Q Nails and Spa

I’ve only been to Q Nails once, a couple of weeks ago — I decided to try it (after moving to Sandy Springs from Canton) based all the great reviews.
I wasn’t disappointed! It was very crowded for a Tuesday evening, because they’d been closed the day before for Memorial Day, but they had plenty of techs on hand to handle the crowd. It’s a well-​maintained nail salon, with more color choices for polish, gel and SNS than I have ever seen. The racks of polish were completely organized, by color, so it was easy to find the color family I wanted and pick the right shade for my pedicure.
I started using SNS several months ago, and finding a salon with techs that are very experienced was a major concern — again, not disappointed! My nails were beautiful and they helped me choose a great color!
I was lucky enough to have Ming for my spa pedicure — for a variety of reasons I hadn’t been able to keep to a regular scheduled in several weeks and my feet were horrible. She took her time, recommended a fantastic goopy, jelly-​like product to soak my feet in — by the time she finished, my feet were beautiful again!
It’s time to go back and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

The staff have a lot going on here. Don’t come unless you’ve got time to spare. They have a huge lack of concern for anyone with special requests.
I was told one moment someone was on the way to be with me and 15 min went by. I was than told later about the check in offer on Unilocal and to write a review. I did and was than told it’s only for new customers. I’ve been here a total of 4 times and never used this offer. So I’m sad to say this business is very misleading and I will share the news on that going forward.

When I left this place I thought the experience was great the workers were great and the hostess was on top of every customer making sure they were helped as soon as they walked in the door. The only bad thing that I can say is I did get a fungus under my toe from a pedicure that I received here. I’ve never had one before and it’s not that bad, but apparently this location isn’t very clean. I’ve been getting pedicures for a long time and have never had any type of fungus until now. Ladies enter at your own risk.

Decent salon but not the best I’ve been to. It was really loud and there was a lot of yelling amongst the workers which was weird. Also they didn’t have massage chairs BUT that do give a little massage. I got a basic pedi and gel manicure which were good. Overall it was good but not super relaxing like I wanted.

The customer service by the manager is excellent. The 10 day guarantee is nice as well.
The work they do however, is awful.
I went back after a week due to bubbles and knicks on every nail. The manager was more than happy to have them fix the work. 4 days later my nails look awful, once again. My gel sets usually last 3 – 4 weeks. Clearly I will not be back.

Called for an appointment and a well spoken man named Brian answered the phone. Set an appointment for almost that minute and went in.
Let me tell you, this salon does a great job and QUICK. I led to a pedi chair almost immediately. The chair was super uncomfortable, but I may not have adjusted the settings right. I didn’t have time, they did my fill and pedi before I could even move it! Kidding, but they were fast.
I had a really nice man doing my nails. I just need a fill and some gel color and they looked good, but he totally missed my cuticles and my nails look a little rough if you look closely. If you don’t, they’re fabulous!
At the same time that I was getting my fill, I was getting my pedicure. It went quickly and looked great, I was so pleased!
I messed my polish up on my feet and called Brian back. He said they have a 10 day no-​questions-​asked policy, which is so great.
This salon has more polish colors and gel choices than you have ever seen in your life. It’s big and has plenty of techs so I doubt you’ll ever be waiting here.
Brian is super cute and interesting. He is a great conversationlist and very interested in keeping clients happy. I highly recommend this very cool salon!

Extremely clean!!! I’m OCD so I was thoroughly pleased with the service and quality! I will definitely be back. and the wait wasn’t long at all!

I came in around 4:30pm and I was greeted promptly and picked out my nail color then owner I’m assuming seated me for my pedicure. Every thing was fine until I had to wait 30 extra minutes after I was seated for my pedicure to start mind you my water got cold in those 30 mins and and also they have a piece that allows for the bubbles for your pedicure mines fell of and had to be reattached twice. So finally my nail tech name Helen starts every thing going okay and towards the end she smudges my polish and it gets messed up, instead of Her removing the polish she paints over it … And I physically asked her twice to take off the polish and do it over and the third it clicks in her head and she goes ahead to redo it. This is my first time I would not come back I’ve been to much better nail spa in Atlanta and it seems like my nail tech and owner are lazy when it comes to there customers.

Great service! Especially if you have the luck of the draw and get Tom, Kim, or Lee, who are all excellent. I have only had one technician who I did not like here and I am sure to avoid her each time.

Just moved to the ATL and found mah place for a Medi/​Pedi!
Pleasantly surprised that 2 people were working on my hands and feet– AT THE SAME TIME and I was in and out in 45 minutes. Ask for YaYa and Helen– they will get it done!
Great atmosphere, amazing customer service and super clean. Win/​Win in my book– def give them a try!

This place is great. I walked in 15 minutes before they closed tonight thinking I would need to beg them to take me this late and it wasn’t even a question… GREAT customer service and thank you!
They also have a huuuuge collection of sns colors.

The place has nice big chairs for those of us on the taller side, but the massage pads were worn out. The lady who waxed my brows over waxed them after I specifically asked her not too. The young man who did my feet did a horrible job. My heels were still rough and my toes do not look good at all. I guess I’ll get in the tub and do them myself. What a waste of funds.
Jan did my daughter’s mani pedi. It looks great. She really took her time and my nine year old looks fantastic.
I will not be going back.

My first time visiting this nail salon was yesterday and I would give it 10 stars if I could! I went on a Friday afternoon (which we all know is like one of the busiest times to go anywhere) and they took me right away. Andy did my gel manicure & Summer did my pedicure. They took their time and they are also very personable. Also try the signature Pedi, it comes with a foot mask ! Like what ! I had never even heard of that, but whatever they did it felt AWESOME ! Also they give you discount cards for 30% off your 5^th Visit ! What nail salon does that? And I also received 10% off of my mani +pedi because I was a first timer, and they give you a complimentary neck/​shoulder massage when you’re all finished ! Way to keep me coming back because I LOVE THIS PLACE !

I did a walk-​in and got taken within 10mins of being there. Staff is very friendly and personable. Cherry did an awesome job on my nails!!! I always have a problem with peeling chipping within 2 – 3 days of my manicure because of my frequent hand wash at work and so far so good!
Min was awesome and gave me exactly what I asked for when waxing my eyebrows!!!

Great nail salon in Sandy Springs. Located in a shopping strip next to Sally’s Bakery and Egg Harbor Café, this nail salon is easily one of the best in the area. Extremely clean, they line all the spa tubs and sanitize all the nail equipment and the owners are very friendly and professional. Not sure about Tom calling everyone «baby» but he does listen to what you want and translates it to the nail tech. All nail techs are very skilled and great at their craft. I had Linda today and she gave me my first gel set of coffin nails. Along with a regular pedicure, the total was $ 75 plus tip. I’m in love with how gorgeous they came out!

Needed a new nail salon after moving. I had tried about three other salons in my area before finding Q nails on Unilocal!It’s about 20 minutes drive from my house, which is a lot further than I’m used to traveling for a nail salon. However, it is so worth it because I don’t have to worry about the quality of work. I have been to Yaya twice for SNS! I had a horrible gel powder set from another salon and she introduced me to the SNS nails. She took the old gel set off and gave me the best SNS set ever, it was thin and perfect! No bulkiness or lumpiness whatsoever! Cici did my pedicure, the massage was epic! SNS and pedicure was $ 60 total and well worth it!

They were very accommodating when I was almost an hour late to my appointment. I had a specific nail design in mind and they were able to deliver! They did an awesome job as well. I’ve had my gel nails for 3 weeks and they are still going strong!
However, I do think I was overcharged… Almost paid $ 72 for gel mani w/​deisgn and regular pedi (including a 20% discount Unilocal check-​in). At first I was quoted $ 10 extra for the design element, but when I got to the register they charged me even more. I was in a rush and they were busy and I didn’t want to hold up the line so I just paid for it without speaking with the nail technician who told me the initial cost.
I probably will come again, but make sure I am not overpaying for my services next time.

Q Nails has definitely become my new go-​to nail salon for so many reasons. My first review of this place was definitely a fluke. Every time since, I’ve had consistent service which is why I’m overdue for an update.
The main reason I like coming to Q Nails is that they keep everything clean: pre-​packaged and sanitized tools, plastic liners on their foot tubs, no toxic smells and it’s a big open space so it doesn’t feel claustrophobic. The next thing I like is their 20% off deal if you stop by between 9:30−12 on Mon through Thurs. I usually don’t have to wait.
I don’t get manicures because I prefer to keep my nails plain and short, but I do come here often for pedicures. The deluxe pedi (the most basic one) gets me in and out in an hour, but if I want to do a little more, their signature pedi is just right. I had one of my better pedicures today with Sandy who definitely paid extra attention to removing calluses. Also, I like that when it came to do the foot/​leg mask, she didn’t apply it all the way up to my shins, just up to my ankles AND I didn’t get burned by the hot towel applied afterwards. I’ll probably start asking this from now on if I choose the signature pedi. Amy is probably my next favorite person there for her massages. When making an appointment, you can specify which nail tech you’d like to book, however I almost always just walk in.

Fairly new owners who just got this place about a year ago. It’s constantly busy and the owner Tom is very nice. I was greeted and accommodated to my time constraint and they got me in and out efficiently.
SPA PEDICURE
I opted to stay a bit longer because Amy, the girl who did my pedicure is surprisingly strong for such a small woman. Her massages are just amazing. She uses sugar scrub to exfoliate your legs and then a bamboo stick to massage your legs. Honestly I think it’s one of the best foot/​leg massages I’ve had at a pedicure in a loooooong time. Finish off with a hot towel. The best part, all of this is included in the regular Spa pedicure price $ 25.

Amy does a great gel manicure and she’s extremely efficient and precise.
COLORS
lots of good opi colors in front and along the walls.
