We have been in business since December 2008.

Our Taxi business has grown from 1 cab back then to 7 taxis running 24 hours a day. We have a total of 14 full and part-​time drivers on staff. They are all licensed and insured and 100% RELIABLE.

We are Sandusky natives, born and raised. Our children and now our grandchildren are growing up here as well.

We both graduated from Sandusky High School and spent the next 30 years working in the area.

We saw a need for a Taxi service in this area that was reliable and affordable for the residents and tourists alike. There are many foriegn students who come to Sandusky to work on Visas and they are very much in need of drivers that know the area and are honest. We strive for our business to be fair, honest and nondiscriminating for every rider we transport.

2 stars just as we got there in one piece, it was relatively trouble free to catch from the Amtrak station, and there are very few options in town overnight. Driver continuously taking calls of other drivers and from passengers, and very very late to pick us up to catch the train plus with continual reassurance that cab was on the way when it clearly wasn’t. We arrived just 3 minutes before the (delayed) departure of our train. Driver’s response was that the trains are usually late — however, we had been tracking the train and so were aiming for the delayed time — plus was 2.5 or so hours later than the time that the train was due to arrive. No assistance with luggage. Some of the issues not the driver’s fault as clearly very busy, but if using definitely be aware that the service is just not reliable.

I’m a 47 year old pilot, skydiver, scuba diver, race car driver. I don’t scare easily. Riding in the back while the lady handles dispatching multiple other drivers, writing down addresses and phone numbers, calling and texting other drivers all while driving… wasn’t a pleasant ride. Should have a real dispatcher who isnt risking passengers lives.

This cab company is the best plain & simple. There are so many great things I have to say about AMPM Taxi. First and foremost, the drivers are so nice. They are very personable and kind. I think what I love the most about them is that no matter what day it is, or even what time it is, I know I can depend on them to get me to where I need to go. But what I really enjoy is they will call me on my cellphone when they have arrived to pick me up. They are AMAZING!!! 5⁄5 Stars!!!

I am an 18 year old girl, who was traveling with a boy my age. The drivers were constantly on their cell phone texting and calling customers and other taxis while they were driving, as well as making notes about new fares. The people that answered the phone when you called were always rushed and rude, because you were calling them while they were driving and receiving other customers (as they did not have a central dispatcher).
They were an hour late picking us up from Cedar Point, causing us to miss our bus home. The owner himself picked us up 45 minutes after the time they SAID they would be there, and didn’t believe us when we said that we had called them at 6:34, not 6:54. When I offered to show my call history, he said «Let’s do that.» Upon showing him, he shrugged his shoulders and said «What can you do?»
When we pulled up to the empty bus station, he shrugged his shoulders again, and made us pay and get out, leaving two teenagers at a gas station on the edge of town as it was getting dark.

Used them for a recent Cedar Point trip. Previous trip had the same problems but decided to try again. Absolutely no consistency in pricing. Same ride once charged 7,10.also 15. Also was told would get discount if they picked up more passengers which they did, but yet no discount. They were late a few times and once got a attitude when called for a pick up. Drivers pick up the calls and you could get someone across town and wait longer. Think they need a dispatch to coordinate drivers and a set price. Some drivers are really nice and charge a fair rate. Will try someone else next time or for what we paid rent a car in town.
