Mitch and Erika separately had a love for all things old, handmade, recycling and thrifting. When we met in 2011, we quickly recognized our combined love for turning old things new and giving others access to these beautiful things. Helping others thrift, recylce and keep things out of landfills was a natural transition. We started 2nd Chance in September of 2011 and after we got married in June 2012, we decided it was time to get serious. We opened our doors with regular store hours and a fun place for people to shop in February 2013.
