What a nice friendly man who loves what he does. This is no simple massage. This is an interesting and effective form of physical therapy that allows you to regain full range of motion. He knows his anatomy and sports injuries. He also discussed how to maintain range of motion and gives you the power to play your sport again.

Thor seemed like a nice guy during my first and only session. The treatment did not offer me any relief from the pain, but I had read about Myofascial Release Therapy and wanted to give it a chance, so I purchased a 4 pack session.
Well, that was the one and only session I received. Thor never responded to my calls. I even visited him at his office to speak to him in person to ask why he was not responding. He said «he was with a patient and would call me later» He never called me, so I called again, he never called back.
After a month of trying to schedule an appointment I gave up and disputed the charges with my credit card company. Visa reimbursed me and is now going after his practice for the money.
I was flat out cheated by Thor.

I had never heard of myofascial release. Thor explained the concept as a methodology for manipulating connective tissue to relieve pain, tightness, and discomfort. This protocol is extremely effective and doesn’t hurt.
Don’t expect the oily thump thump body massage at the Vegas casino. This is real therapy and more clinical. Thor Hanson’s acumen/​technique is first-​rate and myofascial release therapy can get expensed from an FSA/​HSA account which knocks the already fair price down considerably. This was a terrific value and to top it off he’s a nice guy too.

If you have any lingering pain or just feel out of balance, I highly recommend Thor Hanson.

Thor is patient — always trying to find the root of any pain or issues you may be experiencing, and he spends time working with you to solve any areas of tension that have been built up over time.

I experienced a very peaceful healing journey in the hour I spent in the hands of Thor Hanson. Hard to describe since the myofacial release experience is not really like massage as much as healing hands doing something very calming to the body and easing any discomforts it may be experiencing. Magnificent — perhaps mystical in some way, because of the memories it called up and allowed me to release — soothing, freeing. Thor has such a calming energy about him and he brings that to his work. You have to experience it to understand what I mean, but I wanted to let folks know that you can expect a GREAT experience!

I am lucky to have been referred to Thor Hanson~ He not only is amazing at his profession, but also takes the time to get to know his clients. You get what you pay for in life and this is a perfect example. Thor takes the time to get to know you while putting together the perfect therapy session. Thor has warm, soft and strong fingers that worked in wavelike motion over my tight lumpy muscles and melted them into a puddle. His demeanor is calm, and I could feel that soothing energy as soon as he put his hands on my back. He takes his time, and his fluid motions are complete (not the quick jerky motions of lesser masseuses). He pays attention to trouble spots and spends extra time smoothing away those kinks.
The place itself was simple but comfortable, and the overall experience was very relaxing. His regular rates are a little steep ($ 125/​hour for myofascial release therapy and $ 105/​hour for Swedish/​Deep Tissue), but he certainly does good work.
