These guys do the best work in Marin County… easily. Not the cheapest option in town, and not the most expensive option in town… just really nice people who stand behind their work… and really know the job.
Earl is great. I just brought my first car there, and now I’m going to bring the rest of our cars there. I was referred to these guys through another auto business in town, and I’m glad they did. Earl has saved me a bunch of money…

Words cannot describe the condition of my truck after a long weekend driving off road — there were thousands of scratches from where it had been driven through manzinita bushes. I went to 4 body shops each of which said I would need a full paint job which would be $ 10K+. The 5^th body shop recommended that I check out Earl before starting the insurance claim.
I met with Earl and he was straight up. He named very fair price and said he could get out 90% of the scratches in 2 days. He removed 99% of the scratches in less than a day — his crew exceeded my expecations.
Beside the buffing/​scratch removal, the rest of the detail job was amazing — my truck is cleaner than the day I drove it off the lot.
To top things off, Earl dropped me off at work, and picked me up after hours (I had to work until 8PM) to ensure that I wouldn’t be burdened by lack of transportation the following morning
Bottom line: Earl and his crew deliver exceptional results at extremely reasonable prices. Do not go anywhere else, take your car/truck./boat to On Location Mobile Detailing!

To write a proper review, I first have to invent a better word than «detailing»…“perfectionating???”…what Earl and his staff do for cars is way beyond merely thoroughing washing, cleaning, vacuuming, waxing, buffing, polishing, etc, etc. Earl always delivers! I am VERY picky — before I met Earl, I used to detail my own car (6 hours of backbreaking work and it’s *small*) because I couldn’t find someone treated my car with the TLC I do. Earl and his staff do an amazing job, and always have my cars looking car show/​showroom ready. On top of doing perfect jobs, he is super flexible and works around my schedule, and all at unbeatable prices! If you LOVE your car, if you’re selling and want to get top price, if your car needs to impress, if you want to keep your car’s value, have Earl take care of you!

I had my car detailed here. I’m over the moon happy with the excellent job done. My friend said to me that my car looked like a new car. Earl and his staff are easy to approach, fair in their pricing, and think of everything. A medium-​sized dent in a hard to get to place has been banned to another galaxy. I told him it reminded me of Ball Park Franks — plumped up and everything. WHOO HOO! I will definitely be back and I will definitely tell my friends. You can’t go wrong with ON LOCATION.

This is one of the most hones, reliable and consistent detailers in this area, «Earl» the owner is a very well RESPECTED and Liked business owner in this area, and before passing judgement either try them for yourself or speak with one of the local busineses in the area.

I would definitely not use this company again. What they do, they do well. The potential damage will cost you a lot in repairs. My very strong suggestion is to go elsewhere. Man do I wish I’d washed my own car that day.

Yes — «magic» is the word that comes to mind. My 2000 Saab was disgusting, and not fit to sell, let alone ride in. Earl worked his magic and — voila! — my car was more beautiful then when I first bought it. Run, do not walk, to this business and enjoy a shiny new car at a reasonable price. Thanks, Earl!

Hello, I’m Gabe’s Car. I’ve been abused, neglected, bashed into things, subjected to his questionable driving skills, shoehorned into to too small parking spaces, left with valets who have the driving skills of drunk Hessians, beshat by all species of avian menace, and washed with a frequency approaching that of Halley’s comet. And yet I provide consistent, expeditious, and tireless transport to he and his cavorting cohorts. What thanks do I get? Well, every couple of years, he takes me to get detailed. Recently, he’s been to lazy to do even that, and I have suffered stoically under the yoke of this cruel, cruel master. But lo! He found these guys who come to your home or place of work, and for a paltry sum of $ 200 rejuvenate cars like me to a wondrous luster. After a thorough vacuum, shampoo, polish, buffing, hand waxing, and window cleaning, I rise, like a phoenix from the ashes of my former self. It’s an automotive day-​spa of sorts. All of the other cars keep asking if I’m a newer model year. Most are convinced that I’ve had «body work» done. Nope, just three hours in the capable hands of these capable fellows and I feel like I just drove off the showroom floor. They’re based in Marin, but they’re willing to meet you in SF or the East Bay if you’re flexible.
