Anjila and ladies are professional but personable, always listening to what the customer wants. Their strengths is working with the customer to achieve the best outcome. This often involves applying their expertise and offering options.
Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend Zolf. After all, each visit I leave feeling better about the way I look — isn’t that what it’s all about?

Went here for a blow out. Who can screw up a blow out? Zolf Salon! I made an appointment and asked for someone who knew what they were doing. I was assured by the owner that I would have Ensieh a «Vidal Sassoon graduate». I arrived and didn’t know who Ensieh was but a woman came to me and asked me to go with her. 5 seconds in I knew that this woman did not know what she was doing. She didn’t know how to use a round brush and burned my scalp three times. I asked her if she was the one whose license was on the booth and she said no. Ensieh was next to me doing another persons hair. It wasn’t until this moment when I asked who she was that the owner and Ensieh spoke up and said «oh sorry I was running late today but Genie had some extra time.» Im not even sure Genie is a licensed stylist. Both of these women heard and saw that Genie burned my scalp three times and the end of my hair were fried as well. They never did or said anything. She had no idea how to do a blow out. If I wanted my hair dried with a blow dryer I could’ve done that myself… sans the frying. I will stick to Tribez where every single person in there knows how to do a blowout. And it’s the same price! The owner knew I was annoyed and I told her that when I was leaving. She called me later to offer a free blow out. Why would I waste my time? She shouldn’t have charged me for that hot mess to begin with.

I love this Hair Salon. Especially my hair stylist Ensie. She is friendly, efficient and does a great job. She listens and does exactly what you ask of her. Highly recommend her.

Camy is by far the best nail technician I have ever been to! She takes her time, she is extremely neat and clean and always offers the best nail design.
I would refer her any day of the week!

Talk about an ideal experience. After several horrible experiences with my long time stylist I felt I had to make a change. I am big in reviews and customer opinions and was very happy to read the feedback for this Salon. I booked a consult and they were able to see me the next morning. I was partnered with Ensieh and she was wonderful. She was warm and friendly right away. I told her that I had been wanting to go from my washed out blonde to a richer color and have just been unsure. I have also been using fusion extensions and needed them redone. After speaking to Ensieh, she encouraged me a richer color would bring out my features, and wanted me to consider giving tape ins a try. My hair is fine and she advised it would be gentler for my hair. Even though my consultation was scheduled for 15 minutes, she never once worried about time and discussed tape ins, color matches and how we would proceed. She even got second opinions and advise from her colleagues, something I really liked. Within a few days I was back in her chair, nervous for so many changes and something new. She took her time as she wanted everything to be perfect. It was going to be a long appointment and she made sure I was comfortable, offered me snacks and drinks and things to read. She was very attentive. The Owner of the Salon also made it a point to come over, chat, offer help, check on things and checked on me often if I needed anything.
Once it was all said and done my hair turned out AMAZING. The color was perfect! It matched the extensions perfectly right down to the highlights! I could not believe it. The tape in extensions were so soft and shiny and felt so great. It was all beyond my expectations. I have never once left a salon with tears of joy until that day.
My visit was over two weeks ago and my hair still looks so great!

I would think twice before booking this place for a special occasion. They offer bridal hair and makeup, which I thought would be perfect since the salon is located so close to the venue that I will be getting married at. I called in January to schedule a consultation in April, as well as the bridal makeup/​hair appointment for my wedding day in June. I live in SF and don’t have a car, so it’s not easy to get to San Ramon for me. On Sunday, I got to the salon for my consultation with my friends, and it turns out the stylist doesn’t work at the salon anymore!
My appointment was removed from their calendars. Welp, no one thought to tell me, and I still had the appointment on the appointment app that they use. No one was available to help me that day and they told me that «this would never have happened on your wedding day.» Umm but you let it happen less than 3 months before? Now I’m stuck trying to find someone to do my hair and makeup on such a short timeline.
What irks me the most is not just the scheduling screw up, but that they never called me after to try to reschedule or anything. It’s like they don’t care or need the new business, maybe because I’m all the way in SF.

Loved my experience at Zolf Salon. Went in for a formal updo hairstyle for my sister’s wedding. Very friendly atmosphere. I was served a cup of mocha as I was getting my hair done by Anjila. Tanya did a fabulous job in less than half an hour! I just found myself a new salon and a hairstylist for my hair needs. Thank you again Tanya for a million dollar updo

So I called this random salon seeing it had 5 stars on Unilocal and asked to book for a color correction they said they could get me in the next day with a person name ensieh. Sure so I went in for my appointment I had orange hair and wanted my hair toned out to a silver but told her she didn’t have to get it to silver if she couldn’t I don’t mind going darker she said let me see went to the back for a while came out said ok I have to re bleach your hair again and then apply the color the total cost will be 240. If I wanted some hair treatment later cause it might be damaged it will be an extra 30 Bucks she said think about it and I didn’t say nothing. so she rebleached my hair and then washed it out. Then applied something else that takes the orange color out and it was burning my head so bad so I told her that she said oh poor thing but I wanted to leave it in longer so the color will turn out but this stuff was literally burning my head I could bearly hold still so I grabbed a magazine to fan my head that’s when she said oh just use a blow dryer on cold air and it should feel better and it did but was still burning like shit. Then she goes and washes may hair out and said she was putting some awesome conditioner on there I was like whatever she did not tell me this conditioner she used was gonna be extra on my bill I didn’t like the fact that the entire time I was there she had no clue what she was doing and had to ask her coworker for help and thank god for her coworker Angela or God knows how my hair would look. I had to go to an engagement dinner by 6 and at this point it was 6:30 and she wanted to curl my hair so she could take an Instagram pic I said no I got no time for that. She told me to come back in the morning for a glaze cause my hair was looking green. I said ok but are you gonna charge me? She said yeah and the receptionist said no there’s no extra charge. Btw I asked for a choppy layered hair cut and she fucken gave me a blunt cut I looked like I was 6 years old. She charged me 290 in the end for green silver fucken hair that was cut like a fucken bob worst hair cut for 75 bucks this lady doesn’t know what the fuck she’s doing probably just started hair dressing and wait for it it gets worst. so I left the next morning I came back in she gave me a glazed and then blew dried my hair and asked if I wanted curls or straighten it I said whatever I don’t care she said curls will look nicer I said whatever sure so she plugs in her curling iron and I said u gotta fix this hair cut I want choppy layers for my hair not this so she runs her scissors through to try and layer it out and it looks the same shit, I said nothing I was so over it. While I was sitting there I noticed his brown stop on the side of my side burn I said what is that color left over so she try’s to wipe it off it wouldn’t come off she said oh it’s prob here before !!! I said no it’s prob bleach that was left from yesterday not washed all out and she goes u can apply makeup to it to cover. So I thought it was bleached that was the spot and it was never washed off. But now it’s been two days and it turns out my whole scalp is burned with tons of circle Scabs everywhere on my head from her burning my head with her color she put in I have about 20 brown spots on my head. I attached pics to show u guys. Back to my story So then she puts curls in my hair and tells the receptionist to take a pic of my hair. Then she try’s and sells me all this hair care crap for my hair knowing that I have a Cosmo license and I could buy that wholesale I said nope don’t need it and got up to go tip her at the receptionist desk and the receptionist tells me I owe her 35 for styling my hair and curling it at this point I was livid I didn’t ask for curls u curled my hair so you could take a nice Instagram pic and ur charging me for it. I left her a fucken tip anyway and left never coming back. My whole head hurts and I have tons of brown scabs everywhere from her burning my head. WARNING!!! Do not go to her she doesn’t know what she’s doing and burned my head I am so pissed right now and to top it off my hair is so dead her deep conditioning didn’t work for 30 bucks. Btw I have a short bob when I came in so it wasn’t like my hair was super long for her to go charge me an arm and a leg and burn my scalp now I need to go see a fucken doctor for my head!!! Will never come back here again!

First off, Tanya is THE girl to go to! I have gotten my hair done twice here by her and every time it looks better than I could ever imagine it! I give her a description of what I want and she makes it better than described! She truly has a gift for mixing the colors just right and making it flawless! I recommend everyone go see her at least once and you will fall in love with what she can do and come back again and again!

So I walked into this place on a whim, and I’m so glad I did! Anjila did my hair and she was amazing! I got a cut and a gloss treatment, and my hair feels amazing. Anjila explained everything about proper hair care, and explained my hair type and texture, and what colours work best with my tone, and features. She’s very knowledgable and such a sweet, and gorgeous woman!
I love what she did to my hair, and her interaction she had with me. I appreciate that she took her time, despite me being a walk-​in. I definitely found «my» salon

From first visit:
Went here to get my hair dyed and a haircut. I’m new to the area so just went off the Unilocal reviews. The lady who I got Julia was nice. My hair dye did not last at all and the haircut is so bad I’m still trying to grow my hair out after 3 months. She thinned it out so much and cut it so weirdly, it’s like I got bit by a razor! Lol!
Sadly I will not be coming back. The salon is nice but the charge for the service was very expensive and since neither the hair color not the haircut worked out… I’m not happy. :-(on to another salon. Hope I can find a good hairstylist soon, or I may have to go all the way to San Jose to my former salon.

This review is for Ensieh. I’ve been seeing Camy for nails for a long time and she recommended Ensieh for my hair after I complimented her on her highlights. I had my highlights done by Ensieh and I couldn’t be happier. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, really analyze my hair and skin tone and then did an amazing job! The owner, Anjila, also cares so much about her clients. She came over and looked at my eye color and made recommendations based on that. I felt like a princess being pampered and I’m thrilled with the results. It is weeks later and my hair still looks amazing! I can’t wait to go back!

Love this place! Anjila is so sweet and really listens to what you want to do with your hair. Meaning: she won’t chop more than you’re willing to give up lol. The salon is super modern and they keep you trendy by playing fashion show reels consistently. As soon as you walk in, you’re offered a beverage of your choice, and if you’re hungry, they have snacks. Zolf always has the newest products & the friendliest people to show you your way around them.
Definitely recommend coming here.

I have been seeing ANGELA SOLTERO since I moved back to the Bay in 2010. She is amazing! I love her friendly and bubbly personality, she always has a smile on her face:)
I love that Angela takes the time to understand what look I am inspired by and the finished product never falls short! I am always impressed with her skill set-​that is why I am a long term client:) She did my hair and make-​up for my wedding; see the photos!
When I am at Zolf Salon, I feel like I am on a vacation as I am a busy working mom of a 2 year old. They offer dressed-​up coffee, WiFi and everyone is so nice and attentive. I am happy that Angela is here!

If you haven’t been to see Angela yet, you’re missing out! I was lucky to find her again after I moved around the country for a few years. She did my hair years ago when I was fun and daring and had two toned hair (it was the 00s!) and a funky cut. She was amazing then and she’s even better now. She cuts my stacked mom-​bob like nobody’s business and attends to every detail. She makes it look COOL. She rocks with color, too. She’s done a million things with color for me but what I love is that no matter what I ask for, she finds a way to do it. And I MAY have a touch of the crazies when if comes to changing my hair color. Love that flexibility AND talent. Personally, she’s lively– funny and chatty, but also know when to lay low of you want to chill.
Zolf salon– I likey. I followed Angela here from her previous salon and Zolf is perfect. Good sized with it being over crowded, and everyone who I’ve seen there is friendly. They even charged my phone for me once, and they always offer coffee, tea, or water when I arrive.
Best part? Super reasonable cost. I am willing to pay the big bucks for awesome hair, but I love when I can pay what feels good, too. Hey, means I can tip more!

After deciding to get my hair cut short in support of my cousin battling stage 4 cancer I was made an appointment at Zolf Salon in San Ramon and couldn’t be happier with the result. I have had my hair midway down my back for 12 or more years with pretty much the same style, so this was pretty nerve racking for me. I had Jill do my hair and after a discussion about what ideas I had for it I gave her pretty much free reign. Jill was fantastic! She was honest when discussing ideas regards what she thought would suit my hair and face type and reassuring and supportive throughout. The other staff were just as welcoming and supportive and I felt totally pampered throughout. I can’t thank Jill enough and the best thing is I have discovered the style is versatile and I can wear in my hairs natural wavy state or if I want to spend the time to straighten it. I can honestly say if you go to Zolf’s you won’t be disappointed

Tanya and Anjila are a Godsend!
I’m actually visiting town for the holidays, and I was in DESPERATE need to get a haircut, so I made a brave decision to book an appointment with a salon I didn’t know. I actually went off of Unilocal reviews, and I’m so so glad I did! I saw that I could book an appointment online hassle free, and everything worked out very smoothly.
There were actually two people who teamed up to do my hair. Anjila was in charge of my cut. She’s actually the owner of the salon, and so sweet. It’s clear that she cares about each client that walks in, as well as her entire staff. She gave great suggestions for my hair bc I had no idea what I really wanted. She told me exactly what she was doing as she was cutting it. I ended up with more refined layers that really flatters my face while keeping the length I wanted.
I was then passed on to Tanya, who was a DREAM to work with! I wanted to change my color and add more dimension, so the consensus was highlights. I’ve never gotten a full highlight before, but I wanted to stay with dark hair and not do anything super dramatic. Tanya was able to achieve perfect caramel tones to compliment my dark hair, and I’m literally obsessed with the color. I told her I’m horrible with hair maintenance, and she blended the highlights in a way that will look great as my hair grows out. If you’re looking for bomb color, TANYA is your girl! I actually went out with friends after my appointment and got so many compliements.

Wow… I needed a hair make over badly. I found the most wonderful stylist ever!!! Tanya is absolutely great! She offered some suggestions and WOW, great color and cut.

Jill is absolutely amazing! From style, to color, to cut. We’ve been through blonde highlights, to bright red, to black, and back to blonde, and she always exceeds my expectations. Right now I have an ombré on my hair and I absolutely love it! I have been in search for a great hair stylist since I moved several years ago, and I’m so thankful I finally found Jill. She will not disappoint.

Anjila @ Zolf has modernized my look (had same frizzy curls parted on side w/​highlights since high school) and now I feel amazing!!! I did balyage/​ombré highlights & she showed me how to blow it out and give it big beach waves. I Love It!
