We specialize in teaching beginners age 5+ and helping more experienced players take their guitar playing to the next level. We teach all styles of music including Jazz, Rock, Blues, Bluegrass, Country, Metal, and much much more. We also like to work on music that you enjoy listening to. Guitar Lessons San Rafael is a small and independent company that has moved from the city of Chicago where it has flourished for 13 years. The decades of teaching experience support the success of our method. We specialize in helping our students meet high, yet realistic goals. Guitar Lessons San Rafael is dedicated to educate, inspire and motivate each of its students to excel to their fullest potential.

Business Owner

Drew Krag graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a concentration in Jazz Guitar Performance. He studied under many inspiring teachers including; Frank Dawson, Peter Lerner and Rick Beancci. Drew has also attended many guitar workshops and seminars where he received instruction from; John Scofield, Paul Gilbert, John Patitucci, Jim Hall, Pat Martino, Larry Coryell, Mike Stern, John Abercrombie, Jody Fisher, and Harry Jacobson. As well as being a co founder of www​.Gui​tarPlayerU​.com, Drew has also been a panelist and contributor to www​.gear​wire​.com. He also competed in the American Guild of Music Regional Music Competition, taking 1^st place in pop solo for three consecutive years.

Drew has been teaching music classes for over fifteen years. He currently teaches over forty students per week. Drew has taught everything from recording, mixing, and music business to guitar, drums, piano and jazz theory.
