Denton’s Decorative Concrete

I should have went with my Gut feeling with Sean Denton. I picked a color from a swatch to have the interior of my home done with an Epoxy Stain. Sean Denton never guided me to go see a full color swatch. The color ended up a pink color. He subbed the work out to a guy named Alex who was completely unprofessional and even told me some negative things about Sean. He then told me he would (on the side) change the color for an additional $ 300 which I didn’t have a choice at that point.
Denton concrete ruined my house. They got epoxy all over every wall which I now have to pay over $ 1500 to paint my entire house. What they got on my walls was a paint thinner that took the paint off my walls up to 4′ high in many areas. I also had to throw away some very expensive clothing that had epoxy stain all over. In addition, I have hard spots on my carpet from I am guessing the polyurethane (that by the way bubbled in many areas).
I have also had to pay a professional cleaner to come in and DEEP CLEAN my home. There was concrete left in my tub. Rings of epoxy left on shelving and I had to wash every stitch of clothing that I didn’t have to throw away because of the 2 inches of dust on it. Had he asked me to cover the items (which he should have done) I would have followed his instruction.
I would recommend to NEVER use this contractor. I am told his references are family members. He called the errors made MINOR but would not contribute to the financial burden of having to redo any work and has not refused to answer any further text messages.
It has been 2 weeks and I am still cleaning stuff he has left behind.
What a nightmare.

The owner of this company is totally undependable. He does not pay his employees. That’s why he has to hire different people all the time, because no one will continue working for him. Very dishonest! Now he has disconnected his phone. Stay away from this company.

I was referred by friends of dentons decorative concrete and used them to pour a slab on our 40×22 slab for our house. I have e mailed Shaun text him Facebook him to try and come back and finish his work but refuses every type of contact. I got two estimates to repair the 1 ½ inch highs to the ⁵⁄₈ lows in his concrete job of $ 130 an hour at 8 to 12 hour repair. I would highly recommend avoiding this contractor. He has numerous complaints against his work.
