We had some widespread repairs that needed to be done in our home after some other work was completed. Most importantly we wanted the old school hand applied skip trowel texture to match that existing on the walls and ceilings. We contacted several companies and received quotes from all. Jeff, the owner, of Cushings Painting & Drywall called back within 5 minutes of leaving him a message. He was on time to estimate the job scope and delivered the estimate 3 days later as promised. Jeff was very open to answering any and all questions that we had and returned phone calls within minutes. Jeff’s estimate was competitive and his professional, friendly attitude won us over. That alone in the world of contractors should be enough to win his business.
Jeff performed the work on our home over 4 days. His communication was excellent and he was on time every day. Great care was taken to insure the work space remained clean and that nothing was damaged! Jeff worked efficiently and did a great job repairing and matching the existing texture. We couldn’t be happier with the results and will use Jeff for any work we need done in the future. We highly recommend Cushing Painting & Drywall!

Rob and Jeff are top notch professionals. I interviewed five painters to paint our daughter’s room. None of the others impressed me and one of them was a complete gabehcoud (you can read that word back words). For the room we needed painted we had pricing all over the board.
I spoke and met with Rob. He was very friendly, responsive, and their quote was very fair. Immediately, I felt very comfortable to make my decision to hire them without consulting husband.
Their turnaround time was fast. We met last week, I had an instant quote (because it was a small job), I received the contract a few days later, and Jeff was at my house exactly 1 week later.
Jeff was punctual, courteous, professional, and very friendly. He got down to business, painted the room and ensured my satisfaction with the job and color. He talked to me about what needed to be down and made sure he understood what I wanted.
It is clear their objective is two-​fold: quality work and customer satisfaction. After my experience with them and compared to other painters I interviewed or worked with, Cushing blows the competition out of the paint can (ha!)
With that said, we have a big house that will eventually require updating/​painting/​staining and we know who to call for that work: Cushing!

We have a large, almost 5000 square foot house that hadn’t been painted since we bought it in 2002. We interviewed/​received bids from three painters, including Jeff Cushing who was recommended by our neighbor, a general contractor. Jeff’s bid was the most competitive and he seemed the most knowledgeable and attuned to our needs, so we hired him to paint our home, inside and out. We definitely made a great choice.
The paint on the outside and inside looks absolutely gorgeous, by all accounts. Jeff and his partner Ryan did a first rate, professional job. On the outside, they cleaned up everything first by doing a very thorough job on the power washing. They also fixed some large stucco cracks on the outside, and we can’t see them anymore. The inside needed some dry walling and those holes were expertly patched as well.
We kept adding smaller painting jobs on the inside: an area of cabinets upstairs, the fireplace hearths, the kitchen Island; Jeff said «Yes» to everything we asked, always with a great attitude, and the extra charges were minimal.
Jeff and Ryan are an excellent team: They were always on time and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. Very impressive. If you need your house painting, power washing, or if dry walling, we give the highest recommendation to Cushing Painting and Drywall.

I selected Jeff after seeing his work on a friends home. The house had perfect paint lines between wall and ceiling. He prepped my home before starting making sure everything was covered and taped. He showed up on time and left the house clean. His work is very impressive. Highly recommend.

I hired Jeff and Rob to paint the exterior of my house. From my initial contact through the completion of the project, they were professional, meticulous, reliable, reasonable and forthcoming.
Jeff came to my home, brought a thick «book» of paint swatches and provided suggestions in selecting the perfect color combination. On the following morning, Rob and Jeff arrived — on time — to begin the work, In the past, I have hired some pretty flaky people to work on my homes. That was definitely not the case with Jeff and Rob. They exceeded all of my expectations in their professionalism.
The painting of my house took several days from start to finish, and each day, I would come home and check out their progress. It was such a pleasure to watch them transform a faded mess into a beautiful home. Their work is absolutely flawless!
