Just went in for a smog check this morning. Competitive price. Very friendly and very quick. Would go back again.

SWINDLERS! Won’t honor coupon! Had a written letter from «Joe» that next time would be $ 20 out the door. Just tried to use it and claims he «doesn’t remember» and won’t honor it. I would give 0 stars if possible!

Called earlier in the day to get a price quote. Arrived at 5pm, coupon said they close at 6 and they were already closed. Door had 6pm on it too. Frustrating! Took my business elsewhere.

Smog check itself was fine. They didn’t provide Unilocal price, the price quoted on-​site was nearly double the price. When I told them the price was high, they offered a small discount. When I mentioned the Unilocal deal, they cut the price in half, but then added $ 10 because I have a hybrid. Pricing should be consistent across the board.

This is the third time we have used this place since moving to San Ramon and they have been fast with great service each time. They are upfront with prices and we will keep using them in the future.

Picked them up because of their rating on Unilocal.Job finished within 15 minutes, did not need an appointment. Efficient, courteous and more importantly price is very reasonable. Intend to use them going forward.

Smog check is a necessary evil; well, not really necessary for environmental protection as this program does very little to fulfill that intent, but necessary for you to be a fully compliant vehicle owner in the great state of California. But I digress.
As I learned somewhat the hard way after moving to this fine state, this is a cottage industry fraught with shysters and crooks looking to overcharge and/​or inconvenience you for what is really a simple and quick process.
Through a bit of trial and error, I ended up here a few years ago and I’ve made it my go-​to spot when that bi-​annual notice shows up in my mailbox. My experiences here have been quick and relatively painless, and at a reasonable and predictable price. Grab a coupon (any number of ways, including via a Unilocal!check-​in) and be prepared to pay more than the $ 24.95 you’ll see in bold print. If you’re surprised at the price tag, it is no fault but your own. Oh, and the coupon is a CASH price as it clearly states. Do your homework, pass your test, then swing by In-​and-​Out down the street if you still have cash left. Good luck, kids!

So Agree with others! This place is your typical BAIT AND SWITCH. Charged me more because «BMW’s are giving us problems. I said who’s problem is that? Then I said why don’t you note that on your coupon. He pointed to Luxury Vehicles being more $$ which is total nonsense. First, they make no reference to what a luxury vehicle is. Regardless its all the same they pop the hood, plug in the OBD2 connector under the dash and walk around the car. These unscrupolous people need to be investigated further. Local TV is a good start!

I always take my car here when I need a smog check. One of the guys gave me a great tip about an exhaust leak and even gave me a number of a place close by to go get it repaired. The Unilocal coupon offer is definitely the way to go here though!

Don’t believe the prices. You get what you pay for. And don’t drive in a compact SUV because they will charge you for an additional $ 10 SUV price. And they will charge you another $ 20 if your vehicle does not pass smog. There are several other places that will do much better.

I was able to use the Unilocal coupon (cash price) and was in and out in 15 mins for $ 33.20. Highly recommend :)

Super fast and great customer service! While we were waiting, one of the guys helped me out with a couple of other little things which is so rare nowadays and that was just as special as a smog can get.

This will probably my go to place to get my smog check. I called Anthony the day before I was going to get smogged.
I told him I had seen his coupon and was going to use it. He told me to just come in and not worry about the coupon. He did charge an additional $ 5 for my Lexus which is stated in their coupon.
Overall satisfied. I was in and out in 15 mins with the paperwork for about $ 38. Also, there were no line that morning. I showed up about 5 mins early before it opened but there was no one in line.
Make sure to mention the coupon if you go. Also i think that the coupon doesn’t apply if your car is a 95 or older.

These guys are unethical. They said they will charge me $ 40 for smog recheck and once the smog testing was done, they said it will be $ 60 because their manager did not approve the price. This is the reason shops like these lose business, they lost long time customer just to make few extra bucks once. Not recommended!!!

This place is your typical BAIT AND SWITCH. The Devil is in the details with the coupon. I ended up paying $ 63 for my smog check on a 1997 Honda that has a 2 liter 4 cylinder engine. He said because its a star mandated vehicle the price is $ 53 and then charged me an extra $ 10 because he thought the little old honda mini-​van (and I mean MINI) was an SUV. Why because its harder to walk around the extra 6 inches of length from some normal american car? why because the single tailpipe is different from any other normal sedan? Why because the 2 liter 4 banger is smaller than any other vehicle these days? Total nickel and dimer here. And then because i wanted to use a credit card — he charged me an arbitrary $ 2 more! I asked why and where this policy is posted or printed and he just mumbled some reason.
Go somewhere else. Unless you are fully aware of all the little fine print.

I had to get my Escalade Smoged and usually go to the one in Dublin. However, when I Unilocaled the address a new San Ramon location opened up at the 76 gas station on the corner of San Ramon Valley Blvd. and Crow Canyon Rd. I made a quick left at the light and arrived at 11:52 am and was done and out by 12:03. There is a Unilocal discount for $ 35 and out the door was $ 44. (cash only) Woohoo !

I was in and out within 20 minutes. It cost about $ 40 to get my commuter car smoged. They are located across from AAA (San Ramon) so it was convenient. I was able to get my car smoged and go get the tags from AAA. They are located next to a gas station. Tiny little waiting area.
