this buffet is over the top for sure. I was in the ATL over the weekend and we went here for dinner. I thought I was going to explode. I could not stop going back to get more. Sushi & Sashimi were both good. all the cooked dishes I had were great too. the dumplings, I couldnt get enough of. I would go backin a heart beat and take anyone who has never been.

I can’t say enough great things about Nori Nori! I don’t rate too many establishments a five but this rating is well deserved due to its variety of fresh sushi, seafood, and Asian dishes. The place also has an Hibachi grill(only on select nights) for those craving teriyaki or steak. Also, plenty of cooked vs raw sushi options, and dessert bar with green tea ice cream. My personal favorite was the seaweed salad. Overall, there is something delicious in store for everyone at Nori Nori whether you enjoy seafood, sushi, steak, Asian fusion or simply dessert!

Praise the sushi gods because they seriously #blessed ATL with one of the BEST sushi joints known to mankind. I came here with a couple of friends during my last visit to Atlanta and did not want to leave(well, almost couldn’t because of my food baby). This place has an assortment of not only sushi, but Japanese and a bit of Chinese dishes. Unlike most AYCE locations, Nori Nori definitely puts both time and effort into making quality food. From crab legs to oysters to some bomb ass salads to their endless variety of sushi rolls and sashimi, you will not be disappointed one bit. I would recommend trying to eat the cooked dishes first because once you start with the actual sushi, it’s almost game over. You might have to be a bit strategic about the rolls you get because they have a WIDE selection. I tried to sample one of each and almost died. After inhaling all the yummy goodness my stomach literally wanted to explode. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so pregnant in my life. Walking out, I seriously was in labor and had aching pains from all the food I inhaled in 45 minutes. Five plates of food… in 45 minutes. This is five stars for me. tl;dr — If you’re in the area and craving sushi, splurge a little and get ready for the most enjoyable meals you’ll ever devour.

Came into Nori Nori for dinner last week and was totally impressed by the selection available! There is something for everyone, including those that are not sushi fans. The highlight for me in terms of sushi was the sashimi selection. I dont like to fill up on rice from rolls too quickly, so I appreciated getting to load up on fish before hitting the roll area. My favorite cooked item was the salmon neck. Yes, it might sound strange to some, but it was basically like the cheek of the salmon(aka…super flavorful and melt in your mouth). For dessert there is soft serve, pastries, and even a crêpe station. The best part was the green tea soft serve! You cant find that just anywhere. After a couple of plates with friends we were stuffed and totally satisfied. It is worth the price considering the quality of food. I was full well into the next day!

Six years later and this place is still pretty good, except they have an odd height requirement that they set the price by? The food was mostly as delicious as I remembered, and I like the addition of udon soup specialized and made to order, but there was no unagi?! And the cuts of fish weren’t as good or as fresh looking as they used to be, although still tasty. The green tea ice cream is a nice addition although they need to add some options for toppings. It also didn’t help that we killed a bug on the wall behind us. It’s not a bad lunch option especially for a large group, and this is still the only ayce sushi buffet that I would get excited about.

An authentic and delicious value! I’ve been to Nori Nori several times for both lunch and dinner and each time has been great! The service is attentive, friendly and consistent. Our table was clean upon arrival, our drinks and refills came quickly, and our plates were quickly cleared, too. The quality of this food is incomparable! It is always fresh and full of favor. From soups to salads, sushi to sashimi, stir fry to desserts, it’s all made with fresh quality products.

Nori Nori is great. It’s the only all-you-can-eat buffet-style sushi/Japanese restaurant that I like(I typically don’t like buffet-style dining). I popped in one day for lunch and I’m so glad that I did. The food is phenomenal. I was particularly impressed with the efficiency of the chefs. They smiled and engaged customers as the replenished the food. All of the food stations were well stocked with a wide variety of choices. This is definitely one of those spots you should go to when you are super hungry or if you just have a huge appetite in general. Pros: great food, awesome service, ample parking, great for groups

Nori Nori is a popular all you can eat sushi/Japanese buffet located in Sandy Springs. It has made a name for itself with the variety and quality of food, and is my go-to spot when I’m in the mood for sushi and feeling extremely hungry. However, the most recent time I ate here was slightly disappointing. The variety was impressive as always, but I felt that the quality had fallen off. I started off with sashimi, a couple of rolls, and crawfish. The fish seemed fresh, but everything was bland and lacked flavor. I must say though, that we arrived about an hour before closing time, which might have been a reason why the quality wasn’t what I was expecting. Despite this experience, I will definitely be returning. The staff is always courteous and helpful, and the servers are always quick to clear dirty plates and refill water. $ 20 for lunch and $ 27 for dinner is definitely worth the value as well. The lunch offering has mostly the same items, minus some of the more premium seafood items such as crab legs and oysters and the made to order hibachi. Had my most recent experience not been disappointing, Nori Nori would definitely be 5 stars in my book.

I’ve tried several times to eat at this location. But each time I’ve gone they were closed or closing for one reason or another but today I had the honor of actually getting inside and checking it out. There was much hype about this location is being the best sushi place in Atlanta so we were excited to get a chance to try it out. The staff was very friendly and was the highlight of the experience. They were very attentive and took care of anything I needed. The only negative I would say is when I came in they were trying to tell me how little time I had left until they took up all the food. The door guy was almost trying to sell me on not coming in for lunch even though I had over an hour to eat — in the end it took me about 15 minutes. The sushi selection was decent and I tried as many pieces as possible for each plate some of them were extremely weird and I am an experienced sushi eater all over the world I have tried nearly everything imaginable. Also just so you are aware the tempura shrimp are the entire shrimp, head to tail and complete shells, deep fried with batter over it so when you bite into it you quickly realize this is a peel and eat style. Why they would coat it with an abundance of batter and fry it is a mystery to me. Overall I would rate the sushi as over-hyped as it wasn’t as good as I expected for such a talked about place definitely not the best in Atlanta. What I do think the cool was the different Japanese salads entire bar section that was allocated just for different salad types. I would say this is the more adventurous side of the sushi bar. I also like the large selection of prepared fish items they had an entire section was also dedicated for fish dishes. So my rating goes as such; Service: A Sushi Selection: B Sushi Taste: C Cleanliness: A+ Overall Experience: C+

My honey and I came here for her birthday dinner on this trip(we came for my birthday two years back, and then I came for my friends birthday a time before that). It’s kind of hard to spot, in the shopping center with LA Fitness, on the corner of Abernathy and Roswell rd. Tons of parking available. When you walk in, you’ll notice a sea of tables that are pretty much filled. It’s also about 75% Asian, so you know the food is decent. It’s basically a sushi buffet, and you better come hungry! The cost for dinner is $ 29.95/person. Not cheap but cheap if you can pound sushi! This place makes Ru Sans look mediocre. They have everything: sushi, sashimi, crab legs(which you’ll notice are cleaned out as soon as they put fresh ones out), oysters, rolls, fruit, yogurt, crêpe station, desserts, various noodle dishes, salads, skewers, wings, grill station … Basically you can eat yourself silly. For a buffet, the sushi is surprisingly fresh. I’ve yet to come up with a complaint other than pricing. For sure, a must try and they are great for large parties!

What a selection, it’s like the never ending sushi buffet. They offer a huge assortment of sushi rolls, a little sashimi, oysters, crabs, Chinese food, and on and on. Great place if you have a big appetite.

My first time here(January 2016). Not bad, not bad at all. I definitely got full fast! DIRECTIONS/PARKING: it’s in a huge center(conveniently near LA Fitness). Coming from 400, Google Maps told me to turn on Roswell… Don’t. Enter from Abernathy entrance. Nori Nori’s entrance faces inside the center so it’ll feel like you’re parking towards the corner of the shopping center. Everyone has different taste buds, so I’ll let you guys figure that part out. I say the food was delicious and the restaurant was clean. Udon noodles/soup is located close to the entrance at this sort of staffed station. There wasn’t an exact flow that people were moving in. The desserts were OK but not something I’d save space for the next time I go. Although the sushi was good and there was plenty to choose from, the lunch buffet didn’t appear to have some of the special sushi rolls that you could find elsewhere. Oh well. If you can eat a lot of sushi, then definitely try this place out!

I came here with my friends on Sunday night for dinner at around 7p. It was pretty busy but with 6 in our party, we were able to get seated in about 15 – 20 minutes. This place is pretty big so it is able to accommodate a decent amount of people. Pricing without tax or drinks: Weekday Lunch(Mon-Friday) — $ 17.50 Weekend Lunch(Sat/Sun/Holidays) — $ 20.50 Weekday Dinner(Mon-Thur) — $ 26.95 Weekend Dinner(Fri-Sun/Holidays) — $ 29.95 There is a huge selection from stir fry, soups, rolls, sushi, sashimi, seafood(crab/oysters, shrimp), salad, hot foods, and desserts. I like the variety of foods they offer, but most of the food are alright in quality — not exceptional but good enough for all-you-can-eat standards. It was a little sneaky of them to put a lot of carbs in things like shumai(mostly dough with itty bitty of shrimp) and thin noodles into the seaweed salad, but I get it… They don’t want you to eat their restaurant broke. I ate a decent amount of sashimi and sushi and enjoyed their matcha ice cream and crêpe station though. Can’t say no to dessert!

Gross. Sushi buffet? Against my better judgement I went after a few friends told me to lighten up and go fishing. There was really nothing redeeming about this place. The sushi was not good. The other dishes were also not good. Service was weak and the place just didn’t feel all that clean. Oh and the price is high too. My mother always said never say never. Well mom, I’ll never be back to this one. Leaves more for the rest of you.

I really don’t like buffets but if your looking for one this is probably one of the better ones in Atlanta. Nori Nori is heavily Japanese influenced with a large array of sushi varieties though none particularly stand out. Quality of sushi is okay, it’s definitely quantity over quality here. Lunch buffet has less options than dinner, hibachi station and crêpe station only available for dinner. Weekday lunch is around $ 18 and weekend lunch is $ 21. Kids depending on height is from half off adult price to 1⁄5 for those under 4 ft and free for the shorties under 3 ft. Dinner is around $ 30. Salad station included Kim chi, cucumber salad, Caesar salad and a few other interesting options. Hot items vary from fish to sweet and sour chicken to crab balls to teriyaki beef skewers. Although I wasn’t completely impressed with the hot selection, I’m sure you’ll find something you’ll like. Desert choices are are limited though they do offer green tea ice cream. Overall it’s just OK for me, I just don’t think the quality is there but as I’ve said Nori Nori is one of the better buffets. Service is friendly and plates always cleared. Bonus is it’s located in the same parking lot as LA fitness so you can head over for a work out to burn off those calories.

I rave and rave and rave all the time to my friends here in Cali about how FANTASTIC this sushi buffet is. Oh my goodness, y’all! We were the first people to walk in for dinner one night and lucky us, we got the freshest sushi and first dibs on errrrrything! Presentation? Awesome. Taste and flavor? No other buffet has beat it yet and it’s been 3 years since I’ve had it. Service? Not much service for a buffet besides being seated, drink and the bill, but it was okay. Nothing outstanding. Dessert? I mean, come on. You go to a sushi restaurant to eat sushi, not dessert. Don’t expect anything fancy shmancy. Crabs! Oh the crab legs! They were pretty good. They were juicy and had a good amount of meat in them. I’m just waiting to take a trip back to ATL just so that I can eat here again!

Nori Nori update. Unfortunately, I think the quality of the food here has trended downward over the last 2 – 3 years. What was once one of my favorite sushi buffets is now becoming simply mediocre. The restaurant is cutting costs and it shows. Only the cheapest fish are used for sushi(e.g. tuna, salmon, yellowtail). No longer can we use tongs to grab several slices of sashimi. Instead, sashimi is served on tiny plates, one slice per plate. Oysters are limited to three per plate, snow crab legs five per plate. I can’t blame them for that — offering oysters and snow crab legs on a buffet is costly. However, the snow crab legs have very little meat and the oysters are small. Admittedly, prices have remained the same over the years: about $ 20+ for lunch and $ 30+ for dinner per person. They haven’t made any adjustments for increased food or operational costs(if any), or inflation. Dinner is the best time to go because there are more dishes. At the aforementioned prices, Nori Nori was a solid value. Today, I’m not so sure. The sushi rice is bad and that’s a problem. It’s approaching, dare I say, Ru San’s level sushi rice. Dense, hard, chewy. The unagi isn’t as good as it used to be. It’s got a pasty, unappetizing consistency. The sushi is sufficiently fresh. There are rolls aplenty, colorful and pleasing to the eye. I’m not a roll person and prefer traditional nigiri(fish over rice) and sashimi(slices of raw fish). The nigiri selection is average. The tobiko(flying fish roe) wrapped in seaweed is probably my favorite of the nigiri. The salads and cooked foods are so-so. I’ve always liked the seaweed salad and still do. The hijiki(Asian brown sea vegetable) salad is good too. Mussels are a win and the beef tataki, salmon tataki(in cilantro sauce), and izumidai(Japanese snapper) with tomato are fine as well. Examples of cooked foods include yakisoba noodles, Korean BBQ beef short ribs, salmon collar, and breaded shrimp. The«robata» grill and crêpe station are still going strong. You can get made-to-order food at the robata grill such as a bowl of udon noodles. The crepes are still on point. The fruits are ripe. Strawberry, blueberry, banana, and more. Chocolate, whipped cream, customize it however you want. Other desserts include sliced fruit, yogurt, jello, and cookies. There’s a soft serve ice cream machine located in front of the crêpe station. It’s got two flavors, vanilla and green tea. I like them both, though fair warning: the green tea ice cream isn’t super sweet and has a slightly bitter finish. Service is great. The restaurant is popular, especially on weekends, and they are adequately staffed to handle the demand. Reservations are only accepted for parties of 10 or more. Parties of 60 or more are eligible for a group discount. Bottom line: Nori Nori still has one of the best sushi buffets in Atlanta. It just isn’t as good as it used to be.

Unexpected fantastic Japanese buffet! For just $ 30 for dinner, Nori Nori offers hibashi, sushi, sashimi(fish and meat), raw oyster, and about 10 different hot like salmon, short ribs, claims, craw fish etc This is definitely one of the best valued buffet I have ever been. Quality was the food was ok. Everything was fresh, the hot dishes ware amazing. My only negative comment is that they didn’t refill the raw stuff fast enough, the oysters were gone in seconds every time they refiled them. To improve, I believe the fish sashimi can be presented in a better way, like in plates, than what they have now, serving a varieties of slices in sauce plates for people to pick from. In conclusion, there were way too many options. I couldn’t try everything and I will definitely go back!

My favorite place. It never fails. The service is awesome and the food excellent. I love the crawfish they serve. They have to be the biggest crawfish I have ever had. I love it! I eat here once a week without missing. The way the place is ran by the management is impressive. When I grow up, I hope I can run my business the same day one day. :)) I highly recommend this place! You will be addicted !!
