Goju Karate offers a full-​range of adult and children’s classes focused on Becoming Better. Students define what that means to them — becoming strong, become more focused, becoming mindful, become more intense, becoming more joyful — and then we train hard to follow those goals.

We offer general classes, mediation, endurance classes, kata, sparring, and more — and our students range from 3 ½ years old to 85 years old. It doesn’t matter what shape you’re in now, or whether you’ve ever tried martial arts before.

History

Established in 2010.

Goju Karate was established in 2010 as one of only six IMGKA-​member Goju Ryu Karatedo dojos in the United States. From our original location in Mill Valley, CA, we have grown to one of the largest dojos in North America, and we are now located in San Rafael, CA, in a beautiful new 10,000 sq. ft. facility.
