The tech, Zachary, called prior to the appointment and arrived on time. He explained the process and started working immediately. He spent nearly 2 ½ hours cleaning all of the carpeting in the house. I have had the current carpets cleaned more than 6 times previously and this was, by far, the best job of them all. He was able to treat stains that were not removed by previous carpet cleaning services. On top of that, the charges for the cleaning were 25% less than previous services. I will certainly use Oxi Fresh again and would highly recommend them over other carpet cleaning services.

The technician Zach, called ahead to let me know he was on his way. He arrived early and was very personable. I showed him the two rooms and two walk-​in closets. The pricing was consistent with the mailer coupon I received. Zach provided some vacuuming tips regarding my central vacuum system. The cleaning process went well and I was impressed with how little water the process used compared with those truck mounted systems. The carpets came out nice and the cleaning process left no solvent odor or residue on the carpet. The carpets were three years old and had never been cleaned so they were due. The drying time was about an hour but would be quicker in the summer. Over all a good experience, especially given Saturday appointments are available.

Received a couple of coupons for carpet cleaning in a Value-​Pak mailer. Wasn’t sure which company to use, so I checked reviews of both and decided to try OxiFresh — the reviews, plus the safe chemical treatment (there’s a 4 month old in the house) were the deciding factors. The technician, Marcus, was about 50 minutes late (came from the north, traffic?) and that concerned me as I had a party at 5 pm and he was just arriving before 2 pm. (I had called Monday, that was earliest time available!) Oyyy. .. He and his partner, Isaiah, did a great job. They did have a personal car but managed to pull out a decent sized machine that worked it’s magic, helped by pre-​treating tougher stains. The process was quoted as taking less than 90 minutes and it was about spot-​on. The dry time turned out to be about 90 minutes, too, not bad considering the cooler, moist weather that day, So the party issue was fine. Thankfully, no spills that night either !! This carpet had not been professionally cleaned in well over 5 years, and rarely was even vacuumed. With people, a dog and cats, that created a carpet I was actually thinking about turning into hardwood flooring, especially with new «little» people joining the household. Some of the stains were quite visually arresting, as well, plus an over-​all dinginess to the former white carpet. But now, I think we’ll try another cleaning a few months from now and see how it looks. Hardwood on hold — not at all what I expected. A very good result. Marcus did mention some other options for the future (such as deep cleaning the traffic through-​ways) and I think it will encourage us to keep the carpet a few more years. Marcus and Isaiah were great for moving furniture, making sure everything was cleaned and squeegeed, and then replacing furniture. All I did was stay out of the way. I will try one more time for a deeper cleaning (after the coming rainy, muddy season). Aside from the late arrival, I had no issues with the service or price ($ 150 for two large living areas and an 8 by 10 foot area rug). I recommend others try this service.

I decided to try this on the basis of the coupon and description of it being safe for children and animals (I have both) and is water saving. The rugs really were dry in an hour, apart from the extra treated high traffic areas which took a little linger. No nasty smells or crustiness. Booking over the phone was easy. The technician who came, Marcus, was prompt, polite, dedicated and very informative. He worked with me to do the rooms in a certain order that I needed for timing reasons. His work was very detailed and he got out all sorts of super dark spots that had emerged in the white rug after I bought the home. They were stains from a previous occupant that started to show up over time, since the carpets were «clean» when I bought the house. The rugs are older, and the two high traffic spots are pretty stained. He improved those but the process couldn’t take it all out. 4 stars for now, because I just had this done, and am waiting to see if the spots come back the way they did before. I don’t know who cleaned it before, so we will see if the claims of OxiFresh are true that the stains don’t come back. Thanks Marcus!
PS, per the other reviewer — It didn’t bother me that he brought his equipment in a car, nor what it looks like as long as it does the job. So far, it seems to have worked fine for me.

The technician arrived almost an hour late in a small unmarked personal car (not a van), and after looking at the house, said that it was late in the day, and that he wouldn’t be able to move any furniture to clean under it. He then told me that the $ 140 estimate we got on the phone (with the coupon) was wrong, and that it would cost almost double: $ 240. After that shocker, I reluctantly agreed to the new price as I needed the carpets cleaned fast. He then proceeded to soak the darker areas with «pre-​treat» solution and began to clean the first flight of stairs with his small machine, which looked like a bent-​metal Soviet-​era contraption that was much less sophisticated then the units available for rent at the local hardware store.
After working on about six stairs, the machine stopped, and he told me that it was broken. He tried to fix it for over an hour (with electrical tape and a screwdriver he borrowed from me), but was unable to… he showed me where one of the internal high-​voltage wires had frayed and was at risk of shorting out. In the meantime, my carpets were soaked with the pre-​treat cleaning solution. He said he could come back the next morning. I didn’t pay him anything for the steps he «worked on.» I told him that I would be available at 11:30 the next morning, and he assured me he would be back with a new machine.
The next morning I looked at the top six steps he had «cleaned» the previous day. They were still damp, and they were no cleaner then the bottom steps on that flight. We waited at home that Saturday morning, but by noon he didn’t show up. I left several messages on his cell phone, which he returned at 12:15, saying there wasn’t another machine available. He said he would be there at some point that day, but couldn’t tell me when. At that point, I told him not to bother and called another service. They should be here later today. Avoid this service.
