Aamco was the first place I went to because I knew they financed, they even towed my truck for free. They made the whole process of fixing my transmission easy. Todd the shop owner was very friendly made me feel at ease, will recommend to family and friends!

The technician who rebuilt my transmission did a great job. He took the time to explain the process to me and helped me learn about what the process entailed.
On the other hand, the office was not as impressive. They miscommunicated to me and each other, their paperwork did not match what actually occurred and then the manager tried to prod me to submit an electronic review at his desk the day I picked up my car before I even drove the vehicle.
On the technical side, I give them an A+
On the administrative side, I give them a C–

I had good experience with AAMCO, Sandy, UT. took my 97 F250 for ATF Powerflush, but Todd recommended a lower cost option (Safe guard) after his analysis. This reflects his honesty and it shows that cares about customers by making honest recommendation instead of guiding them to a higher cost works.

I’m sorry other people have had trouble with this place, my encounters have always been good. Todd the manager couldn’t get me in to fit my schedule in the morning so he schedule an apt. Late in the day which worked out good for me. My 4runner wouldn’t come out of park unless you use the special release button every time. It took them a half an hr to diagnose the problem and fix it. Who knew, an electrical short. Thanks guys! Todd said it was a simple fix and there would be no charge for the repair. Made my day! They have also worked on my brothers vehicles and he has been satisfied with their work as well. In my opinion regarding the bad reviews, you can’t please everyone.

The manager is a joke. His customer service and communication skills are laughable and he’s secured my decision to never use this location for any repairs on my vehicle. I hate saying this, but I don’t really want anyone to get as frustrated as I was with this guy.
