Pride & Groom

After being a long time customer, I had a horrible experience today with my small shih tzu who went in for a bath and groom. I had an appointment at 10 am. Typically, my dog is done 3 hours later, so I showed up to pick her up at 1 pm to pay and pick her up, only to be snapped at that she was not ready and that it takes time. I told the groomers that I had to return home but my sister would pick her up. 2 hours later at 3pm, my sister stopped in to see if she was ready and got snapped at again in an extremely rude manner.
Finally, almost 2 hours later, I got a call that she was ready. After almost 6 hours of waiting and no polite interactions, I learned that I will NOT be going back there. My poor dog was waiting in the kennel all day until she finally was worked on.

I’ve been taking my Japenese Chins to this groomer for the last 12 years. They have reasonable rates and I’ve always been pleased with the quality of the grooming. I don’t know why the other reviews on here are negative, because the owner of this shop has always been friendly to us. My Chins are always excited to visit this groomer. I know she is very good with the dogs.

We’ve been taking our two Bernese Mountain Dogs to Pride & Groom for the past few years and they always do a superb job. The dogs always come out happy, clean and smelling great! I especially like how accommodating they are for us for our many last minute appointments and can often call a day or two ahead and they manage to fit us in.
