Officially launched May 15, 2011, Coir Mat​.com is a door mat web store featuring sustainable, eco-​friendly coir door mats and other matting products. Once traditionally focused on durable and eco-​friendly rubber products, Rubber-​Cal is now venturing into a new realm of eco-​conscious floor mats. Because rubber and coconut plants have historically grown side by side in the tropics, the connection between natural rubber floor mats and mats made from natural coir fiber is a logical one. Coir Mat​.com was first conceived as Rubber-Cal’s web store for coir mats, cocomats, and other coconut husk by-​products, and it will continue to grow and evolve as a brand.

As Brand Manager for Coir​Mat​.com, Erica runs an #ecofriendly Twitter account (@CoirMat) and oversees all facets of the Coir​Mat​.com web site. Through Coir​Mat​.com and Twitter, Erica seeks to convey the importance of eco-​friendly living — and eco matting.
