I was an actual patient of Dr. Roney’s from January 2015-​May 2015. Daniel Roney is a «DC» Doctor of Chiropractic, not an actual Doctor of Medicine and SURELY not even a state approved «Naturopath».This review cracks open his money-​making scam. Unilocal do not remove my review, this is a first hand report as I was a patient of his.
HERE’S THE FACTS OF THIS CASE:
–No Guarantee you will be cured (His own words).
–Will cost between $ 3,000-$ 6,000 for a «plan»
–Roney had no plan at the time and diagnosed me with Insulinoma after a test came back for higher than normal insulin levels. (Which was found to be NEGATIVE after an unnecessary Ultrasound).
–Secretary was always reluctant to mail/​fax copies of test results & frequently was rude if disagreed with.
–Another actual Naturopath Doctor already viewed the test results shown to Roney and already know what’s wrong with me when Roney couldn’t. He’s a Chiropractor and should remain one. He’s not an Endocrinologist.
–2 days before Roney «put together» one of his secretive and way over priced plans for me he had no idea what was wrong with me because he couldn’t read the lab results correctly even though I was literally dying. but 2 days later he suddenly had a Wallet Gouging plan ready to «fix the numbers on his labs» instead of treating his ACTUAL symptoms.
There was a conflict of interest –Daniel Roney in one of his threatening e-​mails to me he mentioned posting in public all of my e-​mails back and forth to him regarding his private health information and private conversations and records. That would be a violation of H.I.P.A. laws and Doctor/​Patient confidentiality laws in the State of California. Needless to say, I understand why he got a few more 1-​star reviews here.

I am generally very cautious when it comes to visiting doctors (of any kind). A friend of mine recommended Dr Roney in hope to treat my back pain. I started to have it since my second baby was born and sometimes couldn’t even lay down and have to take a nap sitting on a couch. I went to see Dr Roney while visited the area during my long term vacation. He had a very nontraditional way of treatment for me. Instead of treating my problem right away he went ahead and researched where did it start and when. He asked me a bunch of questions and once the problem was understood Dr Roney went right to fixing it. Thanks to the treatment I am no longer having lover back pain and can get back to my normal daily activities.

Dr. Dan rocks! I’m fairly athletic and do a lot of things that constantly get me hurt. I train and /​or teach kickboxing, jiu jitsu, mma, etc. and spend countless hours in the gym. As a result, I’ve had my share of bruises, bumps, tweaks, sprains, and even breaks.
Now, I like to think that I’m fairly tough, but the one thing that routinely gets me is lower back pain. I can feel when I’m off and know when to go in. Dr. Dan doesn’t just adjust me back into shape, he helps determine the cause of these issues and helps educate how to avoid them in the future. Sure, some are inevitable due to the nature of my life, but others are caused by muscular imbalances that I was never aware of.

Called on Dr Dan after having been referred to him by a friend. We were in LA after a week-​long backpacking trip in Mammoth Lakes and then another week of driving through Yosemite and Frisco and down the coast. Days of spent in the rental Chevy Impala seat, bent over the steering wheel, didn’t go unnoticed by my lower back. It sure needed help.
Now, I’ve been to several chiropractors before. Most of them don’t really do much more than ask you to lie down on the massage table and then administer adjustments.
Dr Dan’s approach is different in that it is holistic. I mean, here is someone who offers an entire philosophy of wellness about how our body and mind are connected and work together. I believe that the only correct approach is a wholistic one and that’s why I recommend Dr Roney.

I came to see Dr. Roney on the recommendation of a friend. Dr. Roney spent a lot of time with me to gain a better understanding my issues. It’s worth a lot to have a doctor who has a good bedside manner which includes being a good listener. The staff was very attentive as well. And you couldn’t ask for friendlier guy than Steve, the kinesiologist.
