History
Established in 2008.
Inner Architect was established as a social media agency in the fall of 2008, during one of America’s worst recessions, long before social media networks and social media marketing were ubiquitous staples in society and our business culture. We were in the digital marketing space before Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram and all of the other social networks were common household names.
We began with the theory that future entrepreneurs, small business owners, and companies would break away from the century old distribution model where their content was owned and controlled by the mass media. We envisioned a time where everyone would have the freedom to create and control their content messages with publishing platforms they could build, sustain, and grow.
In Inner Architect’s early days lots of people thought what we were doing was just a passing fad. But luckily we met other believers who became our first clients.
Meet the Business Owner
Susan H.
Business Owner
Susan Hanshaw is the chief marketing strategist for Inner Architect. With an extensive and experienced background in direct and digital marketing, Susan has developed and managed lead generation and customer contact strategies on both the client and vendor sides. Susan has worked for and consulted with companies from Bank of America, Time Inc., Home Depot and Victoria’s Secret to hundreds of small to medium-sized niche businesses.
Growing up in her career in the magazine industry, Susan got an ivy-league education while working under the wing of Direct Marketing Association Hall of Fame inductee John Klingel while she was circulation manager during the launch of Health magazine.
Susan has been a contributing writer for Plaintiff and Advocate magazine, Multichannel Merchant, Search Engine People, and Target Marketing’s eM+C. She earned a B.S. degree in Business Management with a concentration in Computer Programming.
