Personally my favorite resteront! Everything is good! Get there corn bread! The kitchen knowledge is amazing! They know exactly what temperature everything is supposed to be at… Even there waitressing staff knows the temperature of the food. Everyone is very friendly and and happy to be there!

Good place. We ate right on the water. Our waiter Christopher was excellent and our food was good and very prompt. We’ll be back.

One of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. Service was terrible and so was the food. Server made no apologies for the constant mistakes and misses for our table of 9. No one liked what they ordered. A simple«we’re sorry», would have made a world of difference.

I never thought I’d be so happy to eat out of a trashcan lid… After an extra-long day of stomping around Cedar Point, this is an amazing place to eat. It might seem more expensive than other Famous Dave’s locations — but it’s still so much cheaper/better value/more delicious than theme park food! We came in almost too exhausted to be hungry — but as soon as our group laid eyes on the All-American BBQ Feast option, we knew it was time to eat like the champs we were for dealing with Cedar Point in the rain! We even added the Dave’s Sampler Platter for good measure. The sampler came with spareribs, fried chicken tenders, catfish fingers, onion strings and BBQ chicken wings. The BBQ Feast brought even more spareribs — a full slab! — an entire chicken, Texas beef brisket, coleslaw, Fries, beans, corn-on-the-cob, and corn bread muffins. And yes. It is served out of a trash can lid. Somehow after stuffing our faces and nearly slipping into a food coma — it still seemed like a great idea to walk through a Halloweekend Haunt with our stomachs in our throats and then immediately get onto Top Thrills Dragster. The food was so good, my stomach didn’t even let me think about throwing up from being skyrocketed to 120 mph within 30 minutes of eating… If you’ve got a group who wants to try it all — you can’t go wrong with Famous Dave’s & splitting a Feast & a Sampler. With soft drinks and tip for 5 people it cost just over $ 20 each to gorge ourselves on BBQ and we even had food to take home!

It’s Famous Dave’s. If you’ve had it one place, it’s the same everywhere — except here, it’s much more expensive, since it’s right near Cedar Point. The service has been very friendly both times that I have come here, but the food is only average. This second time that I went(yesterday), I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich and it was INCREDIBLY salty. I like salt, but it was so salty, I almost couldn’t handle it. Still, I smothered it in more BBQ sauce(which they have on the tables) and it was edible. Just be prepared to drink a lot of water with it.

I just finished a review for our local Famous Dave’s and mentioned that this location was a great place to eat while at Cedar Point for the day. The food is as good as our local restaurant and I believe they validate your parking for the causeway that day as well. The prices are very close to the off site locations and the Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork and my favorite Rib Tips are all delicious. The kids seem to go for the Chicken Strips, but anything is cheaper than the food in the Park itself. It’s also a nice get away where you can leave some of the hustle and bustle behind for a while and enjoy a sit down lunch/dinner. I’m going with 4 stars here. .

One of the only decent places to eat at Cedar Point. It seems overpiced but once you recieve your meal you will realize the money is worth the amount of food you get. The sauces are delicious and the service is usually quick. Everytime I have eaten here I always took food home because they gave me so much.

I was only going to give this two stars, but the food turned out to be pretty good. We had the giant meal that serves 4 – 6. For 5 people it was about perfect. The ribs and brisket were just ok but the chicken was awesome. There were a few problems. We waited forever to be seated. Were quoted 25 to 30 minutes and waited about 50 – 55 minutes. When we were seated there was no silverware. We got 4 sets for 6 people as our food came out and also didn’t have plates so we sat there and stared at our food for a few minutes while the waitress found plates. In her defense, she was really nice and was trying her hardest. It’s hard to do a good job serving when the rest of the restaurant is running slow and messing up. Our meal also came out without the chicken. If we hadn’t noticed I don’t think we would have ever gotten it. Which would have been a shame because it was the best part. Throughout our meal we noticed tables leave and they wouldn’t be bussed for 20 minutes or so. I think the restaurant was severely short-staffed, probably because it was the 4th of July. The restaurant space is huge. It can definitely seat a ton of people. Yet the ladies room has 2 stalls. There was a line of about 7 women when I went in there. If your restaurant is that big, you need more than two stalls. I wouldn’t go back here when it’s busy, but the food made up for the lack of preparation in other areas.

I have eaten at Famous Dave’s before. The great part about this place is the location. After a long day at Cedar Point, it was great to hit up this place for a late-night dinner. It is literally outside the park on the water. FD’s has very good sauces and this location is very big.

This BBQ eatery is, of course a chain. And chains, of course, must follow recipes and standards. I’m a fan of Famous Dave’s because they have some decent portions for reasonable prices, but expect to wait for your food here. Although I didn’t time our meal, we definitely did not finish within our hour allotment for lunch. It also seems that this location runs out of certain sides or meats quickly. I’m sure that’s not the case in the near future as the summer looms near and kids need vomit ammo for the coasters.

BBQ heaven! After walking hours around Cedar Point food was a definete must. Thank goodness for Famous Dave’s, b/c it had to be one of thee best bbq places I’ve ever been to. You walk in and already you can smell the bbq which was great, it was a very clean place with a pretty nice décor having an outdoor feel to it as if you were actually at a bbq. Me and my three friends ordered the Famous Dave’s feast for 6, yes there was only four of us :-D! But that feast gave us a large variety of the food that they offered, so instead of each of us ordering something different, we went for it all! The bbq was amazing the one that stood out the most was the beef brisket! The amount of flavour that was put into that brisket was so mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good. It also wasn’t dry at all, it was so tender and moist that we actually ordered more of the brisket. The waiter was really surprised b/c we easily killed the feast and ordered more food on top of that. He said that most people who ordered the feast barely finish the feast let alone order more food. The one thing I did not like about the feast was the corn bread, mind you I don’t like corn bread in the first place, but my friends did not like the bread at all. Items to definetly get — famous daves feast — baby back ribs — beef brisket
