Fantastic Rueben. Came with a side. We got the green salad. Great food, very reasonable. We’ll be back.

Another terrific visit to this wonderful café. The food and ambiance is so worth it that a friend and I traveling through took a detour to order lunch and eat it in the square. We’d recommend this café to anyone. It’s worth taking time out to have a great lunch.

Very tasty place. I went here at random while visiting Sandford.
I ordered a BBQ chicken flat bread. It was tasty and came with a side salad. It was a decent amount of food without being to much. The other people in my group got a turkey croissant sandwich. They said that was very good. Someone else got some sort of panini. I forgot which one it was. They enjoyed it. Every entrée seemed to come with a side of your choosing.

Okay smoothie, unfriendly server. Booo. But they do have blue bell ice cream so if you feel like overpaying for that then have at it.

The dirtiest place I have ever seen. Would be afraid to eat the food and if you google this place you will see how many times they have been cited.

What a great neighborhood café! I have been for breakfast and lunch and always have an excellent meal and great service. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. My favorite place to have iced coffee!

Taste of Thyme Café’ is a little hidden gem within the Magnolia Square in downtown Sanford. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve watched the menu continue to grow since the conception of this little café’. They offer small-​town-​friendly service with a good menu selection ranging from sandwiches, soup, salads, smoothies, coffee & tea, and ice cream. They also have a wonderful and affordable breakfast menu selection. You can eat inside or out in the square at one of the outside café’ tables near the fountain. There is also FREE WiFi available here as well as anywhere within the down town Sanford area. Sanford is FREE WiFi Hotspot!

This place is great I’ve been going there for a few years now and the service and food are both always as good as it gets. Great for any budget any any diet, definitely my mainstay when it comes to eating out. A must go to if you haven’t yet. =)

This is a great place to get healthy fair (their food is great). You can also dig in to Blue Bell Ice cream or get something yummy and low carb. You can dine in or eat on the square. As Beth about your dietary needs and she knows! They also have good coffee!

My boyfriend and I stumbled across the Taste of Thyme café after checking out the Magnolia Street market. We decided we would split a sandwich to hold us over until dinner.
First of all, this place is so cute. It reminds me of a little market I used to go to all the time in Connecticut. The décor is unique. The place is small, there are only a few tables and a bar but wonderfully cozy.
The (what I’m assuming to be) owner was pleasant, we were deciding between a grilled chicken & artichoke flatbread, a french dip, or a roast beef and gorgonzola panini. She recommended the panini and it was delicious! It had this great horseradish sauce on it and roasted red peppers. It was freshly made and perfectly crunchy. We got a side of pasta salad which was good too. I wish it was a little tangier.
They serve blue bell ice cream, they have fruit smoothies and wonderful coffee drinks! Unilocalers– you need to check this place out!
I will definitely be back.
