My training program specializes in training all breeds, all ages of dogs, using techniques developed over the 16 years I have been training. I use positive reinforcement methods, and I show owners how to communicate effectively with their dogs. My methods are highly successful and results can be seen immediately.

History

Established in 1999.

I started training after seeing a large majority of dogs being put to sleep in shelters. I was a veterinary technician, and I observed how much impact owners and handlers energies affected their dogs.

The simple methods combined with guidance and consistency changed the behavior of the dogs immediately and made them feel more secure within the pack.

Business Owner

I started my business in 1999. I have been involved in working with dogs in a wide variety of roles, starting at the age of 16. I have trained dogs all of my life, and really feel a connection to them.

I have done volunteer work for German Shepherd Rescue, as well as the SPCA.

I have attended behavior modification seminars and have been a firm believer in positive reinforcement and behavior modification through positive modeling and motivation. I believe that you can change a dogs’ response to situations with consistent effort. Kindness and empathy is the most successful way to look at your dogs behavior problems. Be firm but fair. Your dog will respect you for that!
