Established in 1990.

After being associated with a national commercial real estate brokerage firm (Marcus & Millichap) James Dye established Heritage Properties in July 1990 to serve both the residential and commercial real estate needs of his clients. Clients include: home owners, local business owners, colleges and non-​profit organizations. We are strategic, focused, and knowledgeable in the markets where we operate. We are committed to delivering the best real estate experience possible.

James Dye, Broker, is a graduate of the McIntre School of Commerce at the University of Viriginia in Charlottesville, a business school rated in the top two undergraduate business schools in the nation by US World News. In addition he holds an MBA from the George Washington University in Washington DC. James’ first career was with the Management Consulting Division of KPMG Peat Marwick where he had assignments in: Annapolis, MD; Richmond, VA; Sacramento, CA and Honolulu, HI. James has translated his analytical approach to business and his commitment to client service to his real estate career which now spans 30 years including 5 years with Marcus & Millichap in Palo Alto and 25 years with Heritage Properties. Largest single transaction: the sale of a $ 9,000,000 property. Most transactions closed with a single client: 25 transactions. Transactions completed in 2014: 51 sales.
