We provide comprehensive eye exams for infants, children, and adults to make sure your eyes stay healthy and you can see clearly. We use glasses, contacts, and LASIK to correct near-​sightedness (myopia), far-​sightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, and presbyopia at all ages.

We provide thorough medical diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases such as:

We can also diagnose and treat problems of visual efficiency (eye tracking, teaming, and focusing) and visual information processing (visual spatial, visual analysis, visual motor) such as convergence insufficiency, amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (cross eyes), visually related learning problems, and vision problems from brain injuries.

At Lumina Vision, we provide world-​class eye care to Sandy, Draper, and the entire Salt Lake Valley. We offer eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, vision therapy, and optical services. Our Doctors of Optometry are residency-​trained and board certified in order to provide you and your family the highest quality eye care backed by the most current vision science.

We also specialize in infant/​pediatric vision, lazy eye, eye turns, visually related learning problems, and vision problems from brain injuries. We feel that no child or adult should struggle with school, work, sports, or reading because of their vision.

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Ben Leishman, O. D.

Business Owner

Dr. Leishman is originally from Brigham City, UT. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biophysics at Brigham Young University in 2005 and then earned his Doctor of Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA in 2009. He then completed a residency at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL to specialize in Pediatric Vision and Binocular Vision (problems of eye teaming, tracking, focusing, and visual information processing). He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry. In his free time, he enjoys piano, biking, skiing, hiking, and ballroom dancing.
