FANTASTIC location & amenities. Right on the beach, & individual owned condos.
We stayed in 4C3 (4^th building, 3^rd floor corner unit)
We Have been going here for over 25 years-​almost yearly. First went when I was a kid with my family. We all grew up& Had not been in 12 years & went back for a week to relive it & sanibel.
Great for people of ALL AGES. Very nice condos-​has all you can need included in them. Covered parking, storage closet by garage for each unit with beach goodies. Etc Etc.
Nice updates – 4 grills outside by a large patio for cooking-​we Cooked New Year’s Eve. Shuffleboard, tennis courts, beanbag toss, — Also a large pool by the beach.
Fantastic staff also I must add – Andy specifically!.

Stayed at unit 1C2 and was charmed by the exotic influences in the decorating. Beach right out the door was amazing and loved the chefs kitchen with granite and stainless.

Many issues with our condo including cleanliness. I just got done writing a review on trip advisor so I really don’t feel like typing the same thing twice. All I can say is thankfully there is a washer and dryer in the unit to clean the bedding. The communication from the owners during a water main break was very poor and we were without water for many hours.

Unit 1C2 is adorable! It’s updated & has everything you need. Perfect ocean view from the master & screened lanai too! Borrow beach chairs and toys for the beach just footsteps away. Enjoy the heated saltwater pool that overlooks the beach. Visit

This was our first time in Sanibel Island, so we didn’t know quite what to expect. As soon as we drove up to Ocean’s Reach, we knew we were going to have an amazing time! ALL of the staff was very friendly. They even took the time to tell us where the local grocery store was and what restaurants they recommended. When we had questions about our room, they answered promptly and thoroughly. Our room was amazingly clean and had all the amenities you could want. Each room overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, which is such a gorgeous view! When we thought we were going to have to stay in an apartment off premises to stay an extra night, after talking with the manager he moved us to a condo even nicer than the one we had rented for the price it would be to stay in the apartment (which was very cheap)! This was the icing on the cake. You will love this place, it made us fall totally in love with Sanibel and wanting to go back soon!

We were invited to visit friends here this week. We were so impressed with the grounds and the actual condo, that we are going to book a stay in the near future.

My family and I have stayed at Ocean’s Reach for 23 years, and we have plans to visit for many years to come. While individually owned and decorated, the units are held to standards by the owners’ association which ensure that they are well furnished and equipped. All units overlook the Gulf of Mexico, and I do not remember any property on the island closer to the beach. This is particularly nice in the evening — sitting on the lanais or lying in bed listening to the waves roll in. One very nice feature is having the pool overlooking the ocean (rather than being beside or behind the property. All parking is under cover. They have a nicely-​maintained tennis court, a basketball goal, and a shuffleboard court. «The Grove», a picnic area behind the buildings is equipped with 3 covered grills and sturdy chairs and tables amidst lovely landscaping. What truly makes Ocean’s Reach stand out is the quality and interest of the people working there in the office and on the grounds. We always have felt and do feel that we are joining family for a reunion rather than being just «paying customers». Staying there is treat, and it is a very good value.

Have been there for 34 years and watched my kids grow.

Perfect condo for Sanibel stay
We stayed at Ocean’s Reach for a 5 night vacation. For us, this was ideal.
Our unit was a 1 bedroom unit which came with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable amenities. Our arrangement did not have daily service, but the unit was stocked with plenty of supplies (laundry soap, dishwasher soap, extra towels, etc.) so we were never lacking. We found the absence of daily service to be a plus as we never had to schedule ourselves and could take things at our pace. The unit itself was in good, clean condition and had directTV, Internet, and ceiling fans with the built in air conditioning. All units had screened lanais.
You were right along the beach so we could walk along the beach for shelling without alot of hassle.
There is a pool, tennis courts, bicycles for guests to use.
We’d stay here again as its a clean, quiet condo.
