We bought a shed from here last year, and it was fairly priced, delivered on time, and still works pretty well. But what prompted me to write this review is actually what they messed up, and how they fixed it to my satisfaction. We bought a $ 1400 fridge that was supposed to be here this morning. I called at 2pm, to find that I was supposed to be called and informed that said fridge would not be delivered today. In fact, if hasn’t even made it to the store. And nobody knew where it was. We made an appointment to talk to the appliance manager, who apparently did not work today. So naturally, we move right up the ladder to his boss so we could pretty much get a refund. The assistant manager, John, went out of his way to track down our fridge. Still on the west coast. For the next 5 weeks. But, he got us a better fridge at no additional charge and remained cool, friendly and professional regardless of my irateness. 2 of these 4 stars belong to him. Good job, John. ______________________update_________ So the delivery guys just showed up, a day earlier than we expected. So far, they have been going above and beyond to make this right. I’m upgrading to 5 stars.

Very knowledgable and helpful staff. They don’t run and avoid eye contact when you approach them. Know-what-I-mean?

This is a huge lowe’s. I ran in to get tape and paint but ended up spending several hours because there was so much stuff. For whatever reason it seems like this location had quite a bit of stuff that other locations do not carry. For a Friday night the place was pretty slow. It was easy to get in and out. Now on to the home improvements. :)

I’ve been long-winded about my orange vs. blue preferences(see original review for a somewhat abbreviated version) but as a spoiler, I generally pick blue. This is never as true as it is in the Spring. I really dig the Lowe’s garden section. Not so much for plants(although I grew some artichokes from here a few seasons back) but definitely for the hardscape and soil stuff. Plus the layout is so much wider at this massive location, and I can park down by the garden area and never fight the cashier battle or parking battles that often come. I still like some of the local nurseries better for garden needs, but for a quick bag of this or block of that, ’tis the season to stop in to Lowe’s garden area.

Depending where I am when I remember I need to pick up home improvement stuff, I would most likely stop by this location due to convenience. It seems to be cleaner than other locations of the chain and the service quality seems to be average. I also had a hard time finding an employee with the knowledge to provide me with a solution. When compared to another chain store nearby, they have a better stock of electronic related equipment and finished products while lagging behind on tools and parts. For a clueless person like me, I would generally favor the location with the whole package, but finding someone with the right knowledge is just as important, which is why I enjoy my experience at the another chain’s location more.
