I love corner bakery Makes me feel healthy when I come eat here. My last visit I got two flats it comes with either chips or carrots.(make sure to say what you want bc sometimes the cashiers will just add chips to your order without asking) I also ordered a drink My total was $ 10.60 I believe I love the hibiscus lemonade To be honest I got full and only ate half. I took the rest home. I left feeling like a champ. –1 star bc the girls working in the front don’t seem friendly. When my friend asked if she can get carrots on my plate the girl have her this weird stare. Like I wouldn’t be telling you if you would have done your job and asked me to being with

Mmmmm. Food is so fresh and tasty at corner bakery. The Asian pork on flat bread is absolutely amazing. One of my new favorites. I can’t wait to eat it again…

The girl behind the counter early(before 7am) needs to be less abrasive. She comes across as rude and impatient!

I have gone to many different Corner Bakeries(as far as the East Coast) and I’ve always received the same service: smiles, greetings, simple transactions, and good food. I have been to this a few times before but haven’t gone for awhile –the Fountain Valley one is great. I came in to order something for my fiancé and I. I was not greeted, which is fine, but when I asked how big the café size of the pasta was compared to the entrée size, the girl ringing me up LITERALLY looked to her right at her co-worker, who was not being productive by the way, and rolled her eyes –INFRONTOFME – before grabbing a bowl and saying, «It’s half of this.» So I proceeded to order for my fiancé the pesto cavatappi and then looked back up to the menu board to see what I wanted. Social cues would obviously show that I am using some think time to figure out what I wanted. I was just looking at which kind of soups and there was no one behind me in line, and I truly just glanced over the list before she said«Is that all you’re ordering?» with attitude. I said, «Well, I’m trying to figure out what I want because I’m ordering for myself as well.» I payed, proceeded to sit and wait for my food, which was the same quality but the rude service left a bad taste in my mouth. In addition to my interaction alone, when I sat down on the couch to wait for my take out order, the co-worker went to deliver a salad to a lady in the booth behind me. The lady said, «Actually, I ordered balsamic vinaigrette.» She went back to the register and the girl who took my order said, «I JUSTASKEDHER. DIDN’T YOUHEARMEASKHER?» and rolled her eyes. With these two snapshots of my experience here today at Corner Bakery, I’m truly appalled at the customer service. I actually teach high school so I’m assuming these are either teens or young adults in college holding a retail job. I was in the same position and never once did I rudely interact with my customers –even if I was in a bad mood or whatever else – because I was doing my job. The job here is simple: serve your customers. A smile would be a plus but it’s not necessary –all I’m asking for is a simple transaction for my food without any attitude, any snarky remarks, and no audible angst against your customers. The fact that these girls loudly expressed their negative feelings towards their job/customers is so unprofessional.

Had the spaghetti, nothing special but not horrible. The place was dirty and my order took 15 min to come out. the staff looked unhappy and not very friendly. The line was super slow.

1−10…a 9.5 Been coming to Corner Bakery since like forever. Specifically to this location near South Coast. The customer service is great and the place is always very clean to my POV. There’ve been many times when i’ve had activity very early in the morning that by the time it reaches 7:30am or 8:00am, by body just needs a fulfilling bfast to recharge the batteries. Without a doubt CB does not disappoint. Their paninis are really great! My personal favorite is their bacon & cheddar panini. Absolutely delicious; i just have to get it every time. The Anaheim Panini is also another great option I highly recommend. But to me, this place doesn’t scream breakfast until i’ve had some of their oatmeal. Now, they don’t just have any ordinary oatmeal… they have THEBEST«cold» oatmeal ever! Yah i’m serious. It’s all ’bout their Chilled Swiss Oatmeal. Served chilled, it’s oatmeal with yogurt & milk, diced apples, sliced bananas, and cranberries. Simply the best~_~ If ur not really feeling my excitement, then i guess worry not, they also have the classic hot oatmeals which are pretty good too. Hehe. Now, i agree with some that the style is very much like Panera. It might also be true that Corner Bakery is a bit more greasier speaking health wise… but i mean, come on! The difference is pretty clear when it comes down to taste. So, if u planning to cheat the diet anytime soon with a satisfying high carb bfast then just do it right and come to CB once and for all… i mean, technically u finished reading this review, so u have to be a bit tempted right? Lol

A week prior to our weekly order there was a mistake with our food. When we called to inform them of our incorrect order. we received a wonderful and professional response from the staff, Rachel. She rectified our situation. Today we placed our order again and Rachel insured our order was correct. She was wonderful and we will definitely be repeat customers of corner bakery!

We love corner bakery and usually order the chopped salad. Take out is kind of hit or miss and sometimes the food doesn’t look as fresh as it could. When we dine in, we’re very happy.

Super good service when i visited this one at 3pm but … I learned to give the clerk my old receipts to record on my frequent shoppers card given to me by the clerk at the outlet store of orange. However, the clerk here at this south coast location, refused to return my receipts after he marked my card. I had to teach him to write something on my old receipts then return those to me. After all, those were for my bookkeeper to file my tax return. Why did I need to each him?

We went to this place in the mall which was convenient which was nice. I ordered the pull pork sandwich which was good. It comes with chips as well, but since I was reducing the portions, I only had the sandwich. It was good and delicious and the order came up quick as they delivered it. I would say it was okay

I got a turkey sandwich here and it was great. The portions were generous and I got a side of chips and a salad. The lines were a little long to order but I got my food fast and the staff was friendly. They had several choices of coffee(I liked the Ethiopian blend). Unfortunately I could not get a refill of the same one because it was empty.

I love corner bakery– their sandwiches are delicious, salads, baked goods– bread! Great place for lunch or breakfast. They have a pretty good selection of food from salads, sandwiches, pasta, to soups. I’m a pretty big fan of this place and they also have a great breakfast menu! As most cafes, there’s nothing super spectacular about this place that stands out but the fact that they offer variety, are pretty quick on service, food is consistent, and they have freshly baked goods makes for a good spot to frequent :)

Came here for my first time with my mom and uncle and I was not disappointed! I got the pesto cavatappi for $ 8.99(entrée size), my uncle got bbq pork grilled flat, and my mom got their chopped salad. Pesto Cavatappi: Mine was perfectly portioned. The sauce was delicious, as was the garlic bread. The price is good as well. Would definitely get this again. BBQ Pork Grilled Flat: Uncle said serving was too small. And it was $ 6.99 for something that was not worth it. Chopped Salad: Delicious overall, could do without raw green onions. The raw green onions made the salad smell to onion-y Service: Great Cleanliness: Wouldn’t hurt to wipe down the seats top since wiping the food off the table got onto the seats Portions: Good, except for the BBQ Pork flat. Quality: Delicious!

Slowest wifi in the US. I think they hold the record. Slowest lines in the Orange County Region. For sure. Iced tea is great. That’s about it.

Derrick, the manager, is the reason why this specific Corner Bakery stands out. My first interaction with him was over the phone to place a catering order for the office. We needed baby bundts which were not offered on the catering menu, he made it happen. It wasn’t exceptional service because he made an exception, rather it was his patience and genuine attitude in doing his best to help his customer. Not once did I feel rushed. He invests time in every customer to make sure your experience is a wonderful one. Great customer service and attitude every time. The 2nd occasion, I went in to the restaurant to dine. Derrick was hands on serving mini cookies to the entire restaurant as a simple thank you for coming in. I always appreciate the leaders and managers who take the time to work side by side with their team. Again, upbeat attitude and top notch courtesy and professionalism. Derrick not only provided service for us, but acknowledged us by name and anticipated our needs(I grabbed a to-go box before he could beat me to it, but he came back to our table with a bag for us). I appreciate Derrick and his hard work and dedication. He truly exemplifies exceptional customer service.

It seems like every time we go to Corner Bakery, there’s always a new«can’t»: * Can you put avocado on my sandwich instead of bacon? «That’ll be a dollar charge.» A DOLLAR?! To replace bacon with avocado?! * We bought two coffees, but got only one stamp on our coffee card. «We can’t stamp coffee cards for espresso drinks; only coffee.» WHAT?! I paid MORE for that espresso than for the coffee! Espresso IS coffee! Ugh.

Very disappointed with this specific Corner Bakery location. Came in for a Sunday morning brunch around 9:00am. Only one party ahead of us but we stood in line for a while. It was apparent both cashiers didn’t know what they were doing. The manager had to come assist the other cashier. Our cashier didn’t even know what buttons she was pushing or something! I asked for the chicken apple sausage power thin panini($ 3.89) with added brown-sugar oatmeal($ 1). I kept looking at what she rang up. the regular chicken apple sausage sandwich. Took her about 5 tries before she got it. Boyfriend got the anaheim panini sandwich and added oven roasted potatoes($ 1). After paying, i realized she had charged us $ 1.79 for the potatoes as its own side and not an addition to the sandwich. We let it go since it wasn’t much of a difference. Food took F-O-R-E-V-E-R to come. I’ve NEVER sat so long in any Corner Bakery so long when the place wasn’t even really packed! Saw another table compalin to one of the guys, too. When our food finally did come … two thumbs down. The cheese in my panini was not close to melted, all our food came out cold except the oatmeal(overhead they ran out of oatmeal so i guess they had to wait to make more but it’s NOTOKAY to serve a customer cold food). The anaheim sandwich was good. The potatoes? They didn’t give much !!! Pathetic portion and the potatoes were also really dried out. Horrible food, horrible location.
