The Community Media Center of Marin (CMCM) is a non-​profit organization providing residents of Marin County with access to communication technologies, media training and the latest digital tools so they can create cable TV and online media.

CMCM operates Marin TV, Marin County’s own non-​commercial community, educational and governmental cable channels. Marin TV is available on Comcast (channel 26, 27 & 30) and AT&T U-​Verse (channel 99), reaching over 70,000 Marin households.

This is an extremely well run Community Access Media Center, I’ve been producing shows there for a few years and the facilities and training is fantastic.
If you’d like to shhot video, edit, create stories, write scripts, edit video, create TV programs — they will help you make it happen.
(this is such a great asset to the community, even if you don’t want to produce a show, please donate — it’s a big service on a shoe string budget :)

The Media center has seasoned over the last few years. The staff becomes more savvy as the years go by offering a more interesting selection of workshops such as After Affects and photography with cell phone and iPads.
