10 stars to Northgate florist! (100 stars if I could!) This really speaks to how amazing Soheila and Saeed of Northgate are. Not only were they very kind, but they delivered on everything I asked for and more!
Soheila was our wedding florist and did the bridal bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, groom’s boutonnière, wedding cake accents, centerpieces and altar pieces. The flowers were romantic and classic with all white/​crème and green hues. Just magnificent.
Quality: Soheila is an extremely talented florist. I showed her a couple of images of what I was envisioning, and she executed to a T. In fact, her arrangements were even more beautiful than the images I showed her. All my guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were!
Value: I appreciated that Soheila was budget conscious. She provided the most beautiful arrangement while staying within my stated budget.
Responsiveness: She was great to work with, very easy to communicate with, and had many great suggestions as we were brainstorming various ideas.
Overall, if you are looking for a professional wedding florist with a fantastic vision, go to Northgate Florist. You will not be disappointed.

Terrible terrible terrible!!! I will never use this florist or recommend it to anyone again!
When I got my flowers the flower peddles were already dying and the next day I came to work flowers that weren’t even bloomed yet fell out. My boyfriend made a complaint because he paid $ 90 and got shitty flowers and the Indian woman who worked there called me and basically blamed me for the reason why the flowers were dying. She said it was too warm in my work. She was rude and gave me a attitude. So basically she didn’t admit she was wrong. DO NOT US THIS FLORIST!!!

I received a tropical bouquet as a thank you from Northgate. BEAUTIFUL, fresh and arranged in such a lovely way. I stopped in last week to see who is in the shop. The owner and his wife are just as lovely, helpful and sincere. They know a lot about flowers and carry good quality products in their store from what I saw. Because they are from another country I can see misspellings if one is not patient. They are very kind people working hard to do their best. I’ll be coming to them for my own flowers for others!

The guy that works here is so nice! You can tell he takes pride in what he does. My boyfriend and I were getting a bouquet for a family friend and said we wanted something between $ 25-​$ 30. He outlined the prices of each flower and we picked what he want with some help from him. The total was a little over $ 30 but the service was excellent!

Bottom of the barrel. Charged my mother in law who is in the floral business to deliver a gift basket full of dollar store stale crap in a gift basket. We have never had such awful service from a florist in San Rafael, nor would my Mother in Law’s shop tolerate such a travesty. Stay away at all costs, they are worthless and cannot spell a simple name right on a card. Try anyone BUT these guys. The entire basket could not have cost them 10 dollars, but they charge 70 and show up late and everything is stale and cheap. The worst.
This is an edit, you either need to step up to some new business practices, or find something else to do.

Well, I waited all day for my friend to call me and say thank you for the flowers’…but nothing. Finally, I could take it no more and called her. She had no idea that flowers were coming to her, and she hadn’t received anything.
So, I called the florist and she called me back the next morning and said that since it was raining, she wanted to make sure my friend was home. She also said she called three times to the address and no one answered.
I then asked the florist why she didn’t call me (she had my cell number) and was told that she didn’t see the need!!!
There was no apology, but she did credit my account.
Just bad service on her part, and I think the truth is that the flowers were simply not delivered. My friend was home all day and did not receive one phone call.

Excellent arrangements and quick service! You can call and get flowers on the way that are just gorgeous! Friendly staff and awesome to work with!

I normally hate going to a florist because they tend to be a rip-​off. But for a friend’s birthday, I wanted something more special than Safeway flowers so I popped into Northgate Florist.
It’s a one-​woman show in here. She answers phones, creates the arrangements, runs the register, and she is fantastic. I told her I wanted a bouquet and that I needed to keep it around $ 30. After asking me whether I wanted scented or unscented flowers, she began swooping around the shop, picking up two of these, three of these, and creating a gorgeous bouquet before my eyes in about 20 seconds. As she was performing her wizardry, she told me to stop her if I didn’t like something she chose, but there was no need. She wrapped it beautifully and was just SO NICE. It felt good to support this local business-​owner.
The shop is small but has a really good selection. There are all sorts of prepared arrangements and plants, stuffed animals, vases, and greeting cards. Delivery is available in Marin County. I will definitely have arrangements made here in the future.

I ordered a floral arrangement for a family member’s funeral. First, they said that the price on their web page was incorrect and that it was $ 20 more. They blamed Teleflora for the discrepancy although the web site was under their own name.
When I saw the flowers at the funeral service they were wilted. I asked them in writing for a refund and they never responded, so I asked the credit card company to dispute the charge. Eventually the dispute dept. told me that the flowers needed to be returned for refund. Like I was going to take a bunch of flowers away from someone’s casket to get a refund!

This is kind of weird. My birthday is next Wednesday, and my boyfriend called 1−800-flowers to have flowers delivered to my work. (Nice guy). Anyway 1−800-flowers goes through florists that are closest to the address they need to deliver to, in this case Northgate Florist. So, today, a week before my birthday, I get flowers delivered to work. Their mistake.
My boyfriend called them and yelled at them or whatever, words were exchanged, and they said they were going to deliver flowers AGAIN on my actual birthday to make up for it. Then I went to lunch. When I get back, there is a guy from the flower shop waiting for me. He said he came to take back the delivery, since they are now delivering them next week. I was like «you want me to GIVE BACK the flowers?»
SO I told him I would rather keep the ones I have now then give them back and get them again next week (what were they gonna do with them anyway? Give them to someone else? Keep them in the freezer until next week?). He called his boss to approve, and told me «she said it doesn’t make a difference in profit to her so if thats what you want to do, ok»…
It was really awkward and unprofessional, in my opinion. Then my boyfriend had to call 1−800-flowers again and what ended up happening is that they are going to send «a few» flowers next week and an apology letter.
Good thing I have a sense of humor…
