Last week I arranged to have carpets cleaned for a senior citizen and we both were delighted with Sean, the employee assigned to our request. He did an excellent job. We feared she might have to replace the carpet to put the place up for sale but that was not the case; the carpet looked brand new and no evidence of a cat ever living there! Sean explained the process and was very patient and respectful to the older client as well as myself. This is the second time I have patronized P&G Chem-​Dry and I am 100% sold on this company. Two employees out of two giving true customer service (as well as the office personnel!) in today’s business climate means a lot to me! I will continue to refer them to interested friends as well as have them care for my carpet and upholstered furniture. I have purchased their carpet cleaning product and it works well, too. Nancy S.

I have been using these guys for almost seven years. Read my prior reviews to see how harsh I can be on services and you will see that I am a tough customer. They are now using a special tile cleaning process that I have personally experienced and am very pleased with the results! Their carpet cleaning process is top notch as well! The same two guys have been coming for the entire time I have used them. They are good workers, polite and serious about their work. When discounts can be applied, they always do so to help me out with the cost. That goes a long way for me. I have used ChemDry in SoCal and like their process. P and G takes their service to another level. They come within the specified window, move items around carefully and leave my place super clean. To give perspective, I have two big dogs. They make my place seem like it is pet free!
We need more stars from Unilocal to adequately assess their service and professionalism!

Overall I’m happy with my experience with P&G.

Negatives:
Estimate was way off. Phone estimate was $ 250. Final cost was $ 425 even after they gave me an additional discount for having no furniture on the carpets. I get that an estimate is an estimate, but it being this far off makes me think that they give you the low end on the phone to get you in the door. A range would be preferable to me. The rooms in our house are not abnormally large. Looking around from a square foot basis, it’s probably a fair price, but there was definitely some sticker shock.
Also, I was told I would get a phone call when they were done, but I never got one. No big deal…
I would use them again, but I would add some $$$ onto the estimate to eliminate surprises.

Very poor customer service. Called for an estimate and was quoted 27 cents/​sq foot for an empty house. I mentioned I had an expired coupon for 20% off and the lady said she could not honor that but would give me 10% off for being a first time customer. I told her I would call back because I did not know what date I needed a cleaning at that point. I called a second time to schedule, was given the same quote 27 cents/​sq foot and mentioned that I had originally spoken to someone who said I could get an additional 10% off. The lady said she didn’t know about that but would speak to the manager. The carpet cleaning guy shows up to my place the next week, I get a text that it will be an additional $ 4 per stair for cleaning. That was never mentioned in their price quoting both times that I called– it should be a standard that they ask if a home has stairs especially since they charge so much additional for stairs. So be aware if you have stairs, that will be an additional cost in your pricing that they forget to mention. That was a huge price increase for me on top of their quote. Not only that, but they say they cannot honor what they told me about the additional 10% off. At this point, it is not about the money but the principle of good customer service and honoring your word. I will never do business with this company again.

Had a great experience with P&G in the past but, Yesterday a young man came and his cleaning efforts were seriously lacking. I was not happy with the job he did.
After calling the office to report my disapproval they promptly scheduled a new appt for this morning and sent a very nice young man who out did himself! My carpets look wonderful!
I have used this company before and never had a problem. This was the first time I was not happy. They truly do stand behind their work and make a wrong right!

One of the best and most professional and knoweledgable company’s I have ever worked with. The owner Greg is honest, knowes his trade of work and the final outcome was outstanding. I would trust them with any damage restoration or carpet cleaning needed. Be careful for those Croupon bate and switch companies out there. They will screw you and in the end you will call P & G Chem dry.

Just finished getting my carpets cleaned and I’m thoroughly impressed! Steve was absolutely incredible. He showed up between the times scheduled, was very nice and professional, and got the job done in less than an hour! The results are fantastic! I was going to give him a tip, but unfortunately he finished while I was still out walking my dogs. Bummer. Highly recommend!!! Thanks again Steve! :)

We’ve been using P & G ChemDry for years now and have consistently been happy with their service. They always show up on time. Actually, we usually get the same guy — Steve — who does a terrific job and is a nice guy, too. He remembers us and our room measurements so the quoting process each time is a cinch. He explained to us about the issues with different kinds of stains and works harder on the hard-​to-​clean spots. He also explained why certain areas get dirtier (such as the strip under a closed door in the house and along the stairway edges).
The carpets dry within a couple of hours to a few hours so they are dry enough to walk on without socks getting wet — it depends on how dry and warm the weather is. We don’t do anything special, just open the windows.

Technician was to arrive between 8 – 8:30am today. By 8:45 there was no technician, no one answering the phone at Chem-​Dry either. When I finally reached their receptionist, Annette, she said that they’d had an ‘emercency meeting’, but no one bothered to call us, their clients, to let us know that no one was showing up from Chem-​Dry for our appointment. After MUCH prodding she gave us 10% off for our inconvenience. After another 45 minutes of no technician, I gave up and went to work. Needless to say we booked a new appointment with a DIFFERENT company for later this week. Two thumbs down on customer service for P&G Chem-​Dry. Very disappointing (complete lack of) service. Took the whole morning off of work for nothing!

I’ve used P&G for years and have never had a bad experience. The technicians are always courteous and prompt and the service is reasonably priced. The dry cleaning process is much better than the more common steam cleaning process which probably takes weeks to dry out underneath. The technicians always ask about any stains they find and treat them specifically for the source of the stain as opposed to dumping the same chemicals on all stains.

Our family has used this company for about 8 years and have always been more than satisfied with their work. The technicians are friendly, efficient and get the job done! Thanks guys!

I’ve used Chem Dry for many years and they have always been outstanding! The technicians know what they are doing, are efficient, and the carpets dry quickly. They use sustainable products as well. I had to have my carpets stretched and Bill did an excellent job! I’m a happy camper

I have used P & G Chem-​Dry for 15 years. They have been great. They carpets are dry within hours and are very nice to work with.
I will now start having my tile sealed and cleaned with them also. I will let you know how that turns out.

I think a carpet cleaning service has a lot to do with the individual who does the job. I’ve always had fantastic results with P&G Chem-​Dry and our carpet professional is Bill Brown, who is a carpet genius.
He’s been cleaning my carpets for ten years. We have a $ 14K carpet upstairs and have lived in our home 7years with two small children. Our carpet looks as good as the day we moved in because Bill takes such pride in his work. There’s nothing he can’t get up, and if it’s beyond help, he is an expert on patching.
Once we had a coffee spill and needed it cleaned immediately, Bill wasn’t avail and we had someone else come out who was rather inexperienced and he couldn’t get it clean. Bill came out later in the week and the stain was gone.
Call P&G, ask for Bill, and you will be impressed.

awful organization and communication. I asked this company to clean a vacant rental and they had two people call to confirm they would be there and asked me to make sure to meet or leave key in a lockbox so I drove there since they couldn’t do same day service and they couldn’t do it til weekend. I made special trip to leave a lockbox there on front door. Great. I show up a week later to do move in walk thru with my tenant and carpets were still dirty! ;o (NOT GOOD. I called and they made some lame excuse that we called and told them to hold off until further notice… nope that wasn’t me or anyone who works for me! I only use this company when my regular Truck mounted Steam Cleaner P-​Town isn’t able to pull in close to unit and I need a hand held unit to do a carpet cleaning. I hope these guys get a better system for booking appts or we will be using another vendor here lickety split!

The best carpet cleaning around, plus they do grout! I have been using P&G for many years and I’m always satisfied. The workers are always professional, on time and do an amazing job! I appreciate high quality at a fair price and that is what I get evrytime here.

Reviews have a lot of 5 stars and a couple of reviews with 1 star because of terrible customer service. I thought it’s fine — my wife wants a quick dry, as long as the results are good, I can handle bad customer service. There’s also a discount coupon from a magazine. I chose this over the others with mail-​in coupons with cheaper service. Bad decision.
Customer service — terrible! Believe the other reviews. I called for a quote, gave the exact room dimensions (2 rooms and stairs) but I was given a range. So I asked if she can give me an exact quote since I have given the dimensions — they can change if my dimensions are not accurate. Her answer does not make sense (it was blah, blah, blah…) and she was rude. So I asked her to cancel my appointment; she then became less rude :). So, I said OK with some hesitation — just so I don’t have to call another one. I actually called another company but got a voice mail so this company got lucky.
The day came. Appointment was between 9 and 11 am. He came at 11:45 am — 45 minutes late despite the 2-​hour range. Cost — at the top of the quoted range given on the phone even with the coupon — SO keep that in mind! I was offered other services which I declined. I applied Scotchgard carpet protector myself. Quality was OK — nothing impressive. The heavy usage area and the edge by the tile floor were not that clean (not as good as my previous carpet clean in a previous home).
OK — this may be one of my longest reviews. So believe me, there are better companies out there.

I always thought all carpet cleaners were the same. Steam clean carpet… have big blowing fans dry the carpet… you’re left with moist socks or feet from walking on the carpet for a few days.
That wasn’t the case with P&G Chem Dry. They assured me that my carpet would be cleaned and dry within 2hrs. That was important to me since I had a wandering toddler. Brian came to measure the carpet area and he explained to me their cleaning process. Very nice & professional guy. We were at home when they cleaned and the chemicals they used did not bother my son or dog. And after 2 hrs my carpet was clean, soft and bouncy.
Efficient, professional, and a job well done.

They not only do a great job cleaning the carpets. The customer service you get is amazing. You almost want to invite them over for dinner!
