Horrendous customer service. Salespeople here are rude and unhelpful… and the store isn’t even crowded right now to justify the attitude. So turned off by the customer service I don’t want to buy anything based on principle.

Worst customer service ever!!! I would never shop here again because even if you do see something you like, the employees ignore you or don’t understand English. It’s quite difficult to get a simple question answered or even a pair of shoes to try on! Just horrible. –1 star, please.

Lame customer service. And yes being bilingual is always a plus, but make sure to hire people who actually understand and speak both, that way they don’t stand there looking clueless and making you feel like your the dumb one! And once you get someone to help you they will«pretend» to help and say«whatever sizes we have out there, that’s all we have»(I hate that line) I used to work retail and that’s bull because there is usually more inventory in the back. Overall employees are not helpful and rude.

14APR2013: Me: I want this size but not the display. Big sales lady in pink tank top: If you want I can order it for you and shipped it to your address for free. What’s your address Sir? Me: Oh no, I’m good. BSIPTT: Okay, let me look at the back. After 5 minutes, she came back with a pair of shoes that I want. Can you look at the store room first before asking your customer to order the item? Are you just lazy or stupid?

Aldo is one of my favorite shoe stores. Store is kind of tight. I couldn’t really get around with the stroller, but they had cute shoes and accessories. There were some discounted shoes but seemed to be average as an ordinary Aldo store. I’ve bought several shoes from here over the years and it’s just great quality. Good store!

Last time I was here(mid June) a kind & helpful employee(Esteven?) helped me. He was great. I wanted the Aldo Artison black wedge heels but they were out of my size. He suggested ordering them for me & having them shipped straight to my house, all complimentary. I don’t know why I never knew this AWESOME service existed here, but definitely exceeded my expectations for an Aldo Outlet. He even suggested an awesome pair of terry cloth in soles for my other heels & was very knowledgeable about the different varieties. I ended up coming back here recently to return my beloved sky high wedges because they hurt like [insert your favorite curse word here]!! I couldn’t stand it. Granted, most of my shoes do hurt(if they don’t, they aren’t doing anything for you, right? lol), but these were simply unbearable. I came here to return them to find 4 female employees behind the counter, with only 1 register open. I waited in line for about 15 min before I got helped. They were all talking to each other in Spanish & seemed unaware that there were about 6 customers waiting in line for 1 register. They were laughing & showing each other shoes from the store, waiting for her reaction to them before putting them back. Also I found the one young lady wearing ripped nude tights, a tight neon pink dress paired with brown boat shoes, exhibiting a pretty unprofessional look. Their lack of work ethic and professionalism made me dock 1 star but otherwise, great store & fabulous deals! If Esteven(?) is working, then you’re in luck. I will definitely come back here again even if I risk enduring this again.

I bought a pair of shoes from the Aldo in Union Square in San Francisco and when I got back home in San Diego, I wasn’t satisfied how my toe looked in the peeptoe slingbacks, so I took them into the Aldo in Parkway Plaza in El Cajon and they told me that the Aldo is San Ysidro had the size that I needed. When I got to the San Ysidro store they informed me that the UTC location is the store that had my size. Needless to say that I was pissed that I had just wasted my time driving 45 minutes from work to get to even get to San Ysidro! The guy at the counter totally sympathized with my inconvenience and had them shipped to my home free of charge. I was so impressed with their impeccable customer service. I was in their store late Wednesday evening and my shoes were waiting for me when I got home from work on Friday. They have definitely got my business from now on(definitely worth the drive for this@kind of service)! I love my shoes!!!

Zero stars for the rap music playing with tons of curse words. What respectable retailer does that???

Aside from clothes, purses and accessories what more does a woman need? ANSWER: more shoes than she possibly has room for. In my short lived intense search for a pair of knee high boots that would not make me look like a hooker I stumbled into Aldo. Their collection of shoes(pumps, flats, boots, etc.) were impressive and the styles attractive. They also had a decent collection of accessories(purses, hats, jewelry, etc.). Aldo does not carry ½ sizes so either you go up or down a ½ size. They have more of the larger sizes in stock however, if you find a style you fancy they can order it in your size just as long as you are willing to forfeit the feeling of «instant gratification.» Sadly, I did not find my «dream boots» but I at least walked out of Aldo with a new clutch!(Instant gratification…)
