A very nice small library located on the fourth floor of a very confusing building, the Marin Civic Center. Paul is the man and Rue is on cue. WHEN YOU COME ON THE WEEKENDS TAKE THE ELEVATOR.

I’m not sure when this started, but the current daytime staff seem to have no problem with people talking LOUDLY and continually. Very poor standards.

This is a great library for the entire family. Excellent location, excellent collection, and so clean. Staff is friendly. Kid section is perfect.

Such a cool library. It’s located literally on the «circular part» of «that cool building you can see from the freeway.»
What more can you say. Sweet library that carries the books I need, located in great spot. :-)

This library is good enough. They had several books that I wanted to check out so I decided to open a library card here. The librarians are nice too.
I’m slashing off a star cuz I don’t like some of Marin’s library policies I mean if you want a book on hold it costs 50 cents for each book that remains on the hold shelf. That stuff really adds up. None of the Contra Costa libraries do this they hold the books for u for free and u can check out up to 100 books. Here is 50.
Oh well I guess some people can afford to do that. I can’t so I’m only checking out the books that are already available that way it’s free.
Also I wanna comment on the building itself. It’s shaped like an arch and the hallways are narrow. Sometimes the elevators are broken but other than that it’s all good.

We LOVE this library! It’s huge! We made it a tradition to come here every Tuesday to pick out a few books and I let my daughter pick out one movie. They do storytime in the kids section, but we’ve never come to one.
The first time we came here we were a little lost, the building’s design is, well, interesting. Frank Lloyd Wright seems like he was an interesting fellow.

No reason to think they will eliminate the interlibrary loan. This is a standard, basic service. You can also reserve the books from your home computer and pick them up at any library, and return them to any library.

This is of course the main library for Marin County. You can actually look into their book log and if the book is in Mill Valley for instance you can request it to be sent to the Main library. I used this service a few times, but I think with the state budget cuts this service will longer be available.
They already cut some of the hours and I assume more cuts will come. The funniest thing to me is while I’m walking to the library through the civic center, each and every one of the government office has a picture of our governor hung on the wall. It infuriates me because of him our state is in a crisis.
In addition, because of him the library will soon be cut down to a mere few hours a day and without any services. Please continue to support your local libraries and communities by keeping your dollars in the local mom and pop businesses.

This is a great little library.
It’s in the Marin Civic Center that was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and this whole building is great.
The library space itself is circular, well-​lit and airy. The environment created is expansive and unconfined, which is the perfect match for your open mind as you stroll the bookshelves or sit and read.
There’s a ton of parking for this library, just drive under the southernmost archway and there is an entire parking lot on the west side of the building.
