Jim is smart, calm and extremely well experienced. He gives sound advice and I have given him more than a few difficult returns over the years. I highly recommend Jim Waite, especially for business and trust/​estate tax returns.

Finally, I found someone who is good at dealing with my neuroses related to taxes. Jim calmly explained my tricky tax situation to me, and helped me navigate a difficult situation. It is such a relief to be with someone who is honest and very good at explaining things, and who fights for me to pay as little as necessary, at a rate that is much better than other accountants with his expertise. I can’t recommend him enough. He is based in Marin but it really doesn’t matter. I live in the city and we do practically everything by telephone and internet.
