John is an awesome photographer, but even more importantly, he is an awesome human being! His work is definitely indicative of who he is as a person in general.
We have worked with John several years now in an annual event which he contributes his time and skills, he is quite an asset and I would highly recommend him over and over.

Tell me you’ve had that time when you needed a family photo or portrait and just dreaded the thought. Perhaps you were like me, doing the onerous chore of putting together the family Christmas card. Everyone complains to you, «I don’t look good in that picture!» Or, you struggle to even collect pictures across disparate SD cards and computers. Or, you might have even attempted your own photography by blindly setting up your camera on a tripod…
Friends, suffer no more. John can help you take care of your photography needs. In full disclosure, he is a coworker of mine who has turned his passion into quite the side business. He often shoots as a second on weddings, but he’ll gladly contract with you to photograph your dearest events or even prepare for that grad announcement, work profile picture, or family Christmas card.
I hired him out to do family photos, and he was very flexible with the booking (placeholders sufficed for the longest time) because my crazy-​busy family lives in different states. He met us out in the Tilden Park area and shot at four different locations over the span of about three hours. He was patient as we found out that so many sites were closed. We weren’t into the very staged poses, and so we all had a lot of fun just goofing around. Of course the pictures came out great!
I know that his son also does wedding videos, and they make quite the duo, too. So, if you’re interested in anything like that, be sure to send him an email.
Really, I’m so glad that my family is actually excited about the family Christmas card. The fact that they are choosing MULTIPLE photos and not just a horrendously bad one from the end of a family «vacation» that some tourist took for us is making my day. I will definitely be booking John for an encore next year. So much easier!
