Specializing in residential design, Angeleno Associates offers quality service and innovative design solutions to enrich lifestyle of home owners in luxury custom home projects and to create cutting edge housing products in high density development projects by production home builders.

We have designed luxury custom homes in many of Southern California’s most desirable neighborhoods including Crystal Cove, Shady Canyon, and La Quinta. We also provide full service to our clients with other project types such as merchant builder homes, multi-​family projects, resort facilities, community recreation buildings, community design guidelines.

History

Established in 2005.

Angeleno Associates Inc. is an architectural and planning design firm, a collaboration by David Ko and Christine Ly. Since its inception, AA has assisted many developers, builders and home owners in diverse range of residential and commercial projects, with focus on single-​family detached developments, custom residential, institutional facilities, urban renewal, commercial rehabilitation, and retail developments.

Since the departure from previous larger design firms, Ko and Ly carry the initiative to offer their personal commitment in servicing clients in their own practice. As principals, they maintain theirs and staff connection with all development phases of the projects. Clients are encouraged to contact and connect with both principals and staff, who are familiar with the projects to offer client assistance at any given time.

The practice by Ko and Ly presents the strong commitment to preserving integrity of architecture through interpretation of architectural history, understanding of urban context and execution of architectural details. Because mediocre design solutions are often due to lack of inspiration and drive to challenge the restraining design factors, a mission established by Ko and Ly is the vision to provide creative design with historical honesty, yet to intrigue with outside of the box thinking, to embrace innovative yet sound solutions responding to economic, social and environmental needs, through a well thought research-​concept-​execution process.
