Brought my 1984 Mustang here for a carburetor rebuild when I first got the car two years ago. The first rebuild was good, though after only a year I started having starting issues in the mornings and a severe drop in fuel economy. When it came time for a smog check the car failed the first time, and so the mechanic suggested another rebuild on the carburetor so I brought it back to advanced. They rebuilt the carb and even on the first drive home it just didn’t seem to be running well. I took it back for a re-​check on the smog and they mechanic there told me it was running WAY too rich. I took it back to advanced and they «tuned» The carb again. On my 3^rd trip to the mechanic the carb was still tuned WAY too rich for it to pass smog, and only two days later something in the float came loose and the car wouldn’t even start. I had to pay to have it towed BACK to the carb shop and fixed. After they «fixed» the problem I took it to another mechanic who said the carb was STILL too rich to the extent that it had ruined my Catalytic converters.
Long story short; These guys cant even TUNE a carb right, let alone rebuild one. They use a bead blaster to clean the carbs before reassembling, which will destroy all the tight tolerances in a carb, and after going back for the 4^th tune up, to have it STILL be wrong, I think its time to find a new carb shop. A rebuild should last more than a year, and they SHOULD be able to get it right the first time. Id avoid this place it possible.

I had my Holley marine carburetor rebuilt here. Diego was very professional, honest and definitely knows his stuff. I dropped of my carburetor off on Monday and got it back the following day. My mechanic installed on my boat and it worked flawlessly. My boat put out a lot of power and hit 50 mph with ease

Nice, honest guys, no frills, they did the job on my 1 barrel Carter carb. Cash only kind of bummed me out. Sketchy neighborhood in Santa Ana. This is the only place I have been to for this kind of work. Kinda pricey for a small basic carb $ 180. Found a place in Fullerton that would do the same job for $ 150

My 55 cadillac had a hesitation and Diego said bring it in and gave me a fair quote over the phone. Advanced carb rebuilt the carb and tuned in on the car at a fair price. Turned out my hesitation had nothing to do w the carb. But the carb needed rebuilding anyway. Diego said leave the car over nite and he would like to runs some tests for me. Advanced carb went above and beyond replacing the coil fuel filter and points at no charge. I would definitely recommend them for there business. Thanks Diego.
