Private guitar lessons. Styles include rock, blues, jazz, metal, folk, funk, latin, reggae, classical and more. Subjects include chords, scales & modes, rhythm, sight reading, music theory, improvisation, arpeggios, picking techniques, ear training and much more. Teacher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, has nearly a decade and a half of guitar playing experience, plus over 4 years of experience as a private instructor. All ages and experience levels welcome!

Daryl B.

Business Owner

Daryl Bond has been teaching guitar professionally since 2006. Since then he has taught over 5,000 private guitar lessons and inspired hundreds of students to play guitar. Daryl currently lives in San Francisco and teaches throughout the Bay Area.

Daryl has a degree in Jazz Performance from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. He has performed with legendary jazz trombonist Julian Priester (Herbie Hancock Sextet), Latin Grammy nominee Jovino Santos Neto, and opened for The Bad Plus. He has studied privately with some of the finest guitarists on the West Coast, including Chris Pimentel, Mike Denny, and Dave Peterson. Daryl enjoys playing a wide variety of guitar styles, from rock and metal to jazz and blues.

When not immersed in music, Daryl enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and spending time with his girlfriend, Katie, and their dog, Fred.
