Overall our experience from start to end was great! There were a couple of hiccups but their prompt attention gained the full 5 stars. It all started at their Vista location. We walked in not knowing any information about the different types of built in grills and burners. Greg showed us the differences with the brands and features. We decided to gather a few brochures and do more research on our own. A week later we were ready to purchase. Tony helped us with our purchase. These guys are friendly and knowlegable. But I have to give it up to the guys from the Santa Ana location: Fernando, Marco and Leo! You guys are awesome! Fernando is the guy behind the customer service when I called to check in on our order. He was great in fixing our hiccups promptly. Marco and Leo were the installers. They did a fantastic job! They showed up on time, worked clean and were able to answer my questions and concerns. To my surprise, they also cleaned our entire barbecue island counters. Thank you!

The team at BBQ Grill outlet was so great to work with. I was searching for a grill for my boyfriend’s birthday and the team at BBQ Grill outlet was terrific. I first started out talking to Tony in the Vista store. He provided great insight on the differences between the Primo grills v. The Big Green Egg. Then I called back the next day and talked to the Owner, Gary and wow, he was equally as helpful and informative. They really seem to care about their customers and strive for satisfaction. Outstanding service from the showroom to installation! Extremely knowledgable showroom staff who are more interested in finding the right product for you versus the most expensive. Fantastic customer service at installation. David and Mago spent hours making our new barbeque fit perfectly into a spot that needed a lot of attention. Very professional and thorough. What a wonderful experience I just had with BBQ Grill Outlet!!! 5 Stars for recommending an affordable grill, not pressuring me to make a quick decision, and installing the grill!
Mago and Marcos the installers told me they would be at the house between 9am and 11am and arrived promptly at 9:30am. They walked me through what they were going to do, and did exactly that. Halfway through, they offered to move the natural gas outlet to a more convenient spot and allow me more room in the backyard by moving the grill a bit closer to the house… all at no charge! You don’t get this kind of customer service anymore. They had to also make a cut out of from the previous frame, all part of the service, again no charge.
After installing the grill, they cleaned up my entire bbq area which had accumulated 12 years of residue, and it was a clean as the day I bought it. We then went over the instructions on how to light the grill and finally carted away all the trash and old grill, once again at no charge!
I would recommend BBQ grill outlet to anyone needing a grill, their soft sell approach, coupled with their customer service is a rare find these days, where one rarely gets, price, service and quality.

We had the pleasure to find this place on Google. We were greeted by one of the owners Gary, he showed us the display of the outdoor fireplaces. He really did a great job educated us on the different models without being pushy.
As a business owner, I know that the staff can make a big difference, Marcos and Leonel made that difference for us, there installation was impeccable and meticulous.
I would recommend this company to anyone.

Last summer, I made a large purchase from BBQ Grill Outlet. I worked with a few different guys and at the end, Gary, one of the owners helped me complete the process. He gave me all kinds of good advice on grill techniques, care for my grill, and options with the different components. I ended up buying the Twin Eagles brand for my grill and drawers. The price is the same at all retailers so there is no point in shopping on price. I choose these guys because of their sales and service. I am confident that if I have an issue with the grill someday, they will be there to help me with the problem. Thanks guys. I am a happy customer.

I am completely in shock by the lack of customer service at this store. They had a grill brought up from their San Diego store for me only to sell it to someone else the very same day I was to pick it up. I was never told I needed to leave a deposit. I would have paid for the entire grill in full had I known it could have been sold right out for under me.
The manager, who was not there yesterday, insisted I was told to leave a deposit but that is 100% false.
Their prices are not any cheaper than anywhere else so spend your money else where. They don’t care about their clients at ALL!!!

I had researched many premium grills — both online and retail stores. I chose the Lynx grill — made in the US in Southern California — excellent customer service, the right price for a 30 inch gas grill with top of the line features. Customers must remember that after you have purchased a grill and it is delivered and setup you then need to deal with the manufacturer not the store for any problems so it is important to select wisely.
I chose BBQ Guys in Santa Ana for my purchase and my salesperson, Zack was the best. He was professional, no sales hype, explained the features and the differences in grills of my choice and pretty much matched other offers. I could have purchased online, but wanted a local place and it was about even as far as price/​install.
The grill was delivered within 10 days and the delivery person, Carlos was professional and quick.
I would recommend the BBQ Guys in Santa Ana and Zack in particular for your grill purchases.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The store offers a wide selection of medium to high end brand names. The customer service was outstanding and we would recommend this store to anyone looking for help selecting items for the perfect BBQ set up. We purchased everything needed for a decent size BBQ island and we are happy with every item we purchased, from the drawers, burners, refrigerator, sink, BBQ and Big Green Egg. They educated us on the equipment and gave us helpful tips. They helped us design the island. They completed the install of island and all equipment and we are extremely pleased. Any concern we had with our project was addressed immediately. We could not be happier with our purchases and would recommend BBQ Grill Outlet to anyone looking for BBQ equipment.

I was referred to the BBQ Grille Outlet by my neighbor. He has done business with them in the past. We walked in and were greater by Gary. He explained the showroom layout and then showed us the model I was interested in. I happened to be able to buy the display models of three of the items I was after. On top of that if was able to take advantage of the Black Friday savings. They had everything in stock except for 1 door. Gary then gave me the dimensions on all the products I had purchased so my contractor would have the information he needed to build out my island.

I called quiet a few companies in the Orange County area to purchase fire glass for my gas fire place. I spoke with a very helpful gentleman over the phone, Tony. In the store, Gary assisted me in making my selection. He was professional and very honest, qualities that I really appreciate. He helped me select glass that I love. It totally changes the look of my living room.
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I will be recommending BBQ Grill Outlet to my friends and family.

I went to BBQ Grill Outlet to get ideas and found them to be superb in their ability to design and make recommendations that gave me the solution I wanted. They also had everything in their store display so I could actually see what I was getting. They came in ahead of schedule for the build and a couple of punch list items were discovered after the crew left. Absolutely no discussion other than we will fix it. .. that is the sign of a quality contractor. I now have a Fire Magic gas grill and a Big Green Egg smoker which are both integrated into a great looking enclosure with granite counter tops and tile back splash. The unit is completely functional with below counter access and storage. Yes, I would recommend them and the products they sell.

Called these guys for some prices on BBQ and came in and they said they couldn’t honor the price quoted on the phone. They pulled a bait n switch. I was still ready if it weren’t for their condescending attitude like they were the BBQ kings. They should also take the outlet out of their name cause their prices are full retail or higher. Have u guys heard of service with a smile

Based on the name one might surmise an outlet center might sell on price or be somewhat negotiable. My experience was a feeling of arrogance and unwillingness to provide all the facts one needs in buying a mid-​scale BBQ. I became fearful. The salesperson did not give me the complete info I asked for (for my wife) which I can only assume he wanted to add-​on all the extras once he had me in grasps! His f/​u email said: Did you pull the trigger yet?” Trigger? I am waiting for your info. I also do not use the word «Trigger» as it seems dated to me? Perhaps he should work in a gun shop! I then told him she was comparison shopping at Costco, BBQ Galore, Amazon, ebay and others. Here is his response, «OK, I wish you well with your purchase. That’s why we pay the high rent and buy grills so customers can touch and feel. Glad we were able to help you in your search. Most customers appreciate and love buying from the brick and mortar to support their local biz, but you can’t win them all. Any help in the future, let me know.»
How sincere? Fortunately there many options to buy a BBQ and not have to put up with this place and its BS! Gave it a 1 star as there were no options for lower.

This place is wonderful. I came in looking for a big green egg. They have them cheaper than any other place in california. (I checked) they told all about the grill and gave me personal experiences and tips with it. They offered to assemble the grill for me for cheap and I declined. I took the grill home to assemble it and dropped it breaking the top. The top was supposed to be $ 240 to replace. Bbq galore worked with their contacts and got me a new lid for FREE. All I payed was shipping. They’re my Bbq people for life!

I just had a BBQ Island built and installed by the BBQ Grill Outlet. It was a wonderful experience. My wife and I visited the Lake Forest location and met Jim, one of the designers. He is an AMAZING designer. My wife and I were very impressed with the design he came up with for our backyard. We loved his attention to detail. He saw that we were open to his ideas so during the whole process he would come up with new ideas and make tweaks to the design. We loved all of his ideas and have an amazing island with bar seating because of him.
Besides doing our design, Jim also walked through the store and showed us all the various grills they had. He didn’t try to sell us on just the high-​end equipment. We never felt pressured to buy a particular grill or brand. We were replacing an older grill and knew the features we wanted so we gave him those features and he showed us all the different brands and models that met our criteria and told us what he thought were the pros and cons of each grill. We were then able to make an informed choice.
Tim was our scheduler. He and his installers were also amazing. They kept us updated and informed all throughout the build process. When they set an appointment they were on time. The installers were very professional and answered all my crazy questions. When the island was finished and all the equipment installed they walked me through a thorough demonstration of all the equipment and made sure I understood how everything worked.
From start to finish the whole BBQ Grill Outlet team was exceptional. I’ve been talking them up with all my friends.
If you are looking for a custom built BBQ Island then the BBQ Grill Outlet is the place to go. I highly recommend these guys.

This place sucks! Walked in to buy a bbq island and upon walking in and around the whole place, not one person asked if we needed help. Walked up to the grey haired moron with the glasses to ask a question and i was given the «give me a minute» with his finger pointing upwards…
This idiot cant multitask? All he was doing was bullshitting with this other old guy about taxes. Not that important or anything just wanted to spend about 7k on an island. Well me and my 7k walked right out the door! What an idiot!
Spoke to someone outside who mentioned a place in corona which i drove to, and saved atleast 2k!!! If u want to save some $$ head out of the o.c. and away from the beach…

I highly recommend the guys at The BBQ Grill Outlet in Santa Ana.
These are the guys to help you out with any BBQ needs. Having so many grills to choose from, it helps to have Gary and Jay keep you focused. They are friendly and spend the time to help you decide what best fits your needs.
Gary showed me many grills at my price range and fortunately for me, Lynx was running a special on their 30″ Professional Series grill. They priced the premium grill at a value level price point. I immediately bought the grill with sear zone and rotisserie, but needed an island to put it in. I wanted to save some money and build the island myself even though I have never done anything like that before.
Gary showed me the light and took me on a tour of the fabrication area. I realized that there is no way I could build a frame as quick and as strong as these guys. They have all the cool tools, know exactly what they are doing and use square tubular steel, not flimsy metal studs.
New plan, they build and install the frame and I do the finish work. A two man team came out to the house and worked their magic. They did a clean, quick and thorough job. After a few hours the frame was level and looking great. They also installed the cement board with minimal seams for me to tape later.
All I had to do now was tile, grout, stucco, and install the grill and other components. I bought the acrylic stucco through The BBQ Grill Outlet. I simply brought in a sample of the color and a few days later I received colored acrylic stucco. Gary told me to call if I had any questions on the finish work. Again, since I’ve never done anything like this before I took him up on his offer, several times.
In the end, my family and I got to enjoy the island with the best seared steaks we’ve ever had.

Finally… today I came in to see about purchasing an outdoor grill for my stand-​alone BBQ area. As I walked in, I was greeted by a very very TALL sales rep name Tony. He was really laid back and friendly. I started asking questions about the difference of high-​end grills and he took the time to show me all the details of each brand. I was only interested in the following brands and they had them all. They had Lynx, Fire Magic and Twin Eagles. The one I was really wanting to check out today was the Lynx grills. Man, I felt like I was in stainless steele heaven as soon as I saw it. There it was, all nice and clean, shining and gleaming for me to check it out. Tony owned one too and he let me know the difference of the one I liked versus the other 2. Lynx was like the Mercedes to the Toyotas in grills. We talked about everything it offered to make my grilling dreams come true. I was sold… just had to go and make sure the size will retro-​fit into the existing one I had at home.
SERVICE — Tony was professional, knowledgeable and not pushy like all the other sales people in this business.
STORE — This store was clean and well equipped with grills, grill accessories, high-​low end model grills and anything else that deals with BBQ-​ing.
FINANCING — They do offer financing for the folks that would like to finance their purchase. Their financing bank is Wells Fargo and they have a 6 months or 1 year plan.
DELIVERY/​INSTALLATION SERVICE — Yes they will deliver your grill for $ 65 and can install any purchase for a flat fee.
ISLAND DESIGN/​INSTALLATION — Yes, they make islands and will install it for you if you are looking into designing and getting an outdoor grill.
I will be calling them back soon to place my grill. I cannot wait to grill and sear some steaks, chicken, burgers, fishes and everything that I can put on a grill. See you soon Tony.
