Dr. Mah grew up in the Terra Linda area and is an alumni of Terra Linda High School. He received his Bachelors of Science degree from U.C. Berkeley and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1990.

Dr.Mah is married to Joan, an optometrist at San Rafael Kaiser, and has three boys. In his spare time, he is out on the tennis courts.

Dr. Mah is a wonderful dentist and I have been seeing him for years. His staff is professional and kind. They are always on time.
My husband recently left his dentist in SF and is now seeing Dr. Mah and is impressed.
It is always such an easy appointment, not wait time, easy parking, quick and thorough work.

I’ve been going to this location since I was 5 years old! I will be 50 next year. Dr. Jerry Binnings was my dentist for 40 years. Dr. Mah has taken over Dr. Binning’s practice and updated the office with state-​of-​the-​art equipment. He is honest, gentle and professional as well as being detailed in his work. The staff is very efficient and friendly. Anyone looking for a new dentist, this is a no-​brainer!

I’m probably like MANY of you. I don’t look forward to the DENTIST! Whatever your phobia may be Dr. Mah and his great staff put you at ease. I’ve been seeing Dr. Mah on and off for over a DECADE! I haven’t had a better dentist anywhere I lived. Since relocating back to the Bay Area. I had my first root canal and the procedure went by with ease! He has a great practice for families and individuals!

Jerry Mah has been our family dentist for many years, after he took over the practice from my childhood dentist, Dr. Jerry Binnings. Dr. Mah and his wonderful staff are like family. They care about their patients, are extremely professional, friendly and competent.
I always have a great experience with the simplest to the most complicated procedures. I am also one that is slow to respond to anesthesia, and Dr. Mah always makes sure that I am completely numbed up so that I feel absolutely no pain. Dr. Mah has done root canals, crowns, and handled tricky old filings, all the while taking him time and never doing more than is necessary. I highly recommend his work and dread the day that HE retires (which I hope is many years off!)

I recently started going to Dr. Mah given the previous Unilocal reviews and I have to say this dental office is awesome! Everyone who works here, from reception, hygienist and Dr Mah himself are so gentle, thorough, and did I mention GENTLE? If you are afraid of dentists, as I am, you will truly appreciate the general demeanor at this office. Last week I had the most pleasant root canal?! I was scared to death but got through it with the only soreness being my jaw, from staying open for 2 hours. Today I took my 4 year old for her first cleaning and she loved it, it’s all she’s been talking about, they were great with her. I can’t recommend this office highly enough.

I have been going to Dr. Mah since he took over Dr. Binnings practice. It is never easy to take over someone else’s practice but he has done that gracefully and made a number of improvements in the practice. It didn’t take long before I felt comfortable with Dr. Mah as my dentist and I will continue to come to him for my dental needs. He is a skilled and compassionate dentist and the office staff is very welcoming. I am in the medical field and it speaks volumes about Dr. Mah that the old staff stayed on with the transition in ownership. I usually book my appointments way in advance but found when I had an emergency, they were very accomodating and moved their schedule around to get me in.

Dr. Mah is extremely professional and the office staff is very friendly. I am such a germaphobe so I adore all the precautions against cross contamination that the office takes. As another reviewer said, the technology for checking gingivitis is definitely a plus — it’s so sickingly fun to watch to see if you’re acing your gums or failing! I never feel pressured into any dental work that may be unnecessary but I think that Dr. Mah genuinely cares if you have a healthy mouth. I have been seeing Dr. Mah since he took over Dr. Binnings’ practice and he’s taken me in several times in a pinch. Rather than find a dentist closer to home or work in San Francisco, I think I’ll keep driving over the GG to pay a visit to see Dr. Mah. He’s really an honest, respectable dentist.

I needed to switch dentists to one that was closer to where I work rather than to where I live. Dr. Mah and his team were friendly and professional. I was impressed with the latest technology used to keep track of my gum inflammation. It showed where I needed to brush more and showed my progress (or lack thereof) over time. I have been very pleased with my choice in dentists and recommend him to all my friends!
