I attempted to contact MY attorney to discuss why I’m being sued. I’ve never missed a payment, yet he’s claiming that I haven’t paid. My own attorney says he lives WAY above his means, and gas absolutely no respect for him. When I attempted to call and talk to my attorney, his secretary was informed not to allow anyone else to discuss billing. Recently, he’s taken over billing for the firm. Is this a coincidence? I think not!
The first indication that he lives such a lavish lifestyle on the backs of clients that have no money was the fact that he went and cheated in his wife of 20+ years. He traded her in for a thine model, half his age. Then, he has a brand new car delivered to his office for her. After I got sick of his crap, he lost his office in San Leandro, shortly thereafter. He swore that he’d «tell every lawyer in town what a horrible receptionist I am». All of that because I refused to make billing calls with my personal cellphone! It secure a job that I was at for years. What a small world it is, too! My new boss saw his picture and said «That was one of my high school teachers»! She even named him. She said that he was a very abrupt, difficult person to be around. I guess he became a lawyer and got worse!

This guy actually said to me «I’m coming after you and I’m going to take everything you have». I swear to you that was after 10 minutes of speaking with him. I dare you to try and find a lower human on this earth than Allan Frumkin. Even on a scale of one to divorce lawyer, he is still complete scum. He reaks of unprofessionalism and his office is practically in the horse stables of Loomis. The best advice I can give you is to read the other Unilocal reviews. If you still choose to do business with this guy then you deserve the representation you get. I hope you’re ready to spend a lot of money for very little reward.

He’s been disciplined by the State Bar — PLEASE go to the CA State Bar (#50 543) website and read about his scrupulousness! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS IMMORAL, DISHONEST, RUDE, ARROGANT, SHAMELESS PIECE OF GARBAGE! Disgusting human!!! He operates in San Ramon AND Penryn, CA. There are truly just no words to describe this individual. There is nothing this ass deserves more than to loose his license. He has NO IDEA what he’s doing. He’s a scandalous CROOK! The reviews are SOOOO… dead on!!! He screwed me out of over $ 80,000. INSANE! He’ll nickel and dime you to death! Yes, the reviewer that said he charges half an hour (at $ 350.00 an hour) to read a two line email… yep! No reputable attorney would ever even think of doing that! Thinks nothing of charging this outrageousness — $ 150-​$ 250! Check your invoices carefully. I caught him double billing me several times! After he lost my case and after going thorough four or five attorneys (they all quit… hmmm…imagine that!) — I finally got a REAL attorney to resolve the case in a matter of weeks — not years and for an actual discussed, agreed to in writing, very reasonable capped amount of money! I could continue on and on. All these reviewers have made clear, detailed, honestly sincere comments. Frumkin is a true scoundrel — ZERO compassion or respect for anyone — drives a Mercedes convertible and lives in a mansion in Granite Bay, CA. Lastly, he’s bald, about five foot two, and a good 300+ pounds… gives attorneys a bad name. I should have sued him! (Oh that’s right, he doesn’t carry malpractice insurance.) Someone will — he’s such a fraud. PLEASE stay away and spread his name through every form of media available. Thank you to everyone who has spoken their mind about their experiences with him. If you haven’t, please, please, do for the sake of others!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GROUP! You have a better chance representing yourself. All they do litigate (lots and lots of unnecessary paper work) and charge you extreme prices for nothing. He will bill you $ 350 per hour and he claims it takes a half hour for a one line email.
If you have tons of money you want to give away to a greedy scumbag, call this office. If you love to be yelled at, talked downto, love being harassed and mistreated call this office. If you love being taken advantage of both, financially and emotionally during the period of time when you need real support, call this office.
If you want a lawyer, call someone else. I can go on and on about how bad this «service» was. By far hands down the worst experience I have ever had with anyone ever. Just look at all the very negative things people have to say about this guy. Its not a coincidence that everyone writing about this guy has nothing but bad things to say.

The worse part about this firm is that I worked for them and always had doubts about Mr. Frumkin as he has absolutely NO human compassion whatsoever, but recently devastated to the maximum by Stephen Sirota. I believe he may have alzheimers or something because he destroyed my case as well as my trust and confidence in him. THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVERRRR!!! Even my Chiropractor was urging me to try another firm as she had major doubts after speaking with Stephen on a conference call. Do not use them! You will be sorry. I can pretty much guarantee it! Extremely negligent and lazy. I should sue them!!!

SCUMBAG. Is that one word or two? This so-​called attorney should be disbarred immediately. This jerk is so hard-​up for money he takes advantage of a single mother of 5? What a low-​life loser. Unfortunately have to give one star to rate this pathetic crap but he can shove the one star up his hole. Nice name FRUMPKIN. Hahaha… what are you up to? Revenge on all the pretty ladies that made fun of you growing up?

The worst lowlife, subhuman, immoral, obnoxious, male chauvinist, biggotted «man» [I use the term «man» lightly]. He does not listen, gives the same canned speech EVERY single time you have an appointment, taking up anytime you might have for questions. After not doing his job and sending me the invoice for the month, stating I had a considerable amount [about 1/​3] of my retainer available– I stated he was no longer needed for assisstance [Trying to be polite, nothing I could say would change this man’s practices.] The next day he sent a new invoice… not only saying I had no retainer being returned, but in the course of 24 hours I had incurred an additonal $ 1700 in charges. If in need of services you run across this man? RUNNNNNN the other way! If you feel this sounds harsh, let me assure you, this is quite charitable considering some of the horrendous things that took place during a very difficult time… He was so awful I almost thought cuss words!

The only reason they are getting one star is cause i cant give them no stars… I hired allans law firm to help me with my Child custody case. we received Mr. Sirota… BAD LAWYER!!! he did nothing went throug my retainer in a matter of days for nothing. He promised me tons of things that he was going to do and nothing ever got done. The final straw was when i was 8 months pregnant and we had a court date. Who did not show up Mr. sirota, when i called him he told me to informe the judge that he double booked and that we were asking for a new court date. First off you dont INFORME a judge of anything BAD BAD BAD idea. she then proceded to yell at me and looked at me like it was my fault. that day i fired him. he informed me that i couldnt fire him. and that he would not be giving me my papaerwork. to this day i still dont have my paperwork. so i disided i wasnt going to pay him anymore money because he was a BAD lawyer. about 3 years later there office got ahold of my nice reception lady and i told her my issue that i didnt feel like i needed to pay him for doing nothing and she trasfered my to ALLAN FRUMKIN who was the rudes asshole i have ever met he didnt want to hear anything i had to say about his lawyer all he kept saying was ive worked with him for 20 years he is a great lawyer. BULLSHIT!!!

I agree with the reviewers. Mr Frumkin has designed his practice to get money to him. My ex-​wife hired him, and immediately ran out of money to pay him. He had the court in Alameda County, the family court, assess me fees for her to pursue me. Since she has no financial responsibility, my ex-​wife had no problem running the bill and dragging out the case as long as possible. At the end, she is still hiding behind him. She is still behind compensating me for her share of our child’s education and expenses. According to our son who was dumped by her, she has moved out of town and is hiding out of the county. Her new attorney has not returned my attorney’s letters and calls for over a year.

No different than the sound beacon attracting the merchant ship in the original Alien movie, This sad man sends out a signal and can attract people to him, only the signal is actually a warning sign to stay away!
Shame on you, those who work for Allan, becuase you know full well of his wrong behavior. Yet you still work for him and help to take advantage of people. Your choice to continue to work for him makes you actually worse than he, for he is the untreated Narissist but you engage with your eyes fully open. Shame shame.

Alan Frumpkin handled my divorce case. He chrarged me $ 138K and did NOTHING! He messed up my case until I fired him & took over my own case with no lawyer. I did much better than him. At least I could put an end to my divorce. I DO NOT recom him to anyone. He has no clue about the case once he goes to court bc all other new grad lawyers handle all his paper works. IF I had any time I would report him to the bar to take his license away!

I agree 100% with the other reviewers Frumkin handled my case several years ago and for 36k later got me in worse situation than i had been. When I woke up and realized am being snookered.
Just like those review preceeding this:
— had one of his junior lawyer mess my case up so bad that I myself had to untangle it and had to fight the charges I was billed for their stupidity… he did fire that lawyer afterwards. I was being charged for junior attorney the same as him mind you not same as per hour but that junior attorney would take longer doing the same thing essentially costing same if not more.
— He was so bad one of his helpers told me to get a better lawyer, and I did for less money per hour… the new attorney was able resolve issues that frumkin wouldn’t.
— He would have the audacity that he wrote a letter to another attorney stating how I could NOT afford any more lawyer fees that as soon as he was done his next discussion was about his paying more on his high legal billing for not resolving anything after I just paid him two days before — that put me over the edge to find someone else.
— After I got another attorney and he was removed as my attorney he failed to hand over my files to me. The new attorney had to write letters (which add costs to me) that those files are mine as I bought and paid for them. He refused to listen until a letter referencing the bar association of such activity did he relent and he only allowed me to PHOTOCOPY my own legal files… which took 6 hours and he wanted to charge me for doing so which the other attorney fought so I would not… LEGALLY YOUR ENTITLED TO YOUR FILE AND IF YOU REMOVE SUCH ATTORNEY HE IS TO HAND YOU OVER THOSE FILES.
I could go on but you do so at your own financial and emotional risk…

Allan Frumkin represented my mother in a case involving her ex-​daughter-​in-​law and a lawsuit my ex-​wife filed against her for her interest in a house that my mother owned outright while we lived there. In the course of our divorce, my ex filed a frivolous lawsuit alleging that she was part owner of the home. Mr. Frumkin not only failed to adequately represent my mother but allowed a newly employed attorney with six months experience in his firm to handle the bulk of my case. This lawyer, a young girl, made a complete mess of things and the firm charged my mom repeatedly for work that had to be re-​done due to the inexperienced attorney’s mistakes. In the end, my ex-​wife dropped the case due to her knowing that she would never be able to win in court but Mr. Frumkin, after repeated mistakes, was unable to regain a dime of my mom’s legal fees which, due to the totally frivolous nature of this case, should have been at least partially awarded.
