Barbara watched my two dogs over the holidays and I was very happy with her service. She truly cares about your pets as well as your vacation. In our initial meeting she showed expertise, integrity and commitment. While I was gone she communicated with me daily and was very dedicated, even when she was sick. I just had a baby and am not able to walk my dog, Baxter as much as he’s used to so I hired Barbara (HikePups) to take him out for me each week. I really enjoy having her take care of Baxter and he just loves her (and he hasn’t loved all of my previous dog walkers in the past). When she comes to the door, he flies outside without a second glance in my direction. I love seeing that. She sends me pictures of them walking (which I appreciate) and is very punctual and professional. She’s licensed, bonded and certified and I know if anything happened, she’d be able to take care of the situation without a problem. I wholeheartedly recommend her services and think she’s such a nice person. She’s very honest and has a great vibe about her. Thanks Barbara for taking such good care of Baxter, my 2^nd baby. :-)

Barbara took care of our two kitties while we were out of the country for 10 days. She is licensed, bonded, experienced, and a truly caring individual. Our two kitties received even more attention than I could have possibly asked for! Barbara checked on them daily, and even checked again if one of them seemed to need a little extra TLC! She brought in the mail, made sure they were fed with a clean box, cleaned their «room», and gave them plenty of attention. I received updates, movies, and pictures daily! It was wonderful to know they were not only in caring hands, but also in knowledgeable and professional hands in the event something went wrong with one of them while we were away (it didn’t, but it was nice to know ;)). We will definitely be using her again and would recommend her without reservation!

Took a quick trip to Los Angeles and had Hike Pups take care of my dog the Giant Alaskan Malamute. Barbara is experienced and professional and took great care of my hard to mange 150 lbs puppy. She was prompt, reliable, and caring, pet sitting this weekend. I was continuously getting updates on my dogs situation since it was the first time he was not boarded in a kennel. Everything went just as planned.

I must say in all sincerity that I have found the quintessential dogsitter for my dog in Barbara Adolph. She is always prompt, kind and gentle with my dog, and what’s most important is she genuinely cares about my dog as she would her own.
From the very first time she sat with my dog I felt like he was in the best hands possible. He has separation anxiety so she gives him lots of loving attention when he gets anxious. I feel so fortunate now that I have found Barbara Adolph, and I know that you will, too!

Barbara was dog until my Gypsy’s got sick with cancer then Barbara helped with pet care. She was kind to come with me at the end and help me when I had to let Gypsy go.
