My husband and I are so glad we hired Kelly when we decided to take his ex back to court after settlement. It was a super ugly divorce and the idea of going back to court was terrifying. Kelly is a straight shooter. It just gives you an example of the kind of lawyer she is, she’s not all about driving up the billable hours, she charges what is fair.
We were also impressed with her experience and knowledge. It is so important to have an attorney who has practiced in your county for a long time. When we asked if we could file for sanctions because the other side wasn’t cooperating with discovery she told us that the judge on our case almost never awards sanctions and may be upset that we asked for them. A less experienced attorney or one who hasn’t been before these judges often might have steered us wrong. It really pays to have someone who has practiced in the area for more than 10 years.
