Dr. Choi was very professional, helpful, and answered all of my questions. I could tell he really wanted me to have a positive experience to get me the results I was hoping for.
One of the receptionists, Maria, is always so nice when I come in and exemplifies wonderful customer service. It’s much appreciated!

I was recommended to see Dr. Choi for a procedure which had several steps and required me to visit many times over the course of 8 months. I had ample time to assess both Dr. Choi’s skill and his staff. Everyone was professional, kind and accommodating of my difficult scheduling needs. I would recommend Dr. Choi to anyone, without reservation, and I completely understand why so many dentist use him as their go-​to recommendation.

I was referred to Dr Choi and wasn’t able to get in for 6 weeks. Upon arriving early and filling out the necessary paperwork, I was taken to the exam room where I was asked the same questions that I just answered on the paperwork. Dr Choi seemed nice and confirmed that I needed a procedure but when I asked for the price he had to confirm with the front desk. No big deal. He came back and told me that I needed to speak with the front desk. The lady at the front desk said that she couldn’t give the estimate because she wasn’t able to verify my insurance since she had been looking at the wrong insurance plan and didn’t know that until I came in with the card. She said that she couldn’t get a hold of anyone at delta dental because they were all in a meeting. I then asked her why she hadn’t called me in the past 6 weeks to get the information she needed to get an estimate prior to my appointment. She said she tried to call my dentist that referred me but didn’t get a hold of them. I again reiterated my expectation that she should have called me or continue Jed to call my dentist over the past 6 weeks. She then said, «yea, but I didn’t». Frustrated with having spent 1.5 hours driving, filling out paperwork, and listening to her explain her incompetence, I told her that I was leaving and not coming back. Poor customer service!

I am very grateful to Dr. Choi. His skilled performance concerning the surgery on my mouth was exceptional, If my teeth were a house, they would be condemned! He was excellent considering the condition of my mouth.
8÷29÷15 I would just like to say that Maria who works in the office is very kind.

Dr. Choi is a very skilled, knowledgeable and gentle Periodontist. He pulled a tooth for me and subsequently gave me an implant. Both were a first for me. It was all seamless. He explained the process all very well, both pre– and post-​procedures as well as swelling/​pain management, if any. They use nitrous oxide which is a plus for me. The dental chair is extremely comfortable (massage-​setting). The office staff is very pleasant and they explain/​breakdown the fees clearly so you know what to expect. The office is in an office park with ample parking. I was able to get all of my questions answered in follow-​up visits and consultation appointment.

Let’s face it, no one wants to go see a dentist or a periodontist, but if you have to go see someone, Dr. Choi is as good as they come. Every time I have visited, he and his staff have been great.
Dr. Choi is extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and friendly. His service and expertise are unparalleled and anyone that cares about getting quality Perio work done should consider going to him. I highly recommend Dr. Choi without any reservation.

Dr. James Choi impressed me. I did a gum graft recently and he made the process extremely painless and fast. His work was swift and decisive, and I was in and out of his office in no time. My recovery was quite painless and correct, and I enjoyed seeing him.
I would highly recommend seeing him for any Periodontal work. Dr. George Wong referred me to him, a great general DDS.

Dr. Choi explained what needed to be done and my options. As most people I am little reluctanct to see the dentist until it is absolutely required. His procedures went smoothly and I was more than pleased with his work. It was a rather extensive periodontal procedure and he followed up with a phone call that evening to see how I was doing. I have never had a doctor do that. I have since returned to him for more work and I would highly reccommend his to anyone.

Dr. Choi was recommended to me by my regular dentist Dr. Chacon (who is fabulous!). I needed gum grafting, and even though I am a complete wuss on these things, Dr. Choi and his staff were marvelous. He explained everything he would do «in plain English» without the medical mumbo-​jumbo. Everyone treated me very respectfully and with great warmth. He showed me a PowerPoint of the procedure so I knew what to expect. On the day of the procedure, everything went great. I was nervous, and it was so nice that his assistant patted my hand when he gave me the shots to numb the surgical site.
He provided his cell number for questions and I thought that was great.
No one wants to have periodontal work done, but if you need it, then go to this doctor. He and his staff were courteous, professional, warm, caring, and really great. I highly recommend them without reservation.
