1750 Inn at Sandwich Center

On our weekend stay in Cape Cod we could not have asked for a better bed and breakfast. Jan and Charlie were absolutely amazing.
Our room was spotless and really had a summer beachy feel with a beautiful balcony. Every morning we woke up to a delicious breakfast cooked and served by Jan and Charlie. Breakfast included a Greek yogurt parfait with fresh fruit and granola as well as a delicious baked egg sandwich one morning and French toast another morning.
In the evening there was a variety of wines to choose from and freshly baked cookies as well as coffee and tea throughout the day.
Next time we are in Cape Cod I would definitely come back to stay here.

We stayed at the 1750 Inn at Sandwich Center over the holiday weekend and had a lovely time. We were one of several couples staying and had the pleasure of meeting interesting people from across the Atlantic.
Jan and Charlie were welcoming hosts, and breakfast cannot be gushed about enough. Prepared by Jan and served by Charlie, I can’t think of a better way to start a vacation day than with juice, fresh fruit and a home-​cooked meal. Also, the afternoon snack — freshly baked cookies — are worth mentioning. (Worth mentioning twice. At least.)

My parents were the first ones to tell me about this B&B a few years back and everytime they come back from a stay here they rave about how amazing it is. Well this past week we had a mini vacation down at the inn and with all my parents hype, this place not only lived up to but exceeded my expectations!
From the moment we walked in, the place felt so cozy and inviting. I haven’t been to many B&B’s but this one makes you feel right at home. We stayed in the Miss Charlotte room and it was a good sized room, had a very comfy bed, and a nice personal bathroom (it also had a fireplace which we didn’t end up using but would be great in the colder months). There were only 4 other guest rooms in the house, along with an open living room and dining room area where we were able to converse with the other guests. Outside of the inn itself was a spacious lawn area with adirondack chairs to relax in and a little patio area where we actually enjoy breakfast two different mornings.
What really makes this place great and our stay so enjoyable were the inn keepers /​owners, Jan and Charlie. They are both so incredibly friendly, helpful and two of the nicest people you’ll meet. Every morning our day started with a delicious breakfast prepared by Jan and served by Charlie. From frittatas, to blueberry lemon french toast and fresh fruit bowls, all of it was so incredibly tasty. Then later on in the evening when we would return, there would be 4 bottles of wine Charlie would leave out for the guests to enjoy (from his own collection), along with bottles of brandy and sherry for a late evening night cap.
In summary, I honestly can’t begin to explain just how incredible the 1750 Inn is and how great our stay was. Sandwich is a nice quiet little town and this B&B is the place to stay if you are in the area or on a vacation. From the cozy interior, to the fantastic owners and the delicious breakfast and other amenities, it’s hard to ask for a more ideal location to get away and relax.

A beautifully decorated B&B with wonderful, caring hosts. A gem to visit to get a real Cape Cod experience. Jan and Charlie cook up a great breakfast and make you feel right at home. They have great advice on where to eat/​things to do and will help facilitate things as much as possible. Also in a great location to walk all around and explore what Sandwich has to offer.
