Awesome place! Been trying to find a decent barber in my area for a year now and I think I’m set. Chase cut my hair and she really knows her stuff. Atmosphere is friendly and down to earth as well.

Chase was awesome. One of the biggest things about her that I love is she RESPECTS PEOPLE’S TIME.
One of the biggest things that infuriates me about the «black beauty experience» is to book an appointment with a stylist — then you get there and she has 3 — 4 — sev’n other people booked at the same time as you, and then she’s also taking walk ins when you’re sitting under the dryer and seeing the devil.
Chase does NONE of that. You have one on one attention with her. I went in for a basic cut (I’m damn near bald right now) and I was in and out in 10 — 15 minutes. Chase is very friendly and personable. As long as I’m rocking this short cut, she’ll be my barber. Plus she’s in my hood.

I tend to be a diy kind of guy when it comes to my haircut, but Chase earned a new customer! Shop had a cozy feeling and a super convenient location, but most importantly I walked out looking like a million bucks. I will be back here in about 3 weeks to start a new routine!

Easy to find, awesome experience. My son who is visiting ATL needed a fade and clean up. We were «walk-in’s» and was greeted nicely. Waited about 5 minutes then Chase took care of everything. Immediately you can see she is very skilled and likes what she does. Very efficient and pleasant experience.

Chase is so darn amazing. She managed to me in 5 mins earlier than my scheduled appointment time and took her time to make sure my eyebrows were perfect. She did a better job than some of the pricey eye brow services I have gotten at spas in the past. She has found a regular in me.

I really enjoy coming to The Pit Stop Barbershop. It is such a down home experience. I feel comfortable in knowing that my needs will be met with a smile and quality service. Chase (the owner) does my eyebrows on a biweekly basis and not only does she keeps them arched but she is helping them grow better. Called here looking for a cut late in the evening. Chase answered the phone and decided to wait on me which was very cool. The atmosphere was very unique with its artsy garage theme.
Chase (the owner) was very friendly and personable in person which always adds to a great experience in any barbershop! She’s an appointment type barber but made an exception for me today! She got brownie points for that.
Good thing about this place location-​wise is that it’s seconds from the highway and conveniently located by the same place I go to for oil changes! Haha who would’ve knew?! Anyway, the cut was great and my barber took her time to get it right. I’ll be returning. I’ve been to 4 different barbers in the city and she’s the 2^nd one I found that was nice with it!

Quick turn around, friendly, reasonably priced & and they did exactly what I wanted.

First off, I travel for work. I’ve had my hair cut many different places and by many different people, and I was extremely happy with my experience here. Abdul cut my hair and gave me a straight razor line too, and did an awesome job. I talked with Chase as well (the owner, a former U.S. Armed forces member) and she was super nice, fun, and made the experience super enjoyable. $ 20 for a very clean haircut with fun people. I’ll pay that all day

One of the best barbershop experiences I have ever had. The owner and all other barbers spoke to me immediately upon arrival and made me feel at home. This is a family friendly barbershop. The atmosphere is always positive. Everyone is very professional. The owner has been cutting my hair for 3 years now and she is the best barber I have ever been to. The location is perfect. I take full advantage of the local restaurants and shops whenever I go. I highly recommend this barbershop to anyone in the metro Atlanta area.

Whenever work brings me to Sandy Springs, I make sure to hit up my girl Chase for a cut. She always takes good care of me and makes sure I leave looking right.

I love The Pit Stop for so many reasons but I’ll start off by saying I’m obviously not a man so I really wasn’t prepared to even go into the shop.
However, when I was walking into the place next door I saw the owner outside talking to one of her client’s and I thought his hair looked really good (I have a brother in law who CANNOT find a good barber) so I walked up to her and asked if she had done his hair and she quickly said yes and introduced herself as Chase — we started talking and before I knew it I was inside getting my eyebrows done! She’s awesome, very personable, and most importantly she did a great job on my eyebrows (and I’m VERY picky).
I also love how it feels in there — very comfortable and not stuffy at all. I’ll definitely be back for sure. Thanks Chase!

I decided to patronize this shop as my regular barber had suddenly gone missing, and I was already going to be in the area.
The shop is located along the busy stretch of Roswell Road that would cause a nun to lose her marbles at times. So, it’s best not to try making a left turn onto Carpenter Drive during the typical busy hours. Come the other way!
My barber was Saddiq. His cut style felt confident so I didn’t feel the need to carefully inspect it before leaving. Although his styling tool was too sharp or faulty because when I got home, the back of my neck was red and on fire… it was also inflamed. Upon closer inspection, brought on by my neck, I noticed that my lines weren’t as smooth and flowing as my typical barber. On a quasi positive note, the fade down he did was decent albeit not as short as I really wanted.
As I was leaving, I was informed that the cut was $ 20 but I later found out from some others that the pricing is different for everyone. So, that’s the reason for my two-​star rating. Yeah, it’s not a pocket destroyer, but why pay more this day and age when almost every single shop in the area charges $ 15, and some even $ 10? There isn’t anything stellar or above and beyond about this shop… so unless you’re one of their special clients that is privy to their special pricing, skip this place and find another shop.
I also quite liked the sarcastic comment from the other barber, «You must not get your hair cut?»
Actually, I do. And all the shops I’ve been to… from Washington Heights to Washington, DC and from Little Havana to Atlanta’s Lindbergh neighborhood have all charged the same price of $ 15 or lower.

This place is great!!! We are from out of town and we came across this place on here. Everyone is very personable, the place is nice and clean and my boys were very happy with their cuts. We’ll be back for sure! Highly recommend!

I have been going to this barber shop for at least 2 years now and I never realized they have a Unilocal account. The shop is located right off of Roswell road when you get off 285. It’s on the opposite side of Ruth Chris Steakhouse and next door to a hair salon.
As soon as you walk into the shop, everyone is warm and friendly. I love having a welcoming environment when I go into the barber shop. That’s what keeps me coming back for more. The shop is always clean and well lit. There’s an ATM machine inside and even vending machines. if you aren’t sure what style cut you want, there are magazines full of options that the barbers can recreate.
Chase has been my barber and she is AMAZING! She does a great job for a very reasonable price. Her work is worth thousands so I’m glad that I can go in and get my hair cut for a fraction of that. Often times, I don;t know what style I want for my beard or my hair and I just ask her to freestyle. She never lets me down. She’s friendly, relatable and funny. I work in the area so sometimes I just come on my lunch break and go back to work a new man!
I highly recommend this shop and Chase in particular. Everyone does a great job so if Chase was gone for an extended time i’d feel comfortable hopping in an chair. They can cut any hair type so it doesn’t matter what race you are. Next time I go back I’ll be sure to take some pictures of the shop.
