Il Davide Great Calimari Fritti and Beet salad but the rest of the meal was not very good. Linguini Vongole in a heavy cream sauce? I don’t think so. How about a light clam broth? Not here. Cindy had a Pork dish. A bone of Pork that was breaded and deep fried then covered in a sauce of some kind. Don’t really know what it was. Sorry, but for all the hype this place has gotten I was totally unimpressed. The bill was $ 100 with tip and we brought our own wine. Our server was great so it was not a total disaster. Very disappointed.

I heard a vicious rumor that this place is closed or closing. I honestly hope that it is just mere heresay. The place was gorgeous; it had was painted with a beautiful starry sky on the storefront(yes, I know the translation for the restaurant’s name, so don’t email me a ‘DUH’, kay?). Inside, the vibe is warm with candles and chianti bottles, and the manager/or owner, an LOVELY older Italian man who sits at your table with his glass of wine and chats for a spell. The first night we dined here, it was my birthday, and he brought over a bottle of prosecco to treat us. They also make one of my favorite dishes, Ravioli di Zucca. Oh, I really do hope those rumors are unfounded!
