Enjoyed our stay. Very clean and pet friendly. Lots of room in the back to walk the dog and convenient to shops and restaurants. Clean pool and hot tub area. Kitchen open all night for a beverage. Nice to get 10% off BBC meal next store. Would definitely recommend especially if you have a pet!

Stayed for a week and had no complaints. Our microwave broke and they replaced it right away with a brand new one. The place could use some updating and maybe a better selection for breakfast but overall it was a nice stay and a great location. Everything you need is only a 5−10minute drive away.

My husband and I stayed for our second time this weekend. The woman at the front desk was very kind and informative. The room was clean, though unbearable hot and stuffy. There were a couple of hairs on the shower wall but everything else seemed to be neat and clean. My biggest complaint was the lack of control in their pool area. I have no problem with people having a good time, as we were as well. There was a large party with a few children. These children were constantly going into the hot tub, despite the signs saying no children under 16 allowed. I also had to call the front desk at 2:15 am asking for the crowd at the pool (outside our room) to be quieted diwn, since they were still partying hard!

I recently stayed at the Sandwich Lodge & Resort and had an excellent experience. I booked on somewhat short notice (3 days notice for a mid-​June weekend). I called directly and the person I spoke to was friendly, helpful, polite and took the time to discuss their different rooms and one that would be most suitable. Upon arrival the property was lovely, the person at the desk friendly and helpful, and my room was great. I had been given a 2^nd floor, corner room in the back that was, in a word, huge. It was spotless, and looked like it had recently been redecorated (stylish new carpet, and attractive new bedspreads). Everything was clean and the bed and linens soft and comfortable. My room was quiet and despite many other guests I never heard anyone save for normal hall traffic during normal hours. I’ll admit I like a coffeemaker in a room, but coffee/​tea is available 24hrs in the lobby which is fine. Parking in the back near the alternate entrance was easy and convenient. I didn’t bring a pet but think it’s great they have some rooms that are pet friendly. I felt I got a good rate for a summer weekend on the Cape. I had a wonderful experience here and will certainly come back.

Do not book at the Lodge! My girlfriend and I recently stayed here for the first time as we were in town for a wedding on August 9^th. Our room was terrible: there were numerous cigarette holes in the blankets, dark stains on the sheets, and the room reeked like air freshener trying to cover something up. The smell was so bad, the chemicals used in whatever spray they had gave my friend hives/​we both woke up feeling cloudy/​sneezing from the smell. We had the room for another night, and asked for a refund given the hives/​it seemed they used the same «cleaning» agent in all the rooms, but they said «it wasn’t their policy». Since it’s not our policy to stay at a place that makes us feel so ill, we definitely don’t recommend staying here. One exception: the bar next door has killer buffalo dip and a sassy bar staff which (almost) makes up for the horrible Lodge experience.

We stayed here with a kids team. Is it your normal chain hotel, absolutely not, but we knew that going in, so my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised with a lot of it. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Some of it looked as though it was recently updated/​renovated. The largest downside to this place is the acoustics. The floors and walls are paper thin. We could hear walking, talking, jumping, and many other sounds through the FLOORS, let alone the conversations we heard in the hallways. The other thing that bothered me was the checkout procedure. At most places, you can request a late checkout and they say thank you. Here, we requested a late checkout so our teams could get ready for their competition and we were told $ 20/​hour late. So I agreed to one hour. I watched her note the time in their system, yet the housekeepers were still banging on the door at the normal checkout time to see if we were leaving. When we did finally check out after the extended time, the housekeepers followed us up to the room to check the room and make sure we were truly leaving.
Another item on the positive side was the British Beer Company next door. Not affiliated to the Lodge, but they offer guests a 10% discount for showing your room key. The food was excellent, and the service great, but I’ll review them on their page. I did want to point out though that it was a positive to staying with this Lodge.
Overall, if I ask myself if I would come back, it would be a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ toss up. I might look around for others, just to experience what else is around, but I wouldn’t hesitate to use this as a fall back guarantee either.

Rooms are huge but very old. Friendly staff. Breakfast in the morning does not have a good selection.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. We paid $ 150 per night and there was a 2 night minimum. We booked here because we were on the Cape for a Wedding.
Customer Service: we had many problems with our room and the hotel staff never got back to us on any of the issues or returned our calls.
Hotel Room: we requested a king bed when we booked (5 months early) and when we arrived we had a room with two full beds. The sheets on the bed had holes in them, the shelf in the bathroom was held up with duck tape, the shower was moldy and it did not drain, the room smelled of mildew, the iron was rusted and the ironing board cover was moldy.
I would not recommend staying here because I am sure you can find some other hotel for the same price or a little more and have a hotel that takes care of their rooms and cares about their guests. This hotel was awful. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We used a coupon found in one of those traveler books found at rest stops along the highway last March and chose this place because we were able to grab the room for $ 30. It turned out to be a great decision. The staff was very helpful and had coinage for us to buy to do some much needed laundry, the room was very large and clean. Super conveniently located across the street from a grocery store as well as a liquor store (yay!). The British Beer Co across the parking lot is something you can skip (if you’re eating) but that’s definitely not the hotel’s fault. In room fridge was large enough to hold whatever we needed, and I seem to recall a very large tv as well. We were able to choose to have our room with outside parking lot access instead of being in the big boxy portion of the main part of the hotel (I prefer private access where I don’t feel I have to say hi to the desk folks all the time).
Comfy king sized bed, and lots of amenities for folks vacationing during the high season. Breakfast was included and contained the usual suspects: yogurt, bagels, cereal, etc, but again, great for $ 30.

We stayed in the rooms that allowed pets… they are disgusting. I think housekeeping does a good job of keeping the bathroom clean, but the flooring and the bedding NEEDS to be updated. I think the bathroom linoleum has been there since the 70’s. The place smelled like a wet dog. I’m glad we only stayed one night. It was totally NOT worth the $ 130 we paid. YUCK! Having a pet shouldn’t mean you have to sleep in a hell hole.

Just came back. Stayed there for a soccer tournament with team. Place has gone down hill. Mold on ceilings, Bugs in room. Rugs dirty and smelly, toilets didn’t work, this was just to name a few things in some rooms. Outdoor pool dirty when asket about cleaning we were told maintenance gone for weekend. Ceiling leaking in loby and game room. Told sorry happens when hot? Really? Place should be shut down by health department. Our entire team checked out it was just dirty. Please there are several motels/​hotels along same road for same price if you are booking in area you shoud consider those first!

I booked this place through Expedia (Name Your Own Price) for only $ 85 for a Friday night, and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t expecting much out of this place, but the lodge is well equipped with amenities. They have a mini arcade (good for children), an indoor pool and sauna, as well as an outdoor pool. The room was also spacious (I got a king sized bed), clean, had a mini kitchen, mini fridge and microwave — shoot it was almost like a studio. The staff was friendly, and the place is close to everything you need — Stop and Stop, CVS, liquor store, etc. They also threw in a complimentary Continental breakfast from 6−10am but I wasn’t awake to have it.
Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay overnight for a mini getaway to Cape Cod.

Two double beds. Small fridge. Micro microwave. Newly carpeted and painted. Clean. Not overly expensive. Close to Plymouth and the Western-​Cape golf courses.

Stayed here for a Baseball tourney and for that, it was just fine. Had a standard room with 2 double beds, small fridge and the smallest microwave I have ever seen; but worked fine for Hot Pockets and other snacks for the kids. It has 2 pools and an average continential breakfast and is conveniently located near the Canal, liquor store, Stop and Shop and for us, near the baseball field.
