Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!!!
Called for an estimate over the phone, had the men come out to see what was there, they phoned before they arrived (early no less!!), got the same estimate, they got there early and were done lickity split and cleaned the areas after they were done. :) :)
Absolutely fantastic!!! And yes, for those who want to know: well groomed, professional, clean, tidy, respectable, shook my hand, etc… Thank you Chonnessey and Jack!

Ruben and Jesus were great! Very friendly, good listeners (this stack goes, and this stack stays), and very hard workers. I had a massive amount of junk coming out of a house I inherited, and they loaded carefully to get the maximum amount in their truck. I will call Junk Pros again when the next load needs to be removed, and I hope Ruben and Jesus will be on hand that time too. Thanks, guys!

Chonnessey and Jack did a quick and neat job removing our very heavy old sofa-​bed. They were professional and polite and it was a pleasure to work with them. They called before coming and arrived on time. I like that everything about the sofa-​bed that can be recycled will be recycled.

Have used Junk Pros many times. They have always been prompt, professional, helpful. They always call to let us know if they are running late. We were thrilled to know they have a partnership with St. Vincent De Paul, so we know our items are being shared with people who need them. They also recycle wood, plastic, etc. Everything with one call. They are on our speed dial. Today we had the pleasure of working with Jack and Chonnessy and as usual, they were prompt, helpful and professional. We love junk pros!

Was told on the phone that the range would be from $ 99. to $ 179. and when they arrived, they quoted $ 279.00. Complete waste of time. Called another junk hauling group, they were here in 30 minutes and took it away for $ 125.00. Done. Read the reviews below, not competitive.

We had a good experience with Junk Pros. Ruben and his helper were efficient and helpful. They even went up to our attic to get a few things I couldn’t get down. I had a coupon too, and was a bit surprised at the cost. A bit higher than expected, but glad they were recycling everything.

I do not believe that this company has fair competitive prices. We even have a coupon and they wanted almost $ 260 on the original quote. While their coupon card starts at $ 84! We had a love seat some boxes of packing paper and empty broken down boxes and couple other small items. They guy told my husband that just a couch starts at $ 84. And that he quotes high/​over. We had probably less than ¼ truck load of their trucks if that. When my husband said «no» thank you, they left and came back about 10 minutes later and re-​quoted $ 215. Really! No thank you! I will never call this company again and never recommend them.

So disappointed. I had a few pieces of furniture that Salvation Army had no room for and DH said I had to get rid of NOW. So my mom gave me a coupon for these guys. The thing I liked about their website was how they said they’d recycle everything they could, and the furniture I had was in decent condition, so I went for it. The guy I spoke to gave me a rough estimate, based on my description of approx 4 cubic meters, and said it would most likely be $ 99 for a ¼ load. We made an appointment for noon the next day.
I had to call when they were 20 minutes late, only to be told that they had my appointment at 1:00. Ok, cancel lunch plans. Then they called to say they’d be an additional half hour later because of their lunch. Ok. Then when they came, the driver showed me this elaborate pricing schedule that didn’t reflect what the man on the phone told me. My $ 99 ¼ load was now a $ 215 1⁄6 load that didn’t apply to the coupon.
We negotiated a bit more but the final nail in the coffin was, as they were loading the items in to the truck, they started just smashing furniture in the street to make it fit. So much for donating!!! I told the dispatcher guy I had a bed and armoire, but they sent an almost full truck. They literally kicked the doors off the armoire, kicked out the back and smashed the sides. They did clean the splintered remains off the street, and if I’d taken the pieces to the dump their fate would have been the same, but it still didn’t seem to go with their philosophy of trying to donate usable pieces.

Started off well. They called to say they’d be a little late and gave an eta. I went to the storage unit and waited. They didn’t show for over an hour and then claimed truck broke down. They could have called. Next estimated ½ truck Load and said would pack tight and adjust if less.
Next issue was surcharge for mattresses. They wanted $ 25 each for 5 single bed mattresses. I objected and said I’d try another hauler. Driver called his «boss» for better deal then put me on the phone with him. He said the dump charged h $ 35 per so he was giving a deal. He also offered to deduct $ 25. This was a lie because the waste management website lists $ 19 for single mattress (which I didn’t know at the time). He then quoted a flat $ 400, down from the original $ 497. I agreed because I didn’t have time to start over. The load turned out to be between ¼ & 1⁄3 not ½ so I was still overcharged.

Worst experience ever! Zero stars all the way. Super disappointed. Chose this company based on their wonderful Unilocal and Angie’s List reviews (will also be leaving Angie’s List review). I told them when I made the appointment that I had a large pile of junk in my garage, but for some reason they sent guys (totally late) with half a truck full. They couldn’t take all the stuff in one load so they had to return next day (late again). Took a simple job and turned it into an ordeal. This whole process should have been super easy instead it took two days and was nothing but problems. They charged me ¾ truck load when they came with ½ a truck full. They said that there must have been some misunderstanding with the first day crew and the previous customer was charged ¼ a truck so I had to pay for the rest?!? I would never refer this company to anyone ever. NO! NO! NO! Worst ever!

Junk Pros was the best! I’ve always been hesitant to have someone come haul my stuff away; partly because I never have it organized enough to where I would feel comfortable having someone come get it, and partly because I looked at the task of getting rid of my crap as my responsibility — and that of the poor truck owner from whom I would have to borrow from. I’m glad to say that my wife insisted that we hire Junk Pros to take care of hauling our stuff. They gave us a quote over the phone, and didn’t try to increase it on-​site. Vincent Jimenez and Brandon Smith came out in 100 degree heat and politely spent their afternoon taking trash, bikes, our spa, broken ladders, a bed frame and all kinds of junk that no one wants in his backyard. They didn’t leave until we were completely satisfied with the job that was done; as a matter of fact, they even CLEANED UP before they left. There wasn’t a spec of dust left in the driveway or anywhere on our patio where the spa used to be. A job well done, and we will definitely use them again! Thanks to Vincent Jimenez and Brandon Smith for an incredible job! The owner, Julio, was also very polite on the phone.

I’ve used Junk Pro twice and will use them again. 1st visit they were running late but called multiple times to let know their eta. Very nice because you’re not standing around wondering if they’ll show. 2nd visit they were on time and still called ahead. They did a great job of loading the junk and cleaning up the area, not leaving a trace that there had been any trash there. Both visits they gave me the initial estimate before starting and stuck to it both times. Thanks Julio, great service from your crews.

Benjamin and Anthony called and asked if they could come a little earlier than the appointment time. They showed up quickly in a clean truck. They were friendly, polite and efficient. They were careful to separate items for recycling and charitable reuse. They left the area clean.
35 years worth of junk is GONE! I will definitely use Junk Pros again.

Very professional. Ben & Gabriel were prompt, hardworking, polite and absolute Tetris masters as they packed their truck with my stuff. Excellent service — especially as I was their 4pm pick-​up on a day when it was close to 100 degrees in Livermore.
They cleaned up well after themselves too — no small bonus. Will definitely be recommending them to more clients.

Not sure if this was the best deal in town, but it was a deal nonetheless. Purchased the 25% off Unilocal Deal for a pick up service that was needed. Pros is right. They recycle what they can and then junk what can’t be reused. I was able to schedule within a few days notice, they gave me a good estimate over the phone after I told them what I had, called when they were on their way, called when they were done and took payment over the phone. I received an email with my receipt within the hour. Very professional, friendly and customer service driven. I really hope I never have to use this kind of service again. Not moving again anytime soon. :-)

Our house came with a hot tub time machine and we weren’t too sure about how to get rid of it. We looked around and to our surprise, Junk Pros does. We called for an estimate and it wasn’t too bad. ~500 dollars to break it down and haul it away. They agreed to come on a Saturday morning to give us a full estimate in person and it was on…
They showed up on time and came and actually quoted me something lower. they said it wasn’t as big of a load as they thought and lowered it to ~400. Now how many places would actually be honest enough to do that? They brought out a saw and a couple of crowbars and 2 hours later, it was gone. Not only did they break it down and haul it away, they swept up and hosed the area down. Junk Pros truly exceeded our expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future.
