I completed my dental school training in 1992 at Boston University after graduating from USC in 1988. Raised in Southern California I decided to relocate to the Bay area in 1995. I opened up my dental practice from scratch in 1999 after working for a dental start-​up company in Palo Alto. I truly love San Ramon and am passionate about dentistry. My team and I love coming into work everyday and look forward to giving our patients a unique experience.

This honestly the best office I have ever been to… Very clean the team was very nice and very understanding about my goals and need for m mouth. Dr dhaliwal is the best dentist I have ever gone to and made me feel so comfortable I no longer afraid of going to the dentist and would recommend all my friends and family to him!!!

My family has been going here for 10+ years and we have had nothing but positive experiences. Super friendly, very professional, and great laid-​back environment. Dr. Dhaliwal and his crew is very personable and social and i’t’s been a fun challenge trying to talk to them with tools in my mouth. :-) They don’t try to sell you anything, they really do care about your oral well-​being. I’d highly recommend Dr. Dhaliwal and his practice to anyone!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Dhaliwal and team. Dr. Dhaliwal is adept at reading body language in ensuring that the patient isn’t tense or in some pain. The amenities, explanation of what’s to be done, and overall environment helps me be at ease and not totally fearful of what’s to come.

I cannot say anything bad about Dr. D and his team. My family and I have trusted him with our dental care since moving to the area in 2003.
What do I like? Well, the text message appointment confirmation, front desk friendliness from Monica, the secret stash of protein shakes and drinks when your running late and need a boost.
Cathy is awesome for cleaning teeth. My kids are excited to see her and have her scrape all the built up junk from their mediocre brushings.
Dr. D and Roger are a great team for working on those fillings and other repair work.
Dr.D has made the place such a comfortable environment with neck pillows (warmed upon request) and headphones to listen to your favorite Pandora station.
One of the best things about going to his office is being treated like family. Dr. D and staff not only about your oral care but is interested in you and making sure you have an exceptional experience.

Great dentist! My 7 year old son chipped his front tooth on a late Friday afternoon. No one was at the office. I had my husband drive my son over just to see and Dr. D was there working on paperwork. He opened the door right away and began working! He did a beautiful job! You would never know he is missing part of his tooth!

Been going to this dentist office for a long time and as much as i would like to tell you its horrible (so i can keep it to myself) I wanted to give the business a great review. I am not a big fan of going to the dentist either, but with my healthcare benefits paying anyway, i thought ‘what the heck’. I started with getting cavities attended to, then teeth straightened out (Invisilign), had a cap replaced, and multiple cleanings. Each time the appointments have been prompt, the service has been great, the staff is friendly, and other services have always been offered but I never felt pushed into any service or treatment. The staff here really cares about my teeth and my dental health. My last appointment, after being reminded again and again to floss and after having switched to an electric toothbrush, was for a cleaning and the dental assistant was really happy the whole time. My gums were pink and healthy and there really wasnt much to do. This will serve me very well as i get older. Anyway, this office makes going to the dentist a pleasurable experience, which is very nice …

I’ve had a few dentists over the years after finding Dr. Dhaliwal I stayed put. I’m not a big fan of going to the dentist and who is. He’s extremely skilled and truly cares about the patient. He constantly checks to make sure you are comfortable. Kathy is amazing and also truly cares about her patients health. She takes the time to make sure you leave with the perfect cleaning. They may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I’ve had cheap dentistry, it costs more in the end. I’ve been a client for about 13 years now.

This practice tries to up-​sell you on everything. When I sat in the chair, I was asked to rate my smile from 1 to 10. Of course, no one says «10». That’s when the selling begins. I knew I was way overdue for a dental checkup but I was quite shocked when I was told I had 5 cavities, needed Invisalign, special expensive toothpaste (but I should by the more expensive 3-​step package) and an invasive periodontal below-​the-​gum line cleaning. As it turned out, upon further questioning, I was told that some of the fillings would be «preventative» to prevent some of the decay from becoming a cavities. I asked, «Is there is a chance that the decay would not progress into a cavity if I brushed and flossed diligently?» The answer was, «yes.» So why would he drill into my teeth if, with proper care, they may never develop cavities? I would never go back!

I thought the day would never come. I was a brace-​face teenager, and after years of great care, it was time to finally leave my pediatric dentist. I jumped around dentists for a couple years and I wasn’t really happy with the service I was getting. Then, I started seeing Dr. Dhaliwal, who just happened to be a neighbor of mine, and I knew my search was over. Dr. Dhaliwal and his staff epitomize professionalism and customer service. When you see them, you quickly get the impression that they all truly care about your health, as they try to make a personal connection with you the person — not just you the patient. Cathy, Dr. Dhaliwal’s hygienist, especially is a pleasure to talk to.
I know a lot of people dread going to the dentist, but with Dr. Dhaliwal taking care of you, going to the dentist doesn’t have to be such a burdened experience anymore. In fact, it can actually be quite enjoyable!

I have been going to Dr. Dhaliwal for 15 + yrs now and I think the service just keeps getting better! My wife, daughter and several friends also are patients.
Whether it is a routine cleaning or a special need, like a chipped tooth on a business trip and have an emergency they always are accommodating and go out of their way to give the best care.
I like the technology they use from emails to texts for appointments and the small camera for taking pictures of my teeth.
Dr. Dhaliwal, Charles, Cathy and Jeannine always make me feel like a valued patient!

Dr. Dhalial and his staff are very professional and polite. As a patient I felt very welcome and I always was very happy with his work. Recently I needed a new crown which is typically a painful procedure. Dr. Dhaliwal and his team worked in such a soft way that I did not feel any pain. At the end they provided and implemented a temporary crown which fit so well that I had the feeling it could be the final one. After a couple of weeks he replaced the temporary crown with the final one — again I felt no pain. I can strongly recommend Dr. Dhaliwal and his team.

I have to say that this was THE BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER! The office staff was welcoming and friendly. The dental hygienist, who I know to be passionate about her work, was the best. They offer you beverages, heated neck pad, headphones to listen to music and the most comprehensive care. WOW! If you live in the East Bay and you want a GREAT dentist… go here! Hey, I drove here from Morgan Hill and it was totally worth it.
