I wanted the tab in the rear wheels relocated because on the crz forum, people had the same issue with that same tab and advised to have it relocated or shaved off and FD didn’t know what I was talking about? Lol alright? So months later I finally get my coils and lower the car and what a surprise it was to find rubbing all around including on the tabs in the rear, not only that the front wasn’t rolled fully and is now eating away my tires! Thanks FD ! Thanks for nothing! Btw I contacted the owner with this issue and asked him if I could come in to resolve it on a Sunday. He said they «warranty» their work and that they would be there. I drove over to their Santa Ana workplace from my home in riverside and wait for it… They weren’t there! Ha! Wtf the guy never even contacted me back after leaving him polite messages to give me a call back. No thanks mannn… Don’t go here. I ended up calling a mobile fender service and listen to this. The guy said this wasn’t the first time FD gave a promise and went MIA and he ended up picking up his potential clients. Good for for the mobile fender roller guy but that’s just bad business etiquette on FD’s part. The mobile fender roller guy found that I had a ripped cv axle boot and my new coilover was leaking fluid. The coilover was a manufacturer defect but luckily was under warranty since it was brand new. Because of this I ended up just getting my suspension put back to stock. Once I got my suspension all situated and ready to lower the car once more I went to a recommended shop by a trusted friend. These guys are great and trustworthy. I showed them the job that FD did and they said that they didn’t roll the fender fully. That’s why they were tearing away at my tires. They did the best they could but couldn’t fix what FD did and actually resulted in some ripple effect in the front fenders. All in all I blame Fender defender for not doing the job right the first time and flaked on me when I had made the effort to fix the issue initially. The owner had actually contacted me many months later replying to my message that I sent him long ago trying to resolve the fender work they did (before I went to the secondary shop) but as they looked at the fenders they took no responsibly with no offer of a refund. I’m sure some people get some nice work done here, but in my case I ended up with the short end of the stick. I guess that’s just how the game goes when it comes to altering the look of your vehicle.

James is the best! Had my front fenders rolled and he took care of it no problem. Before going, my tires rubbed so bad, couldn’t even turn. When I left (car was at the same height) car turned flawlessly without any rubbing.

I came here under the impression I had an appointment set at 10:30AM (showed up at 10:20AM). I pulled up to this small location for a trunk swap that I’ve been trying to setup with another party driving from Perris, CA. We both called the day before to confirm that we can get this done at 10:30AM ⁵⁄₂₈.
Initial impression of the shop is a very small garage…
I was told at 10:30AM that the «boss» will be in soon and he offered me a seat and I sat and waited. The other party showed up about 10:40 — 10:45AM after driving from Perris and I gave him the run down. Being that I had to be at work I gave this store until 11:30AM for the «boss» to show up and remedy the situation.
At 11:24AM the «boss» showed up and introduced himself and then I spoke with Cody who he arrived with. Cody begins to tell me nothing was set in stone and I wasn’t put into the schedule since according to him I didn’t confirm my appointment (both the other party and I called the day before). Regardless I was already upset having waited for nearly 1 hour before someone can tell me that and having missed a few hours caused me to be more aggravated.
I would like to think that if I really didn’t confirm my appointment why would I show up 5 – 10 minutes before 10:30AM? Why wasn’t anyone there to take care of the situation? Why aren’t your employees competent enough or trusted enough to tell us what you did and saved us 1 hour of just sitting around?
Their shop hour is $ 80 which is cheaper than most shops but if you want budget work and unprofessional tendencies I guess this is for you…
Edit: I appreciate the prompt response to my review but I didn’t assume we had an appointment time. I was only under the impression because I’m confident I confirmed the appointment with Cody. You can deny the fault at any point but what I was trying to explain was why would I show up just to walk in?
Also a demanding time frame? I was quoted a hour to hour and a half job at most hence leaving enough time for that. If the job couldn’t be completed in that time frame I believe the courteous thing to do is let your client who is sitting in the waiting room know.
What is unprofessional is having to wait for you, James to hear back that the appointment was never scheduled and it was our fault for not confirming when it was clear we were going to show up and did show up.

Honest people, great service. Let’s start off with the appliances they have in the front office waiting room. Dude, there’s a PlayStation set up for you if you get bored or have to wait a while; because of a longer project or you go to the other side and watch a movie.
I went in for a fender roll but it turned out I needed my fender shaved. I went ahead and got that done. before J rolled my fenders out they let me know that I wasn’t going to need it.
Any other shop would have done it just so I could have been charged for it.
But this shop is filled with honest people, that’s a definite plus.
Now to the work itself, it was dope too!
I slid my hand underneath on the side of my fender and it felt smoother than a baby bottom. I was expecting a bit roughness but that shish was nice.
Well I should be installing my coils this weekend, let’s see if I have to go back for that roll lol

After years of being in the car scene, I’ve finally found someone whose honest and does 5 star worthy work. James is the definition of a class act. Unlike the other countless sell outs and scam artists in this business, whose names I won’t list, James does things his way, the right way.
I went in for a full air suspension install on my m6 and he got it done within two days after running into multiple huge set backs. My kit didn’t come with the fittings for the air tank, so he went out of his way to source them and get them for me. My front bags didn’t fit right, so he went out of his way to bore out the holes at the top of the strut towers so that they would fit correctly. Any other shop in LA would’ve simply said sorry they don’t fit, see yuh. But not James, the man got it done. Last but not least he sourced a pair of dual black Viair compressors for me so that I could swap out my chrome ones, free of charge.
To top it all off, he did a custom wood trunk setup for about 5 times cheaper then any other shop I got a quote from, AND he did a 5 times better job then any other shop would’ve done. The man is a legend.
Needless to say if you’re worried about letting others work on your car, rest assured your car is at the best place possible if you bring it to James. I’ll be going to go to him for all of my aftermarket mods from here on out, he’s simply the best.

James at Fender Defender is one of the most genuine person I have ever met. The second I got to the shop I was treated like family, feeling comfortable and fitting right in. He got me a KILLER deal on a Airlift Kit for my Legacy GT and had it installed in close to no time! The trunk was so well done, everything clean and mounted onto a board wrapped in carpet they made, the air suspension all calibrated and nice, they sat there with me making sure im 110% happy wit the ride height and stiffness. I will never go to another shop for my aftermarket parts!

Hands down the best shop for aftermarket suspension, bolt on and parts needs! James, the owner is the most humble and down to earth guy I’ve ever met. He’s as knowledgable as he is humble, honest and he always tries to help me out to the best of his ability. Prices are also very fair. Hands down the best customer service by James at fender defender. Had my air installed by Fender Defender and had and issue (which was my fault). Called James at 10pm after hours and he was more than happy to take my call and help me out!
Fitment game is on point here! Had my fenders rolled and it came out perfect! Also has good knowledge of what wheel specs would fit perfect on your car along with tire sizes.

Great place, really friendly people, and amazing customer service.
My sway bar end link was missing a bolt and they got one for me free of charge.
I had them roll my fenders and uninstall my front helper springs, they did a great job on the fenders and got the helper springs out very quickly. All for a very fair price in my opinion.

Amazing shop and friendly group of guys. Brought my Evo X in for fender rolling and to have lowering springs installed. Top notch quality work on the roll and install! Very happy with the results. It is shops like this that are keeping the cars scene strong!

James and his staff were excellent and very helpful. They made great recommendations and ended up saving me money on my fender rolling needs for my Mazdaspeed 3. I will gladly come back and visit them all the way from the Temecula Valley area if I need to! Thanks again gentlemen!

This happened on 02÷19÷16
Called them to see how much they charge to roll fenders, no one picked up. I sent a text asking for a quote, I got an answer back within 30 minutes. I replied stating my interest and would like to schedule the next available opening.
NO RESPONSE!
Went somewhere else to get it done.

This spot is the best go to after any wheels install and before alignment. James is the most helpful guy I’ve met, car wise. He doesn’t give you answers, he gives you feedback as if your car was his. Services are great too with decent prices. Hit em up!

My friend YJ recommended me to this place and boy was it the best shop I’ve ever been to since my move from Guam. They make sure that the installation has no problems and they have fantastic customer service. Will be coming back here to get my fenders rolled. Just remember to text James available appointment times if he doesn’t answer.
