Specialties
Treasures and bargains are to be found at AL Santa Ana’s «Seconds Street» Thrift Shop and the «Top Drawer» boutique which features designer labels. We have a continuous input of merchandise including clothing for men, women and children, housewares, books, toys, décor items and some furniture, so there is always something new to check out!
History
Established in 1937.
Assistance League of Santa Ana was chartered in 1937 as the third chapter of the national Assistance League. We have been in our current location on First Street in Santa Ana since the 1950’s. Our Thrift Shop has evolved from a small «gift shop» and is staffed by our volunteer members. It is the major fundraiser for our philanthropies, including Operation School Bell which provides school uniforms for needy Santa Ana Unified School District students, a Dental Center, and our scholarship Pupil Recognition Opportunity Program.
